Downtown

Parking - It's Atlanta. Get in where you fit in…read more The Scene - Checkout the pics, it's nothing fancy. The walls are graffiti'd, the tables are wobbly but the bathroom is clean! The Eats - I've eaten tacos, nachos, quesadillas, and wings. All good food. My only complaint is the damned canned sodas. When with a group and chatting, that can is gone in 5 minutes. The Service - I've been on packed nights and the service has always been swift. I ordered food on the walk from the HIlton, and it was ready when I arrived. They made good drinks and ate pretty friendly. Parting Thoughts - I'm getting hungry just thinking about this spot. Grab some friends and enjoy a good time.

I would give this place zero stars if possible. This was the worst experience ever. Do not come…read morehere if you're hungry. We ordered Mexico City tacos (two for $12) and two Patrón margaritas. The bartender filled the cup with ice before even mixing the drinks, so I knew the liquor-to-mix ratio was off. Even after asking for less ice, the margarita was a 4/10 at best. Then came the food--cold tacos, not even lukewarm. I told the waitress, who seemed clueless, and the kitchen lead insisted they were fresh. I handed him a cold taco to prove otherwise, and he took the plates back. After a long wait, the tacos returned warm but completely flavorless, lacking any authenticity. I've had better tacos from an LA food truck. The wings weren't even lemon pepper--just coated in some random sauce. The only decent things were the crinkle fries and the loud music. To top it off, security allowed people to smoke indoors despite there being a designated smoking area. I will never return and advise others to avoid this place if you want even mediocre food and a smoke-free environment.

Beautiful views, but the service and the food left much to be desired…read more I ordered chicken skewers, 2 mocktails, artichoke dip, and yucca fries. The chicken skewers took forever to come out. You only get two of them, and they are served over a bed of mixed greens. They lacked seasoning and flavor. The artichoke dip was extremely oily and had a very strange texture--it was thick and spreadable. The pita bread tasted old and stale. asked for a fork and the waitress forgot. When she brought my fries, she realized that she never brought the fork, and still didn't bring it. I ordered yucca fries, but she brought regular fries. The mocktails were served in these foggy old cups. Even the customer next to me commented on her own cup and said it looked like someone had drank from it. They add 20% gratuity to ALL bills--I was by myself and it was still added. 5 Church is pretty good, but this place was not at all. I paid 65 dollars for my meal, which was absolutely not worth it, given the quality and service of my experience. Looks good for IG but I won't be coming back to this rooftop.

Virtue Rooftop is a whole mood on a Tuesday. I touched down for the "Jazz on the Rooftop" session,…read moreand the live saxophonist was definitely the highlight--sliding through covers and originals with the kind of ease that makes a date night feel effortless. The spot is huge with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, so you aren't cramped while trying to catch a vibe. The 1000 Masks cocktail was smooth and balanced, avoiding the sugar-trap I expected from the blueberry syrup. We started with the Yuca Parmesan Truffle Fries--solid crunch and the truffle wasn't aggressive--and the Togarashi Tempura Veggies, which were light and crispy. I went with the 5Church Lamb Burger Sliders for the main; the gorgonzola fondue and red onion marmalade combo was a heavy hitter, though the lemon-dressed arugula kept it grounded. The food was a solid, reliable choice--nothing that'll change your life, but definitely tasty enough to keep you satisfied while the music does its thing. If you want a laid-back, intentional atmosphere without the extra noise, this is the move.

I visited Swan Coach House for my best friend's 60th birthday. She wanted a beautiful tea party…read morewithout having to fuss with planning and putting everything together herself, and this was the perfect place! The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful and perfect for afternoon tea, brunch, or celebrating a special occasion. The food was really good, and I was pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the prices were, especially for a restaurant located in Buckhead. The waitstaff was phenomenal--friendly, attentive, and made our celebration feel special. There's also a lovely gift shop with personalized items, handbags, beautiful scarves, jackets, coats, and so much more. I even noticed an art gallery toward the back. Overall, Swan Coach House is just a lovely experience. Beautiful setting, great service, good food, reasonable prices, and the perfect place to celebrate my best friend turning 60. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would definitely recommend it! But valet parking fills really quickly, so I recommend the dining room and as early as possible.

My first visit with friends for my birthday lunch. Wow, spectacular place for lunch and some…read moreshopping. Our reservations were for 6 at 1:30pm. We arrived between 12:45-1 pm. Greeted by our valet parking attendant, no self parking. Entered the Coach House and started shopping. Nice selection of gifts; purses, jewelry, attire, Knickknacks, art, wares people have made (beautiful items), jackets, etcetera. Something for everyone. We given a 5 min. countdown to be seated. Had a very nice waitress named Aigner. She greeted us at our table letting us know seasonal drinks and menu highlights. I chose their Lavender Lemonade w/vodka which was delicious and beautiful to look at. My friend tried the Hibiscus seasonal drink and chose not to finish it due to the alcohol was a bit much. All our meals were very good, aesthetically beautiful and a nice portion. They give complimentary mini muffins with flavored butter for spread before your meal. For dessert we all ordered their signature Swan dessert which was scrumptious. Loved the combo of flavors and very light. The inside interior was on the old Atlanta side, but very apropos for the time period of the Swan Coach House. Just absolutely loved everything about my first visit and will make sure to bring female visitors back. I wouldn't take my husband although he'd love to go. I didn't see any males on our visit. I asked our waitress if men go and she responded "if their wives or fianc drag them in". lol The afternoon was perfect and the time (1:30 pm reservation) was perfect as it was busy on this particular Tuesday. They accommodated us even after we were finishing up after they closed at 2:30 pm, very gracious to us. It is definitely worth lots of return visits.
