My husband and I have been going to VIP cleaners for the past 2 years. After moving to the area, we have not found a place that will do quality dry clean, fast and professional service, and alterations at such fair prices...until we found VIP! We are so happy that VIP is located so close to us. The owner is very skilled and friendly- he always remembers us when we visit too. Highly recommend! read more

Tang is a skilled and erudite cleaning specialist who always knows how to properly clean clothing based on their fabric materials and care tags. All of my clothing requiring extra special care, such as my silk, woolen, and polyester clothing goes to VIP Cleaners for dry cleaning, pressing, and stain removals. They are relatively inexpensive and affordable compared to other dry cleaners on the Westside. Pictures supplementing this review feature a Chrome Hearts shirt, Chrome Hearts leather patch beanie, and Maison Margiela jacket, all of which were dropped off today, Monday, with a turnaround pickup date of Friday. I'd consider this fast service for these delicate items, and historically Tang has always done a phenomenal job in his work (for my Bottega Veneta wool jacket, and other Chrome Hearts items, as examples). read more

I took in my brand-new business dress for alterations. Dress is flowy and had back slightly longer than front so when they made it shorter they made back side and front even, so now when I wear it the back looks shorter than the front. Paid $30 to get my $100 dress ruined and the only way to fix it is to make it even shorter which is impossible since it is already short. Make sure to double check and triple check your order. Remember he doesn't do everything himself, he he outsources cleaning, alterations, and other services. read more

These folks are so friendly and do such quality work! I'm a big fan. I'm dressing more casually for work now so I don't drop off as much, but Tang remembers my name every time and couldn't be more delightful. I'm grateful for them. read more

My whole family goes to Mr. Tang for their alterations. He always does a great job and I've never had a problem. I think his price is fair for considering today's economy. They also do dry cleaning here! I definitely recommend this place for alterations and dry cleaning read more

Excellent alterations! Fast cleaning! Came here to alter my rehearsal dinner dress and several other summer dresses, along with cleaning two gowns. Really excellent customer service and the alterations were perfect and very reasonably priced! read more

Mr. Tang is the best manager. So friendly and great with kids. He has good prices and is my favorite dry cleaner ever. Give him a chance. Always a smile and great service! read more

I went here to get measured for my suit that I needed because I recently lost a bunch of weight. The measurements were spot on to the point where no tailoring was even needed. I have also gotten zippers fixed here for a backpack, as well as clothes fluff and folded, and of course dress shirts dry cleaned. The customer service is top notch as the owner always asks how you are doing when you come in. I totally recommend VIP Cleaners even if you don't live/work nearby. read more

I've been going to VIP cleaners for over a year now. Tang is such an incredibly kind man who is so helpful and extremely professional. He is my go-to for alterations and dry cleaning. Quick turn around on alterations and cleaning, pricing is great and the quality is out of this world. LA needs more amazing small businesses like this! read more

Can not say enough good things about Mr.tang. Prices are fair, takes care of his clients, and overall great guy. Moved away and still drove 30 minutes just to dry clean here. Highly recommend for any dry cleaning and alteration needs read more

UPDATE- after 6 months and going through insurance, Im still not able to get half my money back for my destroyed wedding dress. According to the insurance and Mr. Tang, I was supposed to get cash back for the other half of the dress cost..but again, Mr Tang failed to deliver his promise. Photos are attached of the emails from insurance stating that Mr Tang would pay his half of the cost ONLY IF I REMOVE MY REVIEWS AND HAVE OTHER REVIEWS REMOVED FROM BBB. Not only is Mr. Tang a DISHONEST and UNTRUSTWORTHY business man, he also THREATENS CUSTOMERS TO REMOVE REVIEWS. Mr. Tang had the audacity to give out my personal information to strangers and have them HARASSING ME ABOUT REMOVING MY NEGATIVE REVIEWS. One gentleman especially named Harold. I thought it was strange that Harold had written a review about Mr. Tang right around the time that Mr. Tang destroyed my dress. I only remembered this because just this month, Harold has been calling, texting and leaving me voicemail and messages about me removing my reviews about Mr. Tang (PHOTOS ATTACHED OF THE VOICEMAILS, TEXT MESSAGES, PHONE CALLS) He insisted that every negative review that was on Mr. Tang's page was connected to me and proceeded to HARASS ME and told me that they were all my friends and that I needed to remove the reviews.. They even went as far as writing a letter and making me sign it, I advised him that this is not what we had discussed with the insurance company (PHOTO OF LETTER THEY TRIED TO MAKE ME SIGN). Mr. Tang even had customers who walked in that were trying to pick up their dry clean involved, having them as witness of wanting my signature on his letter. I would rather keep my AUTHENTIC REVIEW TO SHOW OTHERS THE TRUTH THAN TO BE THREANTED TO REMOVE MY REVIEW OR EVEN PAID OFF BY THIS DISHONEST MAN. MR. TANG BRINGS SHAME TO THE DRY CLEANING BUSINESS AND NEVER EVER TRUST YOUR WEDDING DRESS WITH HIM UNLESS YOU WANT IT SHREDDED UP AND COMPLETELY DESTROYED! read more

Mr Tang and his wife are always friendly and welcoming. I've been in here a few times for dry cleaning and alteration services. Prices are very reasonable and my clothes have always looked great after I bring them here. They were also able to accommodate an alteration that I needed on short notice before a trip. Would highly recommend for dry cleaning/alterations on the west side. read more

Mr. Tang and VIP Cleaners is the BEST place for dry cleaning & alterations. I've know him since I became a flight attendant back in 2014. I recently got based back in LA from Texas and he still remembered me after 7 years. He not only provides amazing customer service but he really cares about your clothes but YOU also as a human being. He treats you like family. His attention to detail is superb when it comes to alterations & dry cleaning. I would give him more than 5 stars if I could! Thank you for making me always look my best in my uniforms. I wish nothing but more success ! read more

Great service! Owner makes sure you get what you need. I do dry cleaning and alterations there. The cleaners is tucked away in the corner, but there is plenty of free parking. read more

BEST drycleaning experience ever! Their pricing is pretty reasonable and my items always turn out great. Tang is always really nice. I've gone to him to hem a bridesmaid dress, for dry-cleaning, and he even added fabric to 7 of my husband's dress pants that didn't fit him anymore. The pants fit him really nicely again and you can't even tell that fabric was added. Highly recommend this place! read more

I came here with the same laundry that I brought to big waves, for fluff and fold, and had a much better experience. The customer service here is worth the slightly extra price! read more

Hands down the absolute best cleaners I've ever been to. So friendly and responsive and they do such a great job. Quality work. Thank you so much. read more

I have been a regular here for a while. Mr. Tang is not only very professional and courteous as a businessman but one of the nicest people I've met-both him and his wife and staff that work there. It's become a ritual twice a week now to drop off and pick up my drycleaning, and one I look forward to. Wishing nothing but the best and continued success, especially now, for Mr. Tang and his family. read more

My go-to place in the whole city for dry cleaning and custom alterations. Mr. Tang is always kind, courteous, sweet, and professional. He has successfully cleaned garments of mine from high-end fashion houses, as well as delicate fabrics in vintage pieces. He makes every piece I bring him sparkle like I just bought it! He has restored really difficult rips and tears in my clothing to their original non-ripped condition through careful sewing and alterations. Overall, I am truly overjoyed that I've found this business and couldn't recommend it more highly! I bring him clothes to clean and tailor every week and haven't EVER been disappointed with his service. There is a reason why his reviews are overwhelmingly POSITIVE. Disregard that hateful woman Tessia who wrote a horrible review for this place despite receiving compensation for her damaged garment. Please support Mr. Tang & his wonderful business. read more

Mr. Tang has the BEST customer service, hands down. He knows all of his customers by name and the quality of the dry cleaning is always exceptional. He is always so friendly to my kids and always offers them snacks -- it's to the point where my kids actually ask me "Mom, can we go to the dry cleaners?" I'm dead serious -- it's comical, really. Occasionally, Mr. Tang's business associate, Harold, is in store and offers a great discount card with lots of deals. I purchased one and found it to be totally worth it. If he's in store and offering these cards, do yourself a favor and get one (or more). Frankly, it's unusual for me to have loyalty to a dry cleaner, but it's happened. I really appreciate VIP Cleaners for always giving the best service with good prices. Thank you Mr. Tang!!! read more

I have been here a few times and love it. Tang is super friendly, loves talking football and joking around with my kids.

Best Cleaner, very professional, friendly I love this place, even though I have moved to Hollywood, i will still drop my clothes there because they are the best and i trust them with my vintage clothes read more

I don't dry clean often, so I called up some local places and found that VIP cleaners had the cheapest price. I went and they gave me a discount (not sure exactly if it was because I'm a first-time customer or that I was a local) but that was great already knowing that I was getting a good deal. The cashier was incredibly nice and welcoming. I picked up my dry cleaned coat four days later, and it looked amazing. Recommend! read more

Very friendly and accommodating stuff. Dropped some shirts off on Wed and needed them by Fri for a birthday dinner. Originally they said they'd be ready Saturday, but when I then tried to keep one relatively clean one for the Fri dinner they said they'd have them ready for my by Fri afternoon. They indeed were and even wished me a happy birthday. I'll definitely go back in the future and recommend anyone else in the area to go here! read more

Tang is so pleasant and wonderful esp when I bring my kids. He offers treats to them which they love. He does a great job with our dry cleaning. read more

Overpriced and rude! I get it, you run a cleaners, but why play the stereotype, why not be nice for a change? In fact rude enough that I rather drive 5-10 minutes, just so I don't have to interact with these people. read more

VIP Cleaners is the best on the West Side. I've been a loyal customer for about 10 years and even though I moved to Venice and tried local cleaners in a couple of occasions, I rather drive 15 minutes to drop off my clothes at VIP Cleaners. Their Services and professionalism are outstanding. Thank you Tang for your hard work and dedication. read more

The context for this review is that I generally despise going to the dry cleaners. I don't know if this is everywhere - or just in LA - but I always feel like I'm being scammed. Dry cleaners invent prices, offer "coupons" that are mysteriously difficult to use (and often on prices that are coincidentally higher than when you're not trying to use a coupon), and they label the most minor design elements SPECIAL CLEANING REQUIRED. "Oh, I see this sweater has 6 buttons instead of the standard 5. That's Special Cleaning." So I avoid dry cleaners as a general life rule. Enter VIP Cleaners: I've now been 3 times and each time I've been astonished by a number of things, even in very short visits: 1) Kindness - it's a pleasant place to go, I'm greeted with a smile. 2) Promptness - I'm treated like my time is valuable. 3) Pride in work - They cared about the clothes I brought in and paid particular attention to whether or not they were able to clean them (in one instance, showed me a stain they couldn't get out, rather than just hand me the clothes and see if I notice. He remembered the specific garment I brought in and was ready to talk to me about the issue.) I don't think VIP is the cheapest (I haven't done a ton of price comparison, so I'm not sure) but for a few dollars extra, you will have a MUCH better experience. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. read more

Tang is amazing! I brought him a linen suit from Zara (I was a groomsman in a wedding) the suit was way too big for me and I couldn't get a smaller size... I didn't know what to do... I brought the suit to Tang and he fixed it for me for a really reasonable price (see pictures). Honestly he's a magician! 100% recommend :) read more

You know why this place has 4.5 stars? BECAUSE THEY THREATEN USERS TO REMOVE NEGATIVE REVIEWS!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! They do NOT take responsibility for their actions, they try to manipulate and threaten you to sign papers to remove reviews in exchange for a refund, AND turns out they do NOT keep their word & will NOT pay up, which is why I'm rewriting this review! They have no idea what they're doing and ruin custom designed dresses. And instead of being apologetic, they act dumb and say it's not their fault. WHO PUTS A CUSTOM DESIGNED DRESS IN A WASHING MACHINE (and not the dry cleaning machine) AT A DRY CLEANERS?! I COULD DO THAT AT HOME IF I WANTED TO RUIN IT MYSELF! BE WARNED AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHADY BUSINESS! Not worth the hassle, headache, and dealing with shady ass people. They also manipulate other "customers" to act as their "witnesses," who knows what they're threatening those poor people with. STAY AWAY!!! read more

I do not understand all the good reviews! Dry cleaning is adequate, at best. Certainly not a place to take special items. My husband's shirts came back dingy and the dry cleaner had no idea what to do with a delicate top of mine. I took some items in to be altered and after about three weeks they still were not done. The owner has a friendly personality but the work is not good. read more

I recently moved to the neighborhood and have stopped by here a couple times for both cleaning and alterations, and this place is really a great find. Super affordable and true quality work. I just picked up a piece of clothing I'd dropped off for a major alteration and now it fits like it was made for me. I had a fantastic experience at VIP Cleaners! The owner is so kind, efficient, and knowledgeable. He helped me in a pinch and was genuinely accommodating! He quickly accomplished an alteration for me; something that two previous dry cleaners either couldn't perform outright, or in days. I have been to several other dry cleaners in the area for various needs, but never had such a great experience as I did at VIP Cleaners. I will definitely be returning for any future dry cleaning or alteration needs and I highly encourage you to give this place a visit! read more

Tang has been nothing but phenomenal and fantastic with my business in the 2 years I've been going to his store. I had a pinch where I needed something hemmed with a 24 hour turn around and he said it would be done no worries. If I've ever had an issue, he always went out of his way to make sure things were corrected. Whenever I have had things hemmed, he would have me try the items on in store to make sure they fit to my satisfaction and if they weren't, he would fix things free of charge. He is a man of his word and will continue to have my business. Whenever someone speaks so negatively about a person's livelihood, I have to wonder if they had real issues or if they are trying to make themselves look like better in the situation. Tang Pham is a fantastic business owner and great cleaner. read more
