I've gotten help from Darren twice now and both times have been courteous, efficient, and…read moreeffective. The first was a fridge ice maker in 2021, and the second was a stovetop burner a couple of weeks ago. Who are these people who are giving this guy 5 stars? family and friends? Unless you have a very…read moresimple fix, this guy is just going to just be guessing what the problem is and he'll keep trying AND CHARGING every time he tries and attempts to do a "new" fix. Basically threw dead money at this guy as he couldn't diagnose it the first time. Bill changed everything in the fridge and it still DO NOT work. Bill's the type of repair guy that will make you just buy a new fridge instead of attempting to fix it if you ever have a problem in the future. Maybe the other five star reviews needed him to change an air filter or something. Bill is very incompetent.

We've had Don in a couple times based on a friend's referral, but I'd not have him again. The…read moreautomatic ice maker he installed in our freezer has never dumped the ice right. It would overrun the bin. He came back and bent that wire that is supposed to trip the stop, but it has never worked right. I have to manually flip it down when I get ice now or it won't make more. He replaced the belt on our dryer and it has made a ton of noise since. He says it is fine. Nice enough guy, but he was not great at what he did. ===========Update================ The dryer stopped heating this week so I bought a heating element and when I opened it up to install it found that Don had not bothered to reinstall all of the screws he took out and he had installed the drum belt upside down with the smooth side facing the drum.

Brought my Ariens snowblower differential gear into the shop for inspection for wear. The…read moreforward/reverse action was slipping and thought, based on Youtube videos, that this part may be the reason. The mechanic looked at it and didn't think this was the problem, he suggested to look at the sprocket bushings, a common failure item. Turned out it was the bushings ($6 part). Saved me the expense of the differential part ($160 part). Good to know that they are not looking to sell you expensive parts that are not the problem. Trust in repair service is rare these days.
