They are heroes in my book- a blessing to find an honest mechanic. My headlight was out and I bought a new bulb at AutoZone which they installed and it didn't work so they said I need a mechanic as it's probably a fuse. Most shops I called wanted to charge me for a complete diagnostic evaluation best price I got was $110. Roy found the bulb wasn't screwed in right and fixed it promptly and did not even charge me. A few years back my engine sent the pistons right into the valves because my timing belt went out, the tire shop I worked from, we'd usually recommend people to them so I trust my guys and Roy's thankfully took me in, when I got my car back things seemed fine, I barely put in 8k miles into my car since that work they did, but now the head gasket burnt out, these guys were the last to ever touch this engine like that. I only recently dug through my engine because I understand this car IS old, anything can happen, but NOT like this shit was fishy. I had hoped they'd work with me on that warranty (6 mo and/or 6k miles) since they set me up for failure, I don't know what they were thinking to not cleaning up the old gasket material or send the head to a machine shop. They also seemed to have lost the engine dowels to align the head and block. I know this place gets a good amount of good reviews, I'm sure they've done good work plenty of times but this was pure negligence on their end, anyone getting work here I guess my advice is to be pretty attentive with the work you get done to your car! read more

Roy's auto repair was fantastic. I got four new tires for 2 of my cars. Naturally I needed an alignment and didn't want to pay too much. I chose Roy's because they were priced very fairly and highly recommended. There was a bit of a wait on a Saturday morning but I soon found out that was because they are amazing at what they do. I got a free check on each car, and was only charged to align 2 tires. I loved the honesty because most places would have just charged for all 4 to be done. I came back an hour later for the other car and didn't wait long. To my amazement I was told it didn't need to be aligned and felt anywhere else would have charged me something just to lift it up and look at the tires.
