He was quickly able to determine that the smell was not coming in from under the house and that it was coming from behind a wall or a cabinet. I really appreciate that he informed me that if it's a mouse it'll stop smelling in one or two weeks or if it's a rat it will completely stop smelling within three or four weeks. This really helped the situation for me because I now know the odor will dissipate and there's no other action I need to take because it doesn't make sense for me to start ripping holes in my walls to try to find where it is when it's going to stop stinking potentially before I would finish doing all of that expensive work to my walls! Although, I didn't end up needing to actually hire them to extract a dead animal, I sure do appreciate how quickly Jonathan got over to assess the situation and his call to explain everything to me. If you won't let me first tell you about the inspector in both cases, Ernesto Lopez. To the point he is just simply a nice guy, fair, honest, reliable, and did a complete inspection explaining every aspect of what was needed. As for the 1st inspection of a house I had just purchased Orkin, based on his review saved me around $1500. (the sellers had their own inspection) Baecause of that I asked him to inspect a house i was selling whereby a different company estimated a cost of $26000. Orkins cost was around $11000. , $3500 of which was woodwork. Here's the thing, Ernesto said if we did the work he would come back and inspect it and if completed to his satisfaction would submit a clearance to show the work had been done. And that's exactly what he did. That house is now under contract. I know people have different experiences and knowing you have to pay to kill the little critters infecting you home is not the most pleasant thing to do ,but if you have to, it at least takes a little bit of the sting out when you can rely on the honest and fair services and their employees, especially if you have one like Ernesto.

Instead, they wanted to charge us $75 to spray--even after just completing the fumigation. Brandi mentioned she would check with the owner about waiving the fee, but we NEVER received a call back. My husband could easily spray for ants himself, but it's about the principle. After spending that much money, we expected better follow-through and basic customer service.

Upon finding droppings and chewed up towels, we thought we had mice, so we called Western. Greg came to our house and discovered that we actually had rats. You can imagine how frustrating it can be to work with four girls freaking out when hearing this, but Greg worked with us really well. I really appreciated how he explained exactly where he thought the rat was coming from and where it was going. It gave me peace of mind having an explanation. Greg set up traps around our house and gave us his cell phone number and said we could call him when we saw a trapped rat and he would come get it (during working hours). While we were waiting for rats to be trapped, Greg also called me and said, "I've been thinking about your house and I'm pretty sure the rat is entering through the bedroom." It meant a lot that Greg was thinking about how to best help us. Greg also responded quickly and returned calls promptly, which I appreciated because I felt he understood how we wanted to get this over with as quickly as possible. Probably some of the best customer service I have received from anywhere- Greg helped ease the stress of having rats in the house by A LOT! tl;dr: If you have a pest problem, call Greg! The tech, **Richard Becerra**, showed up and did the inspection while I stayed inside. When he left, I discovered he had made a huge mess--wood chips and paint chips all over my vehicle, which scratched the finish. Then I went to lock my side gate and found that he had **broken a large, healthy succulent plant**. There were fresh boot prints in the soil and the break was clearly new (green, wet, and obviously just damaged). Nobody else had been back there--it was absolutely him. I called the office immediately, and while a manager came out quickly, he insisted it "couldn't have been Richard" even after I showed him the footprints and damage. Instead of taking responsibility, both he and the branch manager denied everything. It was incredibly unprofessional and dismissive. We canceled our contract on the spot. To make things worse, Richard later contacted me trying to move forward with his **$8,200 termite quote**, even after I told him not to. He then contacted me *again* to tell me he wanted to "pray for me." If he reaches out one more time, I'll be filing a harassment report. **Unprofessional, dishonest, and careless from top to bottom. I do not recommend this company.**

When I asked to cancel due to the false claims, they said they could talk about using the organic products which the salesman told me were already using and included in what I signed up for, I told them I can not trust them and want to cancel the service. They then told me the will be charging me $200 to cancel. Seems like a scam to me.
