This has been my go-to place for getting my nails done for years. I go to Lisa and she is excellent in her work. The place is also clean, spacious, and well decorated. I would definitely recommend. read more

Would not recommend going here. A friend went here who is inexperienced with getting her nails done, so she didn't know what came next was wrong. During her service of getting gel with tips, she experienced pain during drying because the heat was too high. She asked if it was normal, they said "Yes, it's fine!" You should never experience pain during a nail service. That is not normal. First red flag. Unfortunately, she went back a few weeks later to have her nails removed because they had grown out too long and she didn't want to get them filled. Instead of filing them off or soaking the nails to preserve her natural nails as much as possible, they filed off the long ends and used a metal stick to pry the gel on her nails off. Completely damaging her nails to the point they are bendy now. Meanwhile the whole time they kept asking "Are you sure you want just the removal? Do you want some nail polish?" again and again, trying to get her to spend more money. Spend your money at a place that is willing to spend the time to preserve your nails that you take months to grow. Spend your money somewhere that won't cause you pain and tell you it's fine. Go elsewhere. read more

I come here because they have the foot scrubber that I like when I get my spa pedicures. However every time I come it's unpleasant! I either have people in after me and get to go before me. Or my nails always have to chip or break no exception. The owner lady always busy and she's the one everyone goes to because I guess she knows what she's doing. I could care less just do my nails correctly. Another thing that's irritating is when you pay with card you can't tip only with cash and they expect $5 or more for tip trust me give anything less and catch the vibe after smh ! The brothers that move to the mall were more pleasant idk what's happening here now. I came the day before Mother's Day waited two hours to get shit service just trust and believe I won't be coming back here. read more

OVERCHARGED charged me over $100 for a full set with certain designs ... the quality was definitely not worth that much as i've gotten way better sets , more elaborate for cheaper . ALSO my gel polish decided to crack open in the middle of the night and it was black ! imagine being on vacation and you wake up at the hotel with black on you and the bed not knowing wtf is going on ... no i did nothing to the nail for this to happen . this was negligent nail practice as the gel clearly wasnt cured . i asked for black polish ... i got some weird black - turn dark blue in the sunlight polish , no i don't like it . then for me to make these complaints and the manager to tell me they can only compensate me FIFTEEN MF DOLLARS . OH AND BTW I STILL HAVENT GOTTEN MY MONEY BACK and this happened a week ago .. literally would not recommend this place to anyone . while on the phone with Royal Nail that next morning... in the middle of 42nd St , she's asked after i sent her these very pictures "can you wipe your nail with alcohol" ..... like I'm not standing in the middle of a busy walkway OUTSIDE now ya look at my nails and tell me if that's worth over $100 !!!!!! **EDIT** upon me just now calling back a week later as they still haven't done anything to reconcile the issue ... they had to AUDACITY to tell me that i needed to send them a photo of my card that i used to pay (the FRONT AND THE BACK OF IT) via a text message in order to get my money back .. UNPROFESSIONAL ! i've never heard anything like that . was at 2 stars now down to 1 star for that. proceeds to tell me i need to send my address to receive a check . TUH ! it's just fifteen dollars but ya not gonna play me !!!! read more

I've been going to Royal nails for over 5 years. They have excellent service and I never have to wait I just call ahead. I always go to MiMi and she does my perfect shape and designs, which I had a hard time finding for a long time in western mass. Mimi is also super fast which I love, since I am a bit impatient. I also get my pedicures there!! Rose is my go to girl. Massage chairs, tv, eyelashes, waxing. You name it, they do it quick and with excellence. Super clean, all tools are sterilized and opened in front of you. Their second location is in the Holyoke mall, its fancier, but I can't let go of the high level service of this place. read more

Absolutely awful customer service! This was my first time coming to Royal Touch of Beauty Nails. I was looking at colors and could not find the color that I was looking for. I was rushed to choose a color in order to have my nails done. I later learned that the tech who would be doing my nails was trying to go home. I told her that I wasn't happy with the color selection because I was looking for something super bright like the color that I had when I walked in. It was still an hour and a half before they closing and I wanted a gel manicure and color change on my toes. I told the girl at the counter that I was feeling rushed and that I could come back another day. She told me to take my time. I asked about a color that was at the counter on a display board. The board showed three different coats of the same color. I liked the lightest color, which looked transparent with just a slight tint of fuchsia. When I sat down to have my nails done, a woman by the name of Nina was filing my nails kind of rough. She asked me if she had resting bi#ch face on. I told her I didn't notice, though I had. She went on to complain about a very personal situation, which I will not mention because despite how awful she treated me, I don't think this is the place to smear people's personal lives. I told her I was very sorry for the situation she was dealing with. She went on to change the shape of my nails entirely. They were pointed at the ends when I came in. She made them oval. I had to say something because that is not at all the look I was going for. She became even more frustrated and said, "Why didn't you tell me this in the beginning?!" Mind you, it was only one hand she had filed like this (because I play guitar and one hand I keep very short). I replied, " Sorry. I thought you would keep them the same shape I had when I sat down. I didn't think you'd change them." It was extremely uncomfortable. She then filed them to a point but a couple of them were slightly crooked. I didn't want to say anything more because I was afraid she would file them down to nothing. When it came time to paint them, she painted one coat onto one nail to see if I liked it. It looked nothing like the nail on the board. The girl the counter brought the board over and it was clear that it was much different. I was pretty frustrated at this point. She then brought all the samples over and told me to choose from the other colors. I already told her they didn't have what I was looking for. I decided to go somewhere else. Nina became irate and was swearing at me demanding that I pay her for a manicure, though she did a really crappy job and my nails were all still tacky from the unfinished undercoat. I didn't want her near me at this point, let alone finishing the awful job she had started. I was walking to the front of the store to talk to a manager. The girl followed me saying that I had to pay for a manicure and that I cannot leave, though I would have been well within my right to do so. The woman next to her, who I would learn was the manager could not even get a word in because the girl was obnoxious. I asked her if she was a manager. She said yes and asked what happened. I relayed my experience to her. She was very nice and apologized for Nina's rudeness and told me that she could finish them herself so at least they weren't all sticky and misshapen. I don't know why I even allowed her a chance after the awful experience I just had, but I figured since she was the manager I would give her the opportunity to make it right. Nina left soon after, which helped cut the tension, though I was still really rattled. I told her that I was trying to find a bright pink, like the color I had on my toes. She was able to quickly find a color that was very similar. I was happy with the work that she did. She agreed that my nails were pretty crooked and fixed them, though they are much shorter now due to Nina's aggressive filing. I'm not sure what she could have done to rectify the situation. But I paid full price and gave her tip, as if it were any normal experience. As I was leaving, she asked me to please not post anything online, as I had mentioned I planned on doing. I should have read the reviews myself before coming but I was nearby and they were open late. I also could never have imagined being treated so badly. I am a pretty understanding person and realize that people have bad days, but this was misdirected anger from the second I sat down. She shouldn't have taken me if she was rushing to get out the door and having a bad day. Let's pray tomorrow is a better one for her so her customers don't have to suffer the way I did! read more

Walked in for a pedicure on a Thursday, it was very busy but I was helped right away. My nail tech was very professional and did a great job on my nails, I'm picky so that says a lot. Honestly I can paint my own toenails, I only go to the salon so I don't have to do my cuticles or buff out the ridges. And as a bonus they do all the things at a great price. I am a fan of the hot rock massage during a pedicure & the color selection is fantastic. read more

They are people who works only when they want. They couldn't even fix 1 natural nail. The men claim they don't know how to do nails when they have 2 locations in the Holyoke Mall and have done my nails before. It's a shame they don't care and don't speak English in front of you. I had high expectations for this place as the interior was fairly clean and the place was packed! Unfortunately, the quality of their work is horrible. My manicurist rushed through my manicure, and did such a poor job of cuticle cleaning that she frequently had to go back and re clean areas while polishing !!!! After I left the salon and looked in the sunlight, the polish is completely not smooth and the cuticles look horrible. Oh and she constantly was using her own sharp figure nail to clean of edges ! That's disgusting!!! read more

Royal Nail - Horrible manicure job. Cuticles not properly cleaned and polish is uneven. This is less than 24 hours old! - Nail Salons Near Me - West Springfield, Massachusetts

Honestly I don't know why I came here a second time. The shellac manicure was awful. She completely filed my nails down that I've been growing out for 3 weeks because I pointed out that ONE nail wasn't shaped right. She only did two layers of color which did not cover well and looked streaky. Less than a week into it, they chipped so I went to get them touched up. The color he touched them up with did NOT even match. I told him this and he assured me it was the same color. Umm I think not. read more

They still haven't started her nails either while I am still posting this review.‍ read more

A regular polish manicure will cost you $12, not a horrible price. The establishment looked promising as it was packed a couple hours before closing. I sat and waited 30 minutes then chose my colour from a decent selection. I chose yellow but was told it didn't suit me so the lady brought me a different colour to paint my nails. I almost painted my nails that colour then stopped myself and chose a colour that I wanted. I should have just walked home and not waited ... this ended up being the worst manicure I've ever had. So bad I had to take it off when I got time right after. Keep your money and paint your nails yourself -- you'll do a much better job :( read more

I had been going there since 2010. At that time I was living in Ma. When I moved to Ct. I still took the drive to get my nails done because I loved their work. Lately they have been packed every time I go there and it feels like the motto is "get them in, get them out" I did not care for the way my nails came out the last time I went, which was two weeks ago. I guess they've just gotten too busy to care about the quality of their work. read more

Love this place! Judy is my girl for the mani/pedis and Waylo dominates the nail art each and every time I go. The place is spotless, the staff is smiling and their prices are beyond reasonable. Plenty of parking in the Stop n' Shop Plaza and I have never had to wait. Plenty of shellac colors if thats what you're into. I usually just pick my base colors, see Judy and then let Waylon do what he thinks is best. I drive half an hour to come here and I will continue to come back- so happy every time! Thanks guys!!! read more

So i came here as a spur of the moment thing. I got a pedicure it was ok. I really can not stand when im getting a service and the person is having side conversations. A pedi here was 22$. But i some how ended up paying 42$ which is effing ridiculous i might as well shound had gotten fricking acrylics done... I did choose to get a gel polish but i have been to many many many salons and never paids over 35 dollars for gel polish to be included in my pedicure. I just thought 20 more to add polish was way to much. And they should let customers know the additional charges if they are that high. Because that is a huge difference from all the salons i have gone to. And its not even that nice inside at all i been to way more nicer looking salons. They are over priced and i personaly think they don't give a crap about their customers. read more

Clean store with nice staff. My nail tech spoke too quietly for me to even hear her, even after I asked her to repeat herself. I asked for the chrome nails and I'm very disappointed with them. It seems like she wasn't too sure what she was doing. Probably not coming back here. Also, they had two little kids running around and running the register? read more

Originally come in for a simple gel manicure somewhere along the way I ended up with these tips and gel overlay. I knew I didn't love them when I walked out but I wanted to give these nails a try. I would say they were okay but what threw me over was that not even 24 hours later one cracked and eventually and popped off a few hours later. I didn't even get cuticles cleaned up. Nails are uneven some are thicker than others. After leaving the store and really looking at my nails I feel like they could have been filed thinner. read more

The first time I went my nails looked good, could've been shaped better but good. I went back expecting good results, they put me with a different person than before. They are crooked shaped awfully and are already chipping. I feel like the place it self isn't bad but some people who work there don't know what they're doing but others do. Royal Nail - Poorly done manicure and shallac - Nail Salons Near Me - West Springfield, Massachusetts

Terrible. I paid 55 dollars for a manicure and pedicure and only the nails was gel nails. Don't understand why it goes form 32 for a mani and pedi to 55 just for gel nail on fingers. The lady tried to get me to upgrade again to gel feet and I said no. After that she was pretty much rushing me the whole time. 3 days later, my gel manicure is chipped on 3 fingers already. Honestly wish I didn't have to leave any stars. I loved this place when I first moved here, until I had to take my nails off for surgery, long story short once I had my nails taken off, my nails were SO THIN that it was almost IMPOSSIBLE to get them off. Nothing was working. My nails were so thin that they SPLIT DOWN THE MIDDLE, I ended up having to super glue the cracks together and keep a clear coat on them so that pain would subside. I don't think anyone here is licensed...I was crying to my mom over the phone (an experienced nail tech of 28 years), (she lives in FL so she can't do my nails anymore) and she was absolutely appalled. The problem is that they unnecessarily over file the tops of your nails when they give you a fill, which I specifically told them to go easy on bumptious times. I don't know how many times I got burnt with the drill. On top of all that, they never made sure the shellac I got was all the way cured before I left, so I would have to take time out of my day to go back and fix. (Which they wanted to charge me for) I've never been mean to them ever, even after ALL of that, but I've heard them speak very poorly about their customers (myself included) in Vietnamese on numerous occasions assuming nobody knew what they were saying. Not worth it even if you're desperate. I hope nobody ever has to go what I went through here. read more

I had a man names Kevin, there are 2 that work there. My sister got a woman who's name sounded like Yana. Anyway, we were both happy with the experience until it got time for the designs. Only Kevin could do them. I asked for a flower, he said that I don't want a flower but he will make a nice design. Okay.... Then for my sister who wanted a flower, he said her toe nails were too small and that she should pick something else. Just tell us that you can't do a flower design, Kevin. So I got a cool design and my sister ended up with stripes because she couldn't think of anything else. It's $22 for a pedicure and it was a nice experience. Just not my first pick next time I want to treat myself. read more

Had a full set of gel nails done the other day and my experience was OK. I kept asking for the man to do my nails shorter and it seemed like after a while he became annoyed because I wanted them short. Arnt they mine? And when I finally picked a color instead of the one I asked for they gave me one they "promised" was the same (so not) rather than just saying it wasn't available. Not to mention the whole time other employees were playing loud games on their phones and slurping down a bowl of soup....not professional. I have had my nails done there a few times but i'm not sure I will be returning after this. Very dissapointed. read more

A few minutes later, they came out to find me in the parking lot to tell me that I owed another $15 for the special finish on my manicure. What!? Went into royal nails for the first time today and had a spa pedicure and shellac manicure with Rose. I was greeted right away as i entered and taken to a pedicure chair. Rose recommended the spa pedicure and told me it would be 40 dollars. I can certainly appreciate that she told me ahead of time! The pedicure was ok, the massage average. The spa pedicure consisted of hot towels, hot stone and thats all i remember... (shellac color on your toes is 20 bucks more!!!) After she scrubbed my feet with the cheese grater, she went to the sink to wash it off with a brush, a brush i would later use to wash my nails, yuck! She double dipped her gloved hands into the pedi scrub jar, and actually touched the foot of the woman next to me with the same gloves she was using on my feet. Call me a germaphobe, but thats nasty! She did my shellac manicure in less than 15 minutes. It doesn't look bad at all, but I'm interested to see how long it lasts. Overall the experience was ok, but it felt a little rushed. I tipped her 20 bucks, because like me we live off them and she was very sweet! read more
