Our muscles were sore and tight. Until we got our massage from Royal Massage. Best massage we've had in a very long time. The lady who massaged me was attentive and mindful of the pressure I wanted. There were some areas that were tender so she made sure she wasn't too firm. As for my husband, he's a big muscle guy. And it takes the right person to get those knots out of him. Booked a couples massage. It was okay. One would get a phone call or a notification and leave the room. I would have liked it to be more attentive for the time we were there. Leaving during the massage is weird. I was going to use a card but was asked for cash instead. I didn't bring enough cash so they took the cash I had and the rest on the card. If I didn't have the full amount in cash, why not just charge the card the full amount? I intended to charge the service and tip in cash but that didn't happen. Long one: This is the type of place that you drive or walk by and probably don't even realize it's there. I think this is a hidden gem! I went today wanting a last minute massage before my upcoming marathon and when I walked in, the place looked clean and well maintained. The woman that checked me in also did my massage (I think she is the owner), she was fantastic! I booked for the Swedish full body oil massage and requested the hot stones. The room was simple and again clean. The massage itself was perfect, only twice did I ask for lighter pressure but again I was being hesitant with my race, so staying on the safe side. She consistently asked if the pressure was ok, and made me feel comfortable the whole time. She even stretched my legs out which I wasn't prepared for but felt great. After the massage, I went out to sign my receipt (you pay before the massage but don't sign or do the tip until after) and she didn't hassle me at all for a tip or anything. I think with the holiday season and maybe a little my tip, but she gifted me a cute reading lamp and some candy. I thought was a cute touch! Now the ONLY "cons" to this place (which is why I did 4 stars) BUT this is more my preference, the room was a bit cold so when she used the hot rags to wipe of the oil it was chilly. And the room was a bit bright, she had the blackout curtains that I wish she would've closed but again that's MY preference. Overall, I had a 10/10 experience for a great price and the last minute availability was great. Honestly wish I could do 4.5 stars but either way I will be returning again soon! read more

It is one of the cleanest and most pleasant places I've been to. She did an outstanding massage on my tight neck, shoulders, hips and feet. I got a massage here yesterday and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. Instead of feeling relaxed afterward, my back has been hurting more since the massage, which is not what I expected at all. The pressure felt too intense at times, and it didn't seem like my comfort level was being properly checked during the session. A massage should help relieve tension, not make it worse. I'm now dealing with soreness and pain that wasn't there before. I would recommend that the staff pay closer attention to client feedback and adjust pressure accordingly to avoid situations like this. Clean, very responsive, and excellent massage. I called and was able to make a same-day appointment for a 90 minute deep tissue massage. Very reasonably priced ($60/60 minutes, $90/90 minutes) with free hot stones. Other options like cupping and aromatherapy were available, but I just did the regular deep tissue. I really appreciated that there was a form to fill out at the beginning with the parts of your body that you wanted special focus on, if you wanted full body only, or combination with full body and feet. The massage therapist checked in multiple times during the massage about the pressure, and really worked on the areas that I had asked for. I would say the appearance of the place from the inside is on par with any Envy Massage or a Aveda Salon. $62 00 for an hour (I used a credit card), is an amazing value. For me the plus side is that when I called someone actually picked up the phone, no attitude, no fuss, no mess, no go online to book through my online scheduling, and no I only answer text messages.
