She provided thoughtful touches like snacks and drinks and even a Covid test kit! The decor is retro-80s, but the house is in great condition, and the important things are new: beds, fridge, stove, linens and towels, etc. It was a 4-minute drive to downtown Geneva and Lake Seneca. There are parking spaces for two cars, and Tammy has surrounded the house with happy yellow flowers. It is near the train tracks, but they only seem to run during the day--we slept well every night I had originally booked this so my family could stay with me for the Musselman Half Ironman--it sleeps at least 5 and has plenty of room for my bike and gear downstairs. But I got injured while training and broke a few ribs, so it landed up being a girlfriend weekend. This home was so comfortable and convenient and clean--we can't wait to be back!

The servers were friendly overall but because they appeared to be short staffed over our visit, they were running around which felt a bit chaotic. The wait times for food even with advance reservations were rough. The Arancini, breakfast sandwich and dinner burger were just okay. The breakfast burger tasted much better and the avocado toast was packed with delicious flavors (I ordered it several times). Their brunch buffet offerings were definitely lacking, so I'd pass on it if you're on the fence. And as you can tell, the grounds here and views were picture perfect! We loved the live music offerings as well!

Two stars is me being generous because I do t like to leave negative reviews…read more This is just my opinion based on my personal experience. I'll start off with the few positives. The woman at the front desk was very nice. She greeted us warmly. I enjoyed the orange water in the lobby. The bed was soft. Now to the gross part. It looked like someone gave someone a haircut in the bathroom. There were small long hairs all over the floor and all over the shower. It was disgusting. In any other circumstance, I would have bolted. However, most hotels in the Finger Lakes area were sold out and they practically were too. They were gouging people since it was Labor Day Weekend. If you ask someone to pay $300 for a Microtel, at minimum, cleanliness is not too much to ask for. I told that to the guy at the desk, he listened, gave me sorry about that platitude and that was it. Thus, the reason for the negative review. I always give people a chance to make it right. Do yourself a favor and don't stay here. It's worth it to drive farther for a nice, clean hotel with staff that care about your experience.
