Stay away!!!! Royce Cleaners totally ruined my $1900 Coutour white Céline three-quarter length coat. They burnt holes in the middle of the front arm. They tried to sew it unprofessionally, which was terrible and very, very noticeable and I told them they have to send it out to a professional, which there was nothing to be done. It was at a terrible place on the coat and would be seen by everyone. Mike the owner offered me $400 in store credit. I was so outraged because I would never ever use them again and I showed them pictures of the exact same coat and the price of it also being slightly used. He knows that all my clothes are Coutour. I have to take them to small claims court. I never heard of a dry cleaners not having any insurance if that is true or not, as told to me by the owner that he did not have insurance. Do not take anything that is couture or expensive to this dry cleaners or sure special items that are expensive and you do not care if it gets ruined or not. Brought a travel backpack to be fixed here: the travel backpack has 2 zippers for the main compartment to open sideways like a suitcase. One of the zippers popped off and wouldn't zip properly, rendering the backpack somewhat useless because you can't open the backpack from the top. The first time I took this backpack here, they fixed it. Backpack works like new again! Same issue happened again, and I took it back thinking they could fix again. I picked up the backpack and returned home to find that they did NOT fix the backpack, they instead only REMOVED the loose zipper. Meaning I only had one zipper on the main compartment, the one that you have to open from the very bottom. Which is silly, because you'd never be able to open the backpack upright without things falling out. So I took it back. I mentioned they didn't fix it, though they did before, and that a zipper is now missing. The lady tried telling me that maybe I had pulled it off by pulling too hard. Definitely not, as I only received it with one zipper. They took it back again to see if they have the missing zipper. I picked up the backpack again, the zipper is fixed! Great. Except now that I'm traveling do I notice that they did NOT give back my original zipper NOR did they replace. They REMOVED a zipper from another pocket of my backpack to put on the main compartment. I am no longer able to use the pocket they removed the zipper from. Crazy that they charged me to "fix" a zipper by removing one of the other functionalities of my backpack, without even asking. read more

I brought a couple of dress shirts to Royce cleaners because I wanted to get them cleaned. When I got there, I was greeted with a warm smile. The atmosphere is very clean and well-organized. The person at the counter asked me if there was anything else he could do for me when I dropped off my shirts. I kindly said that I'm good with just the dress shirts. When I came to pick up the shirts. The shirts were covered in a clear plastic covering. The person kindly gave it back to me and told me that If I ever needed to anything to let him know. I thanked them and went home. When I got home, my shirts looked like brand new. Royce Cleaners did an excellent jobs with my shirts and I highly recommend going to them. I dropped off a pair of fabric shoes there and waited almost six months to pick them up - my wife thought they would be thrown away for sure. This may have been my worst experience ever at a dry cleaners. When I went into pick up my cleaning and pay the bill, I noticed that it was $15.50 to dry clean a simple black cotton dress. I thought this was a bit high so I asked the lady and she said that I should have brought in two dresses, as it was the same price to dry clean two. I told her that when I brought in my cleaning it might have been nice if she had told me that since there is absolutely no posting of any prices or specials. So not a huge deal, but as I was walking to the car I had a strange feeling so I actually opened the cleaning to make sure everything was there. And not to my surprise, there was a shirt that was not mine and also my large custom cushion cover to the sofa was not there. I went back inside and the lady told me "they would have to look for my cushion cover and would call me later". She made it out to not be a big deal at all, meanwhile at home, my sofa is naked. After 5 days of calling, threatening, and even going back to the cleaners, the cushion cover magically appeared. When I asked if I could have a refund for the cost of the cushion cleaning do to all the trouble, they simply said "no". It was a horrible experience and I would seriously caution using this cleaners. read more

Compared to all the other cleaners I have gone to in the past none have even come close to the amazing service and fair price over here. Their consistency must be applauded as my clothes are always perfectly cleaned and ready on time. Terrible on every level. Brought in a blanket & other items at least three months ago for service. When I arrived to pick it up ON TIME, the proprietor gave me a blanket that wasn't mine among my other things. When I informed him, he looked at the ticket and told my I was wrong. Apparently I don't know what I own. I gave up arguing and left. Months later, said proprietor called to ask me when I was coming to pick up the blanket. Um, what? I explained I assumed it was lost but I would stop by. He assured me he had it up front. I returned and the woman behind the counter told me there was no such blanket. The male proprietor called again to ask me when I was coming by. Apparently, gaslighting customers is their thing. I finally retrieved the blanket - he charged me $25 which I already paid the first time I came by and then told me he wouldn't charge me for the other items - that I already picked up and paid for. Leave your stuff with this business at your peril! Also - I know this is not everyone's concern - but he was NOT wearing a mask. read more

I went to this dry cleaners because it was convenient to my daily commute to work and because they had a "buy one get one free" special or something like that. I dropped off some business pants and blazers. Nothing got ruined, I picked up my items on time, the staff were courteous, although somewhat inpersonal, but I don't really care about that. My only complaint is that one of my blazers didn't smell as nicely and cleanly as I would've liked, since i just got it dry cleaned! I don't smoke, yet I'm afraid they washed that blazer in the same chemical dry-cleaning solution as some other people's stuff and it came out with a lingering smokey smell, yuck! Maybe they dumped too many items in the same solution, and instead of cleaning all the sweat/odors out, too much stuff just oversaturated the tub of people's clothes. I would give them another chance, but I've had much better cleaned clothes at other places. read more

Liar and a cheat who does not stand by his services. I took a pair of rag and bone jeans to Royce cleaner and check with the owner before submitting them for dry cleaning. After assuring me he could handle cleaning them they came back severely discolored. When I raised the issue he asked for the chance to fix it and assured me once more that if it was fixed he'd pay for a new pair. Low and behold he was unable to return the jeans to their correct color or condition. Instead of honoring his promise in any way he said it was not his fault and there was nothing he could do. They lost 6 of my daughters dresses for 9 months, they kept telling me I already picked it up when I knew I hadn't ( gas lighting me) I live in a tiny house and it would be impossible to 'hide' that many dresses from someone intently looking for them. My former (and longtime) cleaners, Noble Cleaners, sadly closed this summer. They partnered with Royce Cleaners to return former clients dry cleaning to them. I travel a great deal and went to collect my dry cleaning but was disappointed to find out that Mike, the owner, had no clue what happened to my clothes. He went to the back, came back to me and said he had nothing under my name. Most importantly he really did not seem concerned. The girl who works in the front was very nice and attentive. When I locked my keys in the car she left the store and walked next door to ask her friend if he would call AAA to help me out. Now THATS customer service! I also know as a consumer to other stores that we demand perfection when it comes to us and when it is not given we get upset and most times we are just upset do to how our working day has been. I know it doesn't justify the employees but I isn't right for customers to be rude like when we say hi at least have the courtesy to say hi back when we tell you your total don't toss the money/check, and cc at us cause we don't do it to u , we never curse at you for a misunderstanding what we have explained to you. and we never pull thing out of your hands. So please next time you have a complain talk to us we understand as fellow consumer if it isn't done correctly the second time then we would understand if you are upset. Also on stains not all are removable and it doesn't mean we didn't clean it , it means the garment can be damaged when they spot the garment. read more

Don't waste your time here. I called in and they told me that wash and fold was 1.25 a pound. After going to pick up my clothes they ring me up for $26. I proceeded to ask the lady how much it all weighed because that sounded like way tand she had no clue so she had to call the owner. The owner was gracious enough to give me a whole $5 off bringing the total down to the outrageous price of $21 for some laundry. I think he just made up a price. this is absolutely my favorite cleaner of choice in the area - and i've tried a few. they always do an excellent job and the prices are very reasonable (there is a perpetual two for one dry cleaning special, so make sure you bring two of everything otherwise it's not as a good of a deal). i hate hawking dry cleaning coupons so the fact that their out the door prices are pretty fair is a thumbs up from me. if your garment needs particular attention, be sure to point it out to them, otherwise it might not come out as clean as you want. they also offer tailoring and shoe repair service, but i've never tried either. turnaround is pretty quick, and the owner is super nice. i have to dock them one star because the parking lot is absolutely ATROCIOUS. difficult to get in and out, usually full and packed with angry aggressive la drivers. i even got rear ended here once. all in all adds alot of stress to an otherwise mundane errand. avoid going during traffic hour if you can. read more

Last time I went, I cleaned 8 pieces of clothing for just $35, including dresses, dress pants, and thick sweaters. The best part is that they use eco-friendly cleaning processes. WOW. I have never been somewhere with such horrible customer service in my life! First off, they lost 3 of my shirts and denied it and wouldn't give me the money back for them or compensate me in ANY way. Second, I took a coat there with a furr hood to get washed. I noticed something was missing when I got it back... I realized it was the hood! When I told them my hood had been missing from my coat they told me that they didn't have time to check for until until ONE WEEK LATER!!! After bugging them non stop, they agreed to look for it and finally found it. As I was going to pick it up, I called them to let them know I would be there 5 minutes before they close and I wanted to make Sure they would wait for me. The lady on the phone was rude and said yes and hung up on me. I got there exactly 5 minutes before they closed to see that they closed the store NOR was anyone there when the lady specifically told me they would be there. Overall, stay away.
