They custom built 4 bunk beds into a small bedroom - wired each bunk for private lights, installed curtains and bookshelves - the small bedroom now sleeps four and looks like something out of Elle Decor! More than that I felt that my money was treated like it was their own, all options were always discussed when it came to purchases. If he noticed a chair was scratching when moved he would show up the next day with felt pads and then be on to the task he was there for - attention to detail was incredible. Shoes were removed and every room was cleaned every day - couldn't be happier! Since then I have had a custom made barnwood chicken coop and tree house designed and built at another property. I will begin an addition soon . Highly recommend , very trustworthy.

He's an "OG" vendor in the sense that he brings a traditional approach, but more importantly, he's very people-first. He's reasonable, easy to work with, and does a solid job managing the complexity that comes with multiple crews and projects. Things don't always go perfectly on any job, but when something comes up, Chris is responsive and works toward a solution. That goes a long way. His attention to detail is strong too--most of the time, he's already identified or handled items before I even bring them up. I also really appreciate that he's willing to help with smaller repairs. A lot of contractors, especially those working on high-end homes, are too busy for the day-to-day needs that come with property management. Chris can handle high-end custom projects and full rebuilds, but is still reliable for the smaller stuff, which is rare.

Usually, I am "all-for" organic, low toxicity means of pest control. Until it comes to termites. Upon move-in 1/2020, I opened up an interior cupboard to find a large nest of live beetle-like shiny insects making a mad dash to exit thru a LARGE, easy to see opening to the exterior. **RPG had totally missed this**. Called to inspect/remediate. Was given Big Lecture on the advisability of Integrated Pest Management. RPG first came as per appointment to inspect, then failed to show for WARRANTIED FUP. We ended up "treating locally" ourselves ~2/2020. No more scurrying beetle-like insects from that particular cupboard. But earwigs and other insects keep falling from cracks in the ceiling. Crawling out from heater vents and other supposedly "closed" spaces. Yesterday, 5/2020, I climbed a ladder to do some exterior cleaning in the filthy eaves above my front door. The wood is rotted in several places, so much so that a pencil can easily push through. Obviously, termite or other wood-destroying pests have been at work and **obviously for some time**. First, I am calling a REAL Pest Control Company (the two which we've used for ~30 years in Goleta were both outstanding). I will beg them to come to Santa Ynez. If their findings are as I suspect they will be, my next call is to our attorney.
