Before G&J, I had so many issues with my previous pool services. I have also used G&J Pool Repairs to fix a lighting issue that 2 previous providers could not fix. I then used them to install a new heat pump, pool and spa control system and salt chlorinator. I couldn't be more happy with them and they are on the top of my list of favorite service providers. Used Bella Pool for about a year. Generally OK but two major problems. First, I had a leak from…read morebottom of filter. Bella sent their "repairman" to check it out. Told me he couldn't fix it and I needed a new filter unit ($3,000 - $5,000). Bowersox fixed it next day in thirty minutes for $100. More recently, a new pool tech was assigned. Within three weeks pool is full of green algae. Tech sells me $150 phosphate treatment and $150 new pool cartridge. Pool still looks awful. Hired Ahrens Pool - they come out and pool is sparking within 24 hours, I have to replace brand new pool filter cartridge that phosphate treatment ruined.

We started our research when the pool started growing algae. After talking to the owner on his next scheduled weekly visit he got really defensive, we had told him all he had to do was fix the issue, but he decided to drive off and not own up to his issue. This company is very sneaky and will try to get away with doing nothing to make more money on your dime, this time it caught up with him and if something happens this company will not fix the issue and take no blame at all. A very aggressive person that could be a danger if something happens and you have to ask him about it.
