I have been burned in the past by dealers and Paul is straight forward, works with you in any way, and most important, is honest. I came to him with some strikes against me and without making me feel worse than I already did, he put everything aside and got to business and worked out a deal on an amazing car. I recommend Paul to all of my friends and co-workers, as Paul came very highly recommended to me by a student at the school where I work. It is by word of mouth you find the best, the most honest and the people who will work for you, Paul is that man. Suzanne B.

Deceptive billing practices hidden behind a "family safety" sales pitch…read more I recently brought my 2018 Infinity Q50 here for an agreed-upon $89.00 A/C check. Once they had my car in the shop they pushed an extra $115.00 manual labor charge, claiming they "could not" use a diagnostic scanner port in my car because every electrical component had to be checked individually. I questioned that and was told that the port in my car would not read "broken wires, bad ground or power supply." The upcharge was paid for and I drove home. When I got home i did some research and as I suspected their claim was completely false. A 2018 Infinity HVAC computer instantly generates diagnostic codes like open circuit or short to ground and the power supply. The standard, legal procedure in New Jersey is to plug the scanner in under the initial agreed-upon fee of $89.00 first, pull codes, and then present the findings to the customer to request authorization for further manual labor. Instead they skipped the standard legal procedure to manufacture additional labor hours, completely bypassing required procedure. After contacting the service manager by email and giving them the opportunity to refund the upcharged amount they maintained their position even though their own documentation proves my claim to be true. I am filing a formal complaint with the New Jersey division of Consumer Affairs and initiating a credit card dispute for deceptive upcharging. Watch your paperwork very careully here. They claimed their scanner was of no use onmy car and could not read the required codes to diagnose my A/C correctly. My vehicle uses an entirely computer-controlled electronic variable compressor, meaning their advanced scanners are precisely the tools designed to read these electrical faults. They used their advertised "High-Tech" Certifications to justify a "Bait and switch" price upcharge tactic. They refused my written request for a partial refund in writing. As a senior citizen, I do not like getting taken advantage of and neither should you. Be cautious and be wary of the upselling or upcharging

From start…read moreto finish, he was professional, respectful, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive to what I wanted. I knew exactly which vehicle I wanted and the price I was prepared to pay, and Mr. Monroig delivered--without the pressure or games I have unfortunately experienced at other dealerships. I contacted several Bergen County, New Jersey dealerships, including senior management, and was disappointed by the way I was treated. As a woman, I felt I was not given the respect I deserved and, in some instances, was being deliberately overcharged. My experience with Mr. Monroig at Franklin Sussex Hyundai was completely different. He treated me with professionalism and integrity, and he made the entire process straightforward and enjoyable. I sincerely thank Mr. Monroig and the entire Franklin Sussex Hyundai team for such a fantastic experience. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a professional and respectful car-buying experience, and I look forward to continuing to choose Hyundai vehicles in the future!

She cut him off while speaking numerous of times, completely scolded instead of coaching him and honestly this was more discrimination than being unqualified. unfortunately she is the example of what this company values and that it has no regard to its employees characteristics. and it's completely sad as a human. she needs to be fired because now I don't ever want to own a Hyundai bc of her.

They were very friendly, and had the exact problem diagnosed after asking me just a few questions. They didn't try to upsell me on things I didn't need. Four hours later, I was picking up my car, and driving home. The best part was that the repair didn't break the bank, and the total cost was less than it was just to have my old mechanic in Bergen County just take a look at it. To me, that was an incredible value! Another great thing about these guys is that they like follow ups. They ask you to call or stop by in a day or two just to make sure your car is all good. This dealership attracts customers by having people write FAKE reviews. 1- my husband and I purchased a used 2014 dodge journey from this dealership in March 2023, we paid the "dealer fee" yet and still had to go to DMV to file our own paperwork, the car had no inspection. We were given a temporary license plate (which I felt was given so our mechanic wouldn't realize it was a Lemon during the inspection process), AND then the lien wasn't even placed on the title, so we huge issues with the bank after the fact. This dealership ONLY cared about the money. 2- ONCE the car was taken to NY to a mechanic for the inspection within a week of buying the car, we were given a laundry list of issues we needed to fix just to get the car inspected and safe to drive. The car kept not starting(with the push to start), all of the tires were rotted, the shocks were rotted, the strut was literally hanging and were broken(mind you we could've died with our child in the car driving from NJ to NY), when we called the dealer multiple times all of a sudden they did not speak English and was unable to help. 3- fast forward to 3 months later and the car STILL doesn't start when we try to start it and is now STALLING while driving. Again several attempts to contact the dealer because who sells cars they know have issues. 4- Best advice is for you to RUN!!!!!!! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS DEALER!!!!!! BAD BUSINESS!!!! The worst part is the car was SMOKING the day we looked at it and both salesmen came out with the mechanic and started to speak in their language, they asked us to wait and they sprayed some kind of spray on the engine to make it stop smoking. Guess what it stopped smoking just long enough for the lemon law to be passed the date of complaint.

Hamed, the owner of the dealership said it had loud mufflers on it. Turns out a couple of weeks later when we went to get it inspected here in Pennsylvania, there was a big hole in the rusted out muffler and we had to replace most of the exhaust system $700. Now that it is getting warmer, in mid May, my Daughter tried to use the air conditioner and it blew out warm air. We took it to our mechanic who found that the Compressor is seized up and in need of replacement, another $700. Hamed had promised that they had gone through the truck before the sale to check for problems and that there were no issues. I've been trying to reach AMA Auto Sales and Hamed, but they conveniently never answer their phone. My advise to anyone looking to buy a vehicle, is to stay Hell and gone from this dealership. They are crooks and will lie to your face with a smile and pat on the back. Joe Redondo
