Thought of trying out some other service pickup and dropoff but reviews of customers reporting missing or damaged items kept me away from those services. Would not risk an expensive designer tux and nice suits and blazers go "missing"! Dropped off on a Friday early afternoon and was guaranteed ready for pickup after 5pm on following Monday. Delivered as promise. Much appreciated as it was needed for travel the next day. And the nice lady also advised to keep the suits and blazers on the wire hangers for packing and avoid wrinkles. Howard and his business do not value customer loyalty. It's unfortunate but true. I thought I was a valued customer, one that frequently got his suits and shirts dry cleaned over the past four years. However, a month or so ago I had a hole in my suit pants that Howard fixed for me. However, the next time I wore the pants (about 3 weeks later) the same hole popped back open. When I got back from my business trip I took the suit pants back to Crest hoping they'd sew it back up for free. I thought as a valued customer they would save me from paying $5 again. However, Howard's associate told me "the window of time was too long" and that I could have worn the pants multiple times. They chose not to believe me, a loyal 4 year long customer. For some reason, they think dry cleaning has to be worn immediately after being cleaned. Long story short, there are tons of dry cleaners in this area and it's not worth going here if you are not going to be treated appropriately. read more

The new owners are terrible. They ruined a $300 designer sweater that I've had for literally 7-8 years and I am devastated. They left a fade/burn mark that wasn't there when I dropped it off. When I returned to show them the mark, the owner refused to accept responsibility. Instead he pointed out all the flaws of the sweater, said I waited too long to bring it back (1 week), that I didn't bring it back in the original dry cleaning package, there was no proof that they did it, blah blah. They offered no consolation, no discount off a future cleaning, no refund, nothing. The owner was very unprofessional in my opinion- not a way to treat loyal customers who have been going there 10 years. I won't trust them again with my clothing. I dropped off 9 dress shirts for drycleaning and 5 of them came back dirty. All of the shirts looked pressed but were still clearly unclean. I also found stains on some shirts that appear to have been applied externally or were residual traces of the drycleaning solvent. They even hung a little placard on top of one of my shirts stating that they did their best to clean the stains but were unsuccessful and further cleanings would damage the garment. None of my shirts had any troublesome stains and were only dirty from regular wear. None of these issues were explained to me when I picked up my shirts a week later. I brought the shirts back to be cleaned again. The lady in the front desk examined them with a display of shock and promised me multiple times that they "will try" to clean my shirts. She also asked for another week. I thought that since they charge $4.50 per shirt, trying to clean the shirts would be a given. I thought not. I picked up my shirts in the morning yesterday and was greeted by an older Asian man whom I presume is the owner. I didn't say a single word while I waited for him to collect my shirts but I guess he saw the $0 cost on my ticket, assumed correctly that I requested another cleaning, and launched into a long excuse about how they as the dry cleaners do whatever they can to clean their garments but, and I quote verbatim, "we can't make everything new so what do you want us to do?" I responded that I don't expect him to make them new, but I do expect him to make them CLEAN. This got under his skin and he told me to check everything thoroughly before leaving. I understand that mistakes happen but this person went out of his way that morning to start an argument with me, which in my opinion, only acted as an admission of guilt. Almost $500 worth of tailored and brand-name shirts were ruined because of this establishment's ineptitude and sloppiness. read more

The new owner is terrible and very defensive. He ruined a $200 linen curtain by both shrinking it by 8 inches and staining it with pink dye all over. When I called him, he was VERY defensive which was the worst part of the experience. Instead of accepting the fact that he ruined it, and replacing the curtain, he tried to blame me for the pink stains which were not there when I brought it in for cleaning and telling me he could stretch it out! He denied any wrong doing on his part. It clearly says dry clean only and he washed it. I let him stretch it out and he removed the stains that he put in it but it is still 4" short. Then, he said he would make the other one the same size. Well, the other one ended up being shorter than the first one! He eventually payed me for one but not both of them but not after much back and forth and much negative energy. Do not use this cleaners! read more

I decided to try this cleaners on Sepulveda and palms for the first time to bring in a mesh laundry bag that I had that I wanted to have a handle put onto the back of the laundry bag so that I can hang it up on my bathroom door on a hook. I seriously love this place. Man not only is it inexpensive, but the customer service is top notch. The people, especially the owner, bends over backwards for his clientele. Within two visits, he began to recognize me and within a couple more visits, remembered that I do not like the plastic covering that accompanies the clothes when they've been laundered. I've brought my boss' shirts here and her blouses get pretty crazy, bcuz we work in a restaurant. Well, I mention the stains and he was on it. He meticulously inspected each shirt and marked "targeted" areas before he put the shirts in the bag. Now, ladies, you have to help me on this one, but I paid about $5 per blouse. But I'll tell ya what, man, those shirts came back immaculate. Even those so-called "set" grease spots that the other cleaners said could not be removed...yep...gone ! So maybe that Lincoln price tag wasn't as steep as I initially thought, but verdict is still out...is $5 too much for a blouse? Well, this place did wonders with my boss' shirts, has great customer service, and is considerably pretty cheap...well for men's shirts that is. Sorry, guys. I was disappointed in Crest Cleaners. Usually, a 4 and a half stars on Yelp is a guaranteed home run, but I was left thinking CC was just ok. The turn around time is not nearly as quick as I'd like (drop off Friday, pick up Tuesday?), which is really inconvenient when you travel for business. My main gripe with Crest is their machine pressing on shirts for guys presses these really annoying wrinkles into the armpit area of a dress shirt. I know, I know, I should stop being cheap and just spring for the hand press (which is like fo' dollars or something), but that's the first time that I've seen that. It sucks to have a shirt that's perfectly pressed, except for when you lift your arms and it looks like you're a Lubriderm commercial on that part of your arm or that you're too lazy to press that part. It wasn't just on one shirt, but it was on four, which makes me think that it's just accepted as the norm over there. Friendly peeps, but the pressing was a deal breaker for me because I'm pretty good at ironing and i get shirts pressed out of laziness and it would be nice to have it done correctly. read more

When I moved to West LA, I wanted to find a dry cleaners that can do a good job without costing too much money. So I found this place based off of fellow Yelpers' reviews. The man at the counter was nice. They offer a free rewards card program where they log all the transactions you've spent, and after you spend a particular amount, you'll earn "cash back" that you can use on your next transaction. How much I spent: -Shirts $4.50 -Scarf $4.50 -Wool coat $12 -Sweaters $4.90 -Two piece suit $9.90 I guess not bad, but I think I can get a better deal somewhere else. This place is located in the same plaza as the CVS and Trader Joe's on Palms/Sepulveda. Yay for free parking, but can be a challenge on the weekends. read more

This cleaners is by far the best dry cleaners on the west side of L.A., IMHO. The owner/operator (Leo) is always at the premise, usually taking in cleaning and handing out finished garments. He is a serious minded, no nonsense, honest, accommodating, personable and professional businessman. He really bends over backwards to help his customers. The few times I've had to wait while one or two customers were ahead of me, I've watched as he has handled what were obviously difficult, surly or rude customers with the most gentile, patient air. Howard and his team are friendly and professional. They greet me by name when I walk in the door and have the last four numbers of my phone number memorized so that they can quickly draw up my account. They are very thorough with cleaning and make sure to examine each item of clothing that I drop off and flag any spots or damage they see before starting the job. They've also helped me out in emergencies when I had to rush dry clean something... they pushed it to the head of the line without batting an eyelash. Very grateful for these guys! read more

I brought in a pair of pants that they had failed to remove the stain from, and not only did they refuse to re-clean them, but the owner YELLED at me and basically accused me of trying to get free dry cleaning because I couldn't "prove" I had gotten the pants cleaned there. I just started coming here 5 months ago. I started slow until I could trust them. A few generic shirts grew to my girlfriends Egyptian cotton sheets and Belgian linens. I have concluded this is the best dry cleaner on the West side. The owner/operators are super cool. I've entrusted them to dry clean designer jeans (why does that sound so 80's?), suits, and coats...I'm very happy with the quick, high-quality turnaround. I took a piece in that I had wore one time. When I took it out of the plastic it was ripped up like they cleaned it with a food processor. When I brought it back to them they claimed that I ripped it and they would never clean a shirt that looked like that. Thats cause when I gave it to them it did not look like that. So other than having a $70 shirt completely ruined I also got laughed at and called a liar by these crooks. I hope nobody ever has to deal with such a mockery as this. read more

I've been to this place a few times now for dry cleaning and absolutely love them. The service is very polite, professional, and accommodating. They always try to meet my timeline in a reasonable manner and my clothes always come back squared away and on point. The prices are very affordable. The only problem is the parking as pointed at by many others. It shares a parking lot with a few other business including a Trader Joe's which always seems to be busy at all times of the day. *sarcasm* I joke because I come to this plaza often and it's always a hassle to find parking 9 times out of 10. I can't say I ever used their services... but this review will explain why... I called to get pricing on a dress alteration. The man who answered was a bit rude over the phone and said he couldn't give any prices until he saw the dress. Although I understood that the price could vary, he wouldn't even let me speak w/the woman who does alterations to provide a general range (minimum, maximum, possibilities, anything?) of the cost. I can tell you that the next place I called happily quoted me with a range ($25-35) when I gave the information on the material and area in which I need adjusted... even if it was a rough estimate. That's all I asked for from Crest Cleaners, but whatever... they did not get my business. Nor will they ever in the future. Bottom Line - They might be good when you're there (per the positive3 yelp reviews), but they definitely aren't getting my business due to their lack of customer service skills over the phone. read more

This is such a great family-run business. The owners seem to be working all day everyday. I can't even begin to tell you how many times I forgot to drop something off until the very last minute, and they did not charge me extra for overnight cleaning! They have gotten dirt, dog hair, juice, grease, and lots of other stains and annoyances out of my clothes. They have also spruced up some gently worn items I bought at thrift stores or off the clearance rack. I love how cheap dry cleaning is! Said no one ever. Dry cleaning is one of those necessities that you love and hate. Love because my clothes are looking so fresh and so clean afterward. Hate because it cost an exorbitant amount of $$ just to clean clothes. Let's be real, I'm used to doing laundry for a dollar each cycle. To be honest, I've never taken my clothes to the dry cleaners prior to my 24 years of life. That would explain all my terribly stained blazers and washed out slacks. Here I am, 24 year old me, realizing that 1. I should probably invest in some quality clothes, 2. there is no way I can get that oil stain out of my dress and 3. I don't have the time, let me just goddamn pay somebody to do this for me. So in comes Crest Cleaners, which is conveniently located across from TJ's where I get all my food and beer needs, another necessity. This place can be pretty pricey. $4.90 for a pair of pants and $9.80 for a dress is no joke. However, these people are top-notch. They remember you. They remember your clothes. They go through each clothing item with you to discuss what needs to be done. They hemmed one pair of dress pants for me perfectly. And they are courteous and look like they genuinely enjoy their job. If you're in need of your items quick, this place delivers--just give them what time you need your items by. What I appreciate most about this place is when I came in with a white motorcycle jacket that specifically said "no dry cleaning" and asked if they could do anything to remove a few pen marks I accidentally made and they didn't try to sell me their laundry services or convince me to dry clean it. They told me it just needed a good scrub and some TLC to get the stain out. Lo and behold, I worked on this jacket for the better half of a day and got the stains out without pawning it off to some shady cleaning place that would've otherwise terrorized it. The only pitfall is the god awful parking. It shares its lot with TJ's, a hair salon, Beard Papa's, and some other random places. Nightmare to park if you only need a quick in-n-out run to drop off/pick up your dry cleaning. People (myself included) have parked in the "No Parking" area and gotten away with it. read more

There are about 500 dry cleaners in the Palms area, but this is really the The One. I gave Crest a chance based solely on their stellar Yelp reviews and they did not disappoint. I brought in three different pieces and the owner went through each item with me explaining whether I should dry clean or not. Turned out some of my items were better off being hand washed saving me some extra dinero and guaranteeing Crest my return business. I so appreciate an honest business owner who looks out for the well being of their customer. Having just moved the area, I needed a reputable cleaner -- these darn LA people dress so much better than what I'm used to. Anyway, I turned to trusty Yelp and tried out Crest Cleaners to dry clean my first week of work shirts. The owner is great, they do all the cleaning in house so you get fast turnarounds and low prices. It's definitely cheaper and faster than my old cleaner, yet the quality is the same. In addition to the already attractive basics, they have a point card system where you can accumulate a point for every item you have dry cleaned. When you reach some amount, you can redeem your points for any service they offer -- laundering, pressing, or more dry cleaning. Seems nice for something you'd be doing anyway. Finally, I like that they're an eco-friendly cleaner. I'll be coming here from now on. read more

Long story short: got a suit and a tux dry cleaned, next day. the price was not only cheaper than the competition, but there was no additional for the next day service (that's probably common but it just made me happy) the people there were efficiently nice (no like real smiles or anything, but just ready to serve, and good at serving). my suit and tux felt amazing. it's one of those all natural (or at least, more or less natural) places and so the material just feels so much better. and there was no stapling little tags on my stuff either which I appreciate a lot. perfect. read more

absolutely love this place. i went there on a whim because it was really close to our apartment. the man that helped me (the owner perhaps?) was incredibly friendly, thorough in explaining what service cost what, counted my items 3 times to show me how much it would all cost and confirmed it with me several times before giving me a receipt. i absolutely loved that. i loved how he was trying to help me as a customer understand what was going to happen, how he would clean the clothes and why it was costing x amount. originally he gave me a 1 week timeline but i told him i needed it in 2 days. he was COMPLETELY accommodating and even counted the items for me again when I picked it all up. Crest Cleaners also has a rewards card that gives us a bigger incentive to keep going back to them and not shop around! Parking is incredibly easy since it shares a lot with trader joe's and CVS. Went here to get some cloths cleaned and a few shirts altered. The cleaning went well and was expensive but at least it was reasonable. My issue came with the alterations that were done. The owner would not give me a direct price for getting some shirts altered, he simply said it would be either 8 dollars if the tailor worked on the back of the shirt or 12 if the tailor worked on the sides. He then told me to come back in a week and left the bill blank so he could add the actual price later. I went back in to pick them up and he decides the prices are now 16 for alterations to the back and 23 for alterations to the sides and basically doubled everything. There wasn't much I could do at that point, so I payed and left. It wouldn't have been that big of an issue, but I gave him 8 shirts to alter and that increase added up quite a bit. If you're getting your cloths altered, don't accept this price range game they play. read more
