They simply replaced the retainer clip... which would have been great if they did not charge for 1.5 hours of labor. Removing and replacing both lines would have taken less than 1 hour... what they did probably took 15 minutes.... What a joke. They said they cleaned up as best they could... when I got the car back transmission fluid was still everywhere... If you have to use them, get an estimate first. If you can avoid them.... Do so at all costs

I asked what could be causing the grinding and was told it was metal fibers in the break pads. I left feeling a little better I had checked on my car for the safety of my family but still felt the grinding when breaking. 1 week later and I looked closely at my front rotor and see it's shredded. After evaluating my Ford I was told that there was a Technical Bulletin that came out from Ford several years ago. I am impressed that they did the research to evaluate my car. They told me I did NOT NEED A TRANSMISSION. I only needed an update on the vehicle computer. Here's the numbers. Ford wanted $3500 for a rebuilt transmission. A new transmission was $6000. Final cost at Scotty's $150 to evaluate $250 to upload the new software Total $400.00 Can't say enough good things about this place. Talk about trusting a Mecanic!!!
