I have been going to Palm Cleaners for probably over 10 years now. They are my local friendly neighborhood cleaner. Eric is such a great guy. He's very detail oriented and consistent. I have never had a problem with any coat, jacket, tuxedo, shirt - they come back clean and well-pressed, and he is often able to get out very tough stains, like in my son's school shirts. My ski jacket is ruined. He promised me he would follow instructions and now this ski jacket can't be used again. He only cared about getting a spot out. Also was rushed out and that jacket was clearly hidden in the middle so I couldn't inspect it. With what I got back clearly my directions were ignored. My normal location I used for over 10 years has a new person and they were unsure of what to do so I trusted a word of mouth recommendation which unfortunately did not go as planned. i have been to this business a few times over the years to have clothing items altered and hemmed. no fancy footwork, just very simple hemming. they are a mom and pop shop and i believe that the gentleman who has helped me is the owner. he's soft spoken and kind. i have called other businesses to obtain quotes and this place has always given me the best price, as well as the fastest service (under a week). i definitely plan to use them the next time i need a hemming or alteration! read more

I'm bummed that I have to write this review, but I will no longer be going to Palms Cleaners. Pricing is mostly fair, garments can take a while to clean, but the biggest issue is that the owner is difficult to work with if you challenge him. He gaslighted both me and my dad after questioning stains that remained on two separate garments saying they weren't there (when they were obviously still on both). I would prefer for someone to say "I really tried but I couldn't get this stain out" instead of making me feel crazy saying what I'm seeing is false. That's just bad business. Will take my business elsewhere. read more

To heck with this place. I don't know about what Lena experienced -- and the fact that she only wrote one review, and it was for this place, is maybe telling -- but this place is horrible, and I will never be going back there. First of all, the first time I brought something in there, it was late coming back. No problem, right, that happens sometimes. But though they had my number, they didn't bother calling or texting -- I just showed up at the time on the ticket, and they said, "Oh, sorry, come back tomorrow." Lateness is fine, but lateness and not caring about it, particularly when making a first impression, is not OK. No offer of a discount, no nothing -- just a "tough luck, we screwed up, we don't care if you never come back." Why would I bring them my business again? Well, I won't. read more

I called and they picked up right away, which is more than I can say about the other cleaners in the area. I was quoted prices over the phone. When I showed up, there was no line and he had my information in his system from the last time I was there. I think the person who helped me on the phone and in person was the owner. I was told to come back two days later. Again, no line, quick service, in and out. I'm very happy with the cleaning as well. Quick service, friendly owner, no hassle, and the prices seem fair. I must tell a story about Palms Cleaners. I was getting ready to leave for Japan on a redeye one night, and I got distracted and forgot to pick up my clothes at Palms Cleaners until 6:59, a minute before they close. No time to look up the number and call them, I sprinted the 2 blocks to the store and was dismayed to see the lights off. I was facing a two-week business trip with no clean shirts!! But just as I was about to give up hope, I spotted the proprietor walking across the parking lot to her car. I flagged her down, and she walked back with me, re-opened the store, turned off the alarm, and got my clothes for me! Of course they were done just right as usual. I have been going here for years... lately, it has not been good. Missed spots not cleaned. missed holes that I wanted sewn up, hems coming undone. press marks(close to being singed) on a vest. My wife dropped off a racing singlet that I needed for the LA Marathon. It was a little big so it needed to be brought in so it would fit me. Not only did they do an awesome sewing job, they got the size just right and even went the extra step to find the exact color thread to match this neon color singlet. They really go above and beyond here. I had a small hole in my favorite, very delicate dress, and the hole was sewn up perfectly when I picked up my items. I didn't request this, they did it free of charge, and wouldn't let me pay extra when I offered. Also kept another favorite shirt longer to remove stains. Yet again, free of charge. By far the nicest management I've ever met. Walked in and asked if they would consider giving me a discount if I planned to be a biweekly customer. Gave me 20% off right then and there. Remembered my name when I came back 2 days later, and has continued to do so after a handful of visits. They had my 9 pairs of pants done on time and just to my liking. I will definitely be returning and I will recommend this cleaners to anyone who enjoys feeling like their business is appreciate and who wants a nice dry cleaning job done on their items. read more

I have never taken the time to write a yelp review before, however this place necessitates one. They always do a wonderful job with my clothes, are fairly priced, my things are always ready on time, and they consistently go the extra mile customer service wise. One time, I brought in a sweater that had a little hole in the collar, and when I got it back they had sewed it without me even pointing it out beforehand. They are such a friendly couple and treat returning customers very well. Love this place. read more

Have been taking my designer designer clothes to palms for years (chloe, helmut, donna, dolce, lanvin)... they are super reasonable and get the most horrendous stains out every time. Alterations are also exceptional. Perfect, perfect, perfect. read more
