I haven't been to the business location. The transportation, setup, and breakdown were included in the price. Oddly, I haven't spoken or seen H. Terry as we coordinated for a photo booth for my wedding day in Duluth. He was super prompt and had lightening speed replies to my emails. The guy who arrived and did the setup on our big day was superbly friendly and engaging. Was it H. Terry?! I guess I was just wowed by the service level as I was sort of afraid that the price for what we were getting was a scam. It is not. I assure you. :) The price was pretty good as we compared a handful of other photo booth places. The photos aren't in the typical 3 to 4 strip form, it's a singular photo with phrases that can be added. Guests are able to print these and take them home instantly. The GIF's were sooo cute. It's sort of like a vine video where the video will loop. At the end of it all, you're emailed a link with all the photos taken that day. I haven't figured out the GIF portion yet. read more

I booked Lumee Booth for an event my company hosted in Atlanta and I am severely disappointed in the service we received. I do not recommend this company at all! I hopped on the phone with Hassan when booking to ensure all of our needs would be met, and he gave me no reason to think that they wouldn't be. We asked for and agreed upon the following from Hassan: Upgraded 4x6 prints An additional rental hour 3-hour activation Instant social sharing kiosk Your choice of backdrop An on-site photo booth operator/digital tech Free delivery, set-up, and pick up in the Atlanta area An online gallery of images from your event However, Come event day- No pictures were printed out, they were late on arrival and were still setting up the booth 30 minutes into the event, there was no instant social sharing, the backdrop was not was I asked for, and the attendant didn't do anything except lie to my face (I asked twice if photos were being printed, she and Hassan both said yes- when in fact, they were not being printed). To top it all off, he sent me the photos that were taken in a drop box link, and every single photo that was taken was out of focus and blurry (photo attached as an example). When I emailed the following day to check in on what happened, Hassan claimed there was a Wifi issue. Hard to believe since my wifi and everyone else's wifi was working completely fine. The level of communication throughout the night was absolutely horrible. I went up to them numerous times to try to see what was going on and see if I could help and they kept telling me everything was fine (when clearly it wasn't). If they had mentioned a wifi issue, I could have helped resolve this instead of having a photo booth letting people take photos they'll never receive. When I asked for a refund, because we didn't received anything we asked for, he only gave me a refund for the lack of prints and late arrival time. He kept blaming wifi and took no responsibility for the issues that he caused. I order 2 photo booth companies a month all across the country and never have I experienced such terrible service. This company seems to have gone out of business, with no notice to any existing contracts. If you have an event scheduled with them, I suggest finding a back up. Luckily some of these reviews prompted me to double check, and we were able to find a different vendor for our May wedding. There was no return of deposit, no notice of closure, and the automated emails continued up until our event. While I understand Covid impacted plenty of businesses, it is extremely disrespectful and disappointing to not even notify existing contracts of a closure. Look elsewhere if you have an event scheduled with them. read more

Would absolutely not recommend doing business here. I attempted to book Lumee Booth for our company holiday party. I spoke with Hassan on the phone and he was very pleasant, got a quote over really quickly. We agreed that we would be booking for our specified date and Hassan said he would get me photo strip templates over by Friday and acknowledged that they would be delivering the booth to our event location. So far so good right... well over the course of several emails, I let them know that I needed a W-9 in order to get the payment check sent to them. I was promised twice that they would send it over, once on 11/26 at 3:31pm and once on 12/2 at 10:32am. Never happened. I requested the W-9 yet again this morning asking them to please send it over by end of day so we could get them paid. Fast forward to 3pm today, my accounting dept calls to get a copy of the W-9 yet again and speaks with Candy and is told "we don't have your group down for any event and that date isn't available anymore." So I call, thinking there's no way, I've been emailing trying to arrange payment for over a week now.This must be a mistake.' So I speak with Candy who apparently is one owner along with her husband Hassan, whom I initially spoke with. Candy was incredibly rude and constantly spoke over me, telling me that we didn't need a W-9 to pay a deposit (It's our company policy). She was extremely unprofessional and incredibly rude. She offered no attempt at finding a solution for what is very clearly a massive lapse in communication on their part. Very glad we were able to book with someone else! read more

I contacted Lumee for photo booth services at a large graduation party and am so glad I did. Having the booth was a great way for all of the guests to make fun memories they could actually take home with them. The booth did not take up a lot of space- all that was needed was an electrical outlet, small table for the props and Wifi. The attendant arrived on time and was professional. Props are provided and you can pick your background and customize the border on your prints. I priced several photo booths and Lumee Booth was by far was the best value. One of the most disappointing vendor experiences I've had in recent years. We booked online, paid our deposit, and filled out a "questionnaire" where we selected a background and "custom frame" for our photos, and confirmed WiFi would be available on site. No instructions ever came for how to design our custom frame, and it took multiple calls (initiated by us) to confirm those details. The night of our event, the "photo booth" (just a curtain and a free-standing light ring) didn't show up until 15 minutes before our event started (car trouble for 'the employee' was sited, and instead the owner showed up in his/her place.) We were told immediately that the space we had allocated for our "booth" did not have the proper power outlet (this requirement was never communicated to us prior to the event, including in the questionnaire, and is a PRIME example of why you show up for an event for load-in with significant time to spare). Adjustments were made, and the backdrop we pre-selected (champagne sequin) was DUCT-TAPED to the window, completing set-up. Additional complaints include the poor quality of the photos, that all photos were linked together - meaning all party attendants could see all photos through the texted universal link, that the photo booth attendant (the owner) was playing games on his phone all evening, and that the battery died to the light ring before our event ended (!), etc. I would highly suggest taking your business elsewhere. read more

Rented Lumee Booth for a graduation party. Great experience! All the guest enjoyed taking photos and having them available to share. Many photo booth rentals charge additional for services, but Lumee Booth doesn't do this. The attendant did an awesome job as well. I would recommend Lumee Booth for any event. read more

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! If I could leave no stars I would. I do fundraisers for a national non-profit and picked a different vendor trying not to mix personal and professional. While I appreciate the prompt response. The props were lame, orange & green glasses, multicolor boa, and 2-3 emoji faces on sticks. The attendant never notified event coordinator, venue staff, or myself there were Wi-Fi issues (not on a public Wi-Fi but only vendor on private venue Wi-Fi). Didn't have printing as promised in contract. Photos were not delivered to more than half the guests that utilized the booth and link to our album captured 34 pictures, yet we know of more than or participated in many more than what was recorded. I am extremely disappointed my son's major life milestone wasn't recorded the way we had hoped. The company tried to make amends and did some additional photos that were captured but not uploaded and did refund me partial payment but it doesn't make up for our disappointment. read more
