Brought a travel backpack to be fixed here: the travel backpack has 2 zippers for the main compartment to open sideways like a suitcase. One of the zippers popped off and wouldn't zip properly, rendering the backpack somewhat useless because you can't open the backpack from the top. The first time I took this backpack here, they fixed it. Backpack works like new again! Same issue happened again, and I took it back thinking they could fix again. I picked up the backpack and returned home to find that they did NOT fix the backpack, they instead only REMOVED the loose zipper. Meaning I only had one zipper on the main compartment, the one that you have to open from the very bottom. Which is silly, because you'd never be able to open the backpack upright without things falling out. So I took it back. I mentioned they didn't fix it, though they did before, and that a zipper is now missing. The lady tried telling me that maybe I had pulled it off by pulling too hard. Definitely not, as I only received it with one zipper. They took it back again to see if they have the missing zipper. I picked up the backpack again, the zipper is fixed! Great. Except now that I'm traveling do I notice that they did NOT give back my original zipper NOR did they replace. They REMOVED a zipper from another pocket of my backpack to put on the main compartment. I am no longer able to use the pocket they removed the zipper from. Crazy that they charged me to "fix" a zipper by removing one of the other functionalities of my backpack, without even asking. read more

Royce Cleaners - Pocket rendered useless by their removal of the zipper, as their faulty "fix" for the issue I took in the bag for. Can't open and close now. - Laundry Services Near Me - Los Angeles, California

I've been using Royce Cleaners for many years - at least five - for all my laundry, dry cleaning, and stitching needs. Maryam does amazing work with the needle and thread, making alterations, totally repairing a vintage patched quilt, and making my clothes fit properly. She also advices me on whether certain articles need to be dry cleaned or laundered. All my fluff and fold comes back neatly folded. And if she says something will be ready at a certain time and date, it is. I always feel the care. I can't do this work myself, and even if I could, having them do it, makes it all worthwhile. read more

This place is quick and efficient. Great prices great value and always have my clothes looking fabulous. I go here for cleaning and alterations! read more

Service is great! I go to them for both alterations and dry cleaning and everything always comes out great!

Stay away!!!! Royce Cleaners totally ruined my $1900 Coutour white Céline three-quarter length coat. They burnt holes in the middle of the front arm. They tried to sew it unprofessionally, which was terrible and very, very noticeable and I told them they have to send it out to a professional, which there was nothing to be done. It was at a terrible place on the coat and would be seen by everyone. Mike the owner offered me $400 in store credit. I was so outraged because I would never ever use them again and I showed them pictures of the exact same coat and the price of it also being slightly used. He knows that all my clothes are Coutour. I have to take them to small claims court. I never heard of a dry cleaners not having any insurance if that is true or not, as told to me by the owner that he did not have insurance. Do not take anything that is couture or expensive to this dry cleaners or sure special items that are expensive and you do not care if it gets ruined or not. I will never go back to the dry cleaners, read more

Was hoping to have a great experience on a very simple stitching job, however I was surprised at the cost that was charged after the fact. Please get your quote up front. read more

I brought a couple of dress shirts to Royce cleaners because I wanted to get them cleaned. When I got there, I was greeted with a warm smile. The atmosphere is very clean and well-organized. The person at the counter asked me if there was anything else he could do for me when I dropped off my shirts. I kindly said that I'm good with just the dress shirts. When I came to pick up the shirts. The shirts were covered in a clear plastic covering. The person kindly gave it back to me and told me that If I ever needed to anything to let him know. I thanked them and went home. When I got home, my shirts looked like brand new. Royce Cleaners did an excellent jobs with my shirts and I highly recommend going to them. Definitely will come again! read more

Maryam did a great job with tailoring my pants. She was very pleasant and her expertise was helpful. They are very competitive with pricing. I recommend Royce Cleaners for cleaning clothes and tailoring. read more

Nice staff, quality cleaning. Everything was done one day before they quoted. Prices for shirts are great, dresses seemed expensive at $10 each. But overall it was convenient and they delivered the service. I will be back read more

Just found this place on yelp after my cleaners closed that i was going to for years. Very reasonably priced and very conveniant location.

I love this place. This husband and wife team are friendly and have a great sense of humor. The last two times I came in they had customers staying and talking! They do a great job on my clothes too. Be warned getting in and out of this tiny parking lot can be a challenge but it's worth it! read more

Royce Cleaners is by far the best dry-cleaners in Los Angeles. I've been to multiple dry-cleaners throughout the years. But, nothing compares to Royce Cleaners. Their customer service is beyond excellent and my clothes always come out fresh and clean. All my friends that I've recommended Royce Cleaners too, always thank me on me how incredible their service is. I know the owner personally and he always greets me with a warm smile and asks me what he can do. He really listens to what I have to say and gives me some really good advice on how to take care of my clothes. I'm very happy with Royce Cleaners and I'm always looking forward to bringing my clothes there. read more

My go-to cleaners. I compared prices with other spots and I feel they are competitive for the area. I've been going here for years and they do a great job. Kind. Professional. I'm happy with their services. Great at dry clean, wash and iron as well as any hemming I need. read more

This place is much more affordable than Rinse or Margaret's and they have a done a good job each time I go. I dropped off a pair of fabric shoes there and waited almost six months to pick them up - my wife thought they would be thrown away for sure. But there they were, waiting at the front, clean and looking sharp. read more

We've had a great experience here and the price is more reasonable than any other dry cleaner in the area. There is easy convenient parking in the front and what's even better is the frozen yogurt next door! read more

I was won over by Royce cleaners the moment I found out they use only non toxic products. And they have a two for one special on dry cleaning that runs all the time. The service is friendly and accommodating and they have always delivered on the date promised. I recommend going in the morning to avoid any parking problems. Not much more to say except that I wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

Still my cleaners after all these years. Great service with a timely turn around time. My clothes always come out looking new

This may have been my worst experience ever at a dry cleaners. When I went into pick up my cleaning and pay the bill, I noticed that it was $15.50 to dry clean a simple black cotton dress. I thought this was a bit high so I asked the lady and she said that I should have brought in two dresses, as it was the same price to dry clean two. I told her that when I brought in my cleaning it might have been nice if she had told me that since there is absolutely no posting of any prices or specials. So not a huge deal, but as I was walking to the car I had a strange feeling so I actually opened the cleaning to make sure everything was there. And not to my surprise, there was a shirt that was not mine and also my large custom cushion cover to the sofa was not there. I went back inside and the lady told me "they would have to look for my cushion cover and would call me later". She made it out to not be a big deal at all, meanwhile at home, my sofa is naked. After 5 days of calling, threatening, and even going back to the cleaners, the cushion cover magically appeared. When I asked if I could have a refund for the cost of the cushion cleaning do to all the trouble, they simply said "no". It was a horrible experience and I would seriously caution using this cleaners. read more

I went to this dry cleaners because it was convenient to my daily commute to work and because they had a "buy one get one free" special or something like that. I dropped off some business pants and blazers. Nothing got ruined, I picked up my items on time, the staff were courteous, although somewhat inpersonal, but I don't really care about that. My only complaint is that one of my blazers didn't smell as nicely and cleanly as I would've liked, since i just got it dry cleaned! I don't smoke, yet I'm afraid they washed that blazer in the same chemical dry-cleaning solution as some other people's stuff and it came out with a lingering smokey smell, yuck! Maybe they dumped too many items in the same solution, and instead of cleaning all the sweat/odors out, too much stuff just oversaturated the tub of people's clothes. I would give them another chance, but I've had much better cleaned clothes at other places. read more

About four years ago I switched my weekly dry Cleaning to Royce Cleaners and I have never looked back. Compared to all the other cleaners I have gone to in the past none have even come close to the amazing service and fair price over here. Their consistency must be applauded as my clothes are always perfectly cleaned and ready on time. In the past I have always had a problem getting my clothes tailored but ever since I switched to Royce Cleaners, they always hit the mark on my expectations. I can always rely on coming to a happy and helpful staff that works with me through all the problems I have in making my clothes fit and look amazing. Plus, Big Chill is right next door so you can do as I do and treat yourself after picking up your fresh and clean clothes! read more

Terrible experience. They ruined my expensive blouse and the owner was very rude about it. Maybe price is lower but is not worth to ruin your expensive clothes. read more

Terrible on every level. Brought in a blanket & other items at least three months ago for service. When I arrived to pick it up ON TIME, the proprietor gave me a blanket that wasn't mine among my other things. When I informed him, he looked at the ticket and told my I was wrong. Apparently I don't know what I own. I gave up arguing and left. Months later, said proprietor called to ask me when I was coming to pick up the blanket. Um, what? I explained I assumed it was lost but I would stop by. He assured me he had it up front. I returned and the woman behind the counter told me there was no such blanket. The male proprietor called again to ask me when I was coming by. Apparently, gaslighting customers is their thing. I finally retrieved the blanket - he charged me $25 which I already paid the first time I came by and then told me he wouldn't charge me for the other items - that I already picked up and paid for. Leave your stuff with this business at your peril! Also - I know this is not everyone's concern - but he was NOT wearing a mask. read more

I went there for the first time and what a horrible experience. Customer service was poor and they didn't have my clothes ready on time. They also "misplaced" a very expensive blouse and did not find it for a few days. I given a number of excuses as to why my items had not arrived back. I am will never go back! read more

Liar and a cheat who does not stand by his services. I took a pair of rag and bone jeans to Royce cleaner and check with the owner before submitting them for dry cleaning. After assuring me he could handle cleaning them they came back severely discolored. When I raised the issue he asked for the chance to fix it and assured me once more that if it was fixed he'd pay for a new pair. Low and behold he was unable to return the jeans to their correct color or condition. Instead of honoring his promise in any way he said it was not his fault and there was nothing he could do. This saga took well over a month. read more

This has become my fav dry cleaners on the Westside. It's very conveniently located at Westwood and Olympic. They always do a great job, and the prices are reasonable, especially with their two for one deal on dry cleaning. Been coming to Royce Cleaners for over 5 years ...never had a problem....shirts clean, suits clean, and sweaters clean....I recommend not parking in that parking lot cause getting in and out can be hard...lot of street parking east and west. read more

I was a regular customer. They lost 6 of my daughters dresses for 9 months, they kept telling me I already picked it up when I knew I hadn't ( gas lighting me) I live in a tiny house and it would be impossible to 'hide' that many dresses from someone intently looking for them. I even asked around other cleaners I had used in the past....Fast forward to last night I get a call to pick them up. I remind him that I asked about the dresses repeatedly for over 9 months now and he had insisted I picked them up. Not even an apology. AND he charged me full rate. At this point she's grown out of half of them. Never going back. read more

Don't even get me started. Let's just say you're better off going down Westwood to another dry cleaners who are much nicer, cheaper, have ample space for parking, and who do a better job at cleaning your clothes. Thanks Royce cleaners(owner) for the wonderful customer service you give (sarcastically speaking). read more

My former (and longtime) cleaners, Noble Cleaners, sadly closed this summer. They partnered with Royce Cleaners to return former clients dry cleaning to them. I travel a great deal and went to collect my dry cleaning but was disappointed to find out that Mike, the owner, had no clue what happened to my clothes. He went to the back, came back to me and said he had nothing under my name. Most importantly he really did not seem concerned. The girl who works in the front was very nice and attentive. When I locked my keys in the car she left the store and walked next door to ask her friend if he would call AAA to help me out. Now THATS customer service! I hope the owner learns a lesson from her kind gestures. I will not patronize this dry cleaners. read more

Never go here. They charged me a fortune and never even tailored my clothes properly. This place is a huge scam and I'm demanding a refund. Can't believe they charged me for tailoring, didn't even touch one item and destroyed another one. read more

I feel like I finally found a dry cleaning place that doesn't rip me off! Very fair prices for everything from dry cleaning to tailoring. The staff is super friendly always, my clothes come out super clean and always on time, and it's next door to Big Chill for frozen yogurt so it's always a great time picking up / dropping off my dry cleaning. I've been going here for 6 months now and I've been kept happy, hence this review. Thank you Royce Cleaners! read more

Very unprofessional, they ruined my jacket that I sent for dry cleaning. Don't waste your time and money.

ok I know my rating doesn't count cause I work here. I also know as a consumer to other stores that we demand perfection when it comes to us and when it is not given we get upset and most times we are just upset do to how our working day has been. I know it doesn't justify the employees but I isn't right for customers to be rude like when we say hi at least have the courtesy to say hi back when we tell you your total don't toss the money/check, and cc at us cause we don't do it to u , we never curse at you for a misunderstanding what we have explained to you. and we never pull thing out of your hands. So please next time you have a complain talk to us we understand as fellow consumer if it isn't done correctly the second time then we would understand if you are upset. Also on stains not all are removable and it doesn't mean we didn't clean it , it means the garment can be damaged when they spot the garment. read more

I've been a long time customer of Royce Cleaners for over 9 years and have only had positive dealings with them and its owner Mike, despite some of the other reviews I've read on here.
