He also wanted the tip money before he even brought my car to me. Basically wanted to hold my car hostage until I tipped him. Never again!!!! They do not vet their employees. A block away. Upon arriving to the event the valet attendant addressed my party asking if "we parked on the side street?". A few fumbled words later he shared "that's us too"..... with an implication we needed to provide a key. I reluctantly passed over my key, but the attendant didn't know what car belonged to me & mind you, I'm parked a block away.... not on event property. About an hour later I return to valet and the same attendant is standing guard. I advised him while he took my key, I would like to retrieve my vehicle myself because the key fob battery does not work and he would not be able to find my car. He declined my offer and explained he needed to retrieve my car. I shared with him I parked on a city street and "give me my key". He begins to argue you with me regarding our initial exchange sharing "we are liable for your car". Again, I AM PARKED OFFSITE on a side street a block away. He reluctantly passed over my key & says "don't hit anything"

We were driving north on Peachtree when a Prestige Valet driver, contracted by La Grotta restaurant, pulled into the middle northbound lane and abruptly made a sharp right turn into the neighboring (church) parking lot to park the SUV (Range Rover). The hired valet driver was a young kid and claimed he never saw us. Alexander Farrington, owner of the valet company - Prestige Valet Services, claimed he had "dropped insurance coverage during the pandemic and had only just started parking again for the restaurant that day. I was in Grady for 70+ days. Lacerated my femoral artery, broken ribs, broken clavicle, broken wrist, broken femur, grade 4 liver laceration, burst spinal fracture that led to a fusion of 7 vertebrae. Plus I almost lost my leg.

Adding insult to injury, the company's response was unbelievable. They denied liability wholesale and claimed to have taken "every reasonable measure to safeguard [our] vehicle" even though the car was driven off the lot without them noticing while it was supposedly under their watch. The owner knew about this mechanical the night before but called me 3 hours before my guests needed to be picked up from the hotel. This situation placed me in a bad position as I had guests that were expecting the party bus experience. I reserved this party bus for my boyfriend's birthday. I was devastated and had to call around to other bus companies for same day service. Thank GOD I was able to find another bus company that was able to pick up the guests as we had reservations for each spot that the bus was taking us to. I had to pay double than what I paid for this company due to the last minute booking and the bus wasn't as nice as this bus company. However, the other bus company got the job done.
