I enjoyed my food very much. Chana Marsala was on point as was the Vegetable biryani. Service was very friendly and they were very helpful in advising spice levels. I will definitely add this stop when I travel I 5 read more

This has been our favorite Indian food in the area for a couple years now, and it's still good, but the quality seems to be slipping. Our butter chicken from 2 days ago was so overcooked, the chicken was tough and hard like little rocks. Couldn't even chew through a couple of the bites. And they messed up an order that we ordered a few weeks ago. Just totally got it wrong. If you need an Indian food fix, this will do, but until their quality improves, we will likely go elsewhere. read more

Overall, not a good experience at all. I ordered from a man who seemed irritated by my presence. I ordered the Tandoori Salmon, he told me they didn't have it, as if it wasn't on the menu (it's in the bottom right of the menu). I then ordered the chicken curry. He informed me they had chicken biryani or butter chicken. I ordered the butter chicken which, ironically, is not on the menu. 20 minutes later, he hands me my food. The sauce wasn't my favorite, although there wasn't necessarily anything wrong with it, just not for me. It was creamy, slightly sweeter than I would prefer, and a little bland, but maybe that was because I ordered it mild. I don't know how to properly describe the chicken. The best description I have is that it was halfway between normal chicken and jerky. Maybe they were having an off day, but I won't be back. read more

I didn't realize this was a food truck when I places my takeout order, and so far from Albany! But my noodles were fantastic, so I will try delivery next time. It was not on my way home from work at all! read more

This food truck is amazing. I'm a frequent diner at the Royal India restaurant in Eugene and I decided to stop by this food truck on a rainy day in Albany. I got my usual butter chicken with a side of roti and another side of naan. The butter chicken is even better here than at the brick and mortar restaurant in Eugene, which I didn't think was even possible. It is so incredibly creamy and I've tried many times to replicate it with no luck. The chicken is so tender and just melts in your mouth. The roti was a bit tough, but I had never had it before so I didn't really know what to expect going in. The naan was fantastic as always, and it held together well when I used it to scoop up the butter chicken and rice. The food truck is located in a little pod on a gravel parking lot. There are some parking spots but not a lot. I went on a cold and wet day so nobody else was there. The wait was long anyway, but I think that's pretty typical for food that is so fresh and hot. It was the perfect thing to eat on a rainy day. I dream of the butter chicken from this food truck specifically and I cannot wait to go back again. read more

Great food and good sized portions, just call ahead if you are in a rush. I'm not a coffee drinker but that seems to be a go-to for truck drivers passing through. read more

We had a late lunch here after on our way to Seattle from Eugene after visiting University of Oregon. This is one of the food trucks parked in a a big space with multiple food trucks. Tried the butter chicken plate and lassi, which was really good The owners were really friendly and gave suggestions, but the service was a bit slow. It took more than half an hour to get our order which was unexpected considering there were no other customers. read more

The food is quite tasty, especially the Tikka sauce. The biryani was good, though I didn't really see any nuts. I'd return, but feel wary about the fact they were completely maskless the whole time. read more

This Indian food was really good and tasted quite authentic. The men who are usually working there are also quite quick and kind.

We stopped here for chai tea and got an order of samosas. The samosas dough was slight over cooked. The insides were tasty and spice. It was only serviced with a tamarind sauce NO MINT Chutney. I'd stop by again and try some curry. read more

Don't waste your time or money. Food is terrible and very little quantities. Naan bread I through in trash. Hard as a rock. Small piece of naan, so sad. Butter chicken real soupy and hardly any chicken. Go to Corvallis for excellent Indian food. David read more

I usually have no issues, but today, I did. I ordered 2 orders of samosas, 2 orders of naan, one mild chicken Tikka Massala, and one spicy chicken Tikka Massala. The order contained no samosas and only 1 naan. I paid 53 dollars and I'm not sure I'll be back. read more

I ordered chicken tikka masala whichi Allen for spicy. Usually restaurants fail to impress me which their spice scale but this truck does it well. I also ordered the lamb curry and was really happy with it. Their naan was a great addition and I easily had two meals from each entree. The woman serving me was friendly and brought my food to me in my car when it was ready! I did have a bit of a wait so I'd recommend calling ahead to order before going to pick it up. read more

Royal India - Naan . Chicken tikka masala in the top under the fork. The bottom is lamb curry. The "serving dish" was mine as I eat this as take home - Indian Near Me - Albany, Oregon

Tolerable food. Not even close to the photos they advertise. Way to expensive for what is given. When it was ready, no one let me know. I sat there for 15 minutes trying to be patient. When I noticed a bag sitting at the window I asked if it was mine. It was. No one was ordering at that time .. they could have let me know. read more

Great food. Been here many times. And a very nice staff Chicken curry has been my favorite so far. Order it spicy with raita on the side. Never mind. I just had their chicken briyani, and that is now my new favorite. Very good flavors read more

Don't know where to start, simple menu with chicken, lamb and goat to make up their non veggie menu, 7 items from there. An additional 7 additional items on their veggie menu. All choices come with PERFECTLY COOKED basmati rice. I had the Lamb curry, tomato based sauce, slightly sweet, a little spicy, totally delicious. The 2 gentlemen in the food truck were friendly, helpful and it was SOO worth the 15 minute wait for my meal. I will be coming back to try many more entrees from Royal India. Thank you, it was a true pleasure enjoying your food read more

First time trying Indian food I must say it was great I would recommend Chicken Tikka Masala

Both times that I have ordered here I called in an order of a few naan bread and both times it has taken well over 40 minutes when they said it would be 10 minutes. Both times they acted like they didn't even know my order it was just bread! read more

This was absolutely amazing! At first I was a little hesitant about trying new food but then started reading reviews and was like hmmm let's try the chicken tikka masala, I got medium and mild, both were so good maybe would go a lil more spicer next time but will definitely go back again!! read more

The food is very tasty, especially the spinach paneer. But another reviewer is right, they won't be calling out your name when you order at the window. I didn't know this so I don't know how long my food had been done for. Despite that, the food is really good and I just ordered more read more

Really great food and the staff is very friendly. Worth the wait to get delicious Indian food

Returned. Year later and everything was on point. Chicken curry, chicken kadai, butter chicken and paneer tikka masala were all freshly prepared and delicious and came with perfectly cooked rice. Adding naan to the order takes it up a notch. The addition of online ordering makes it super easy and worth driving 30 miles to pick up food. read more

Solid Indian food right off the highway. Been there a few times on my way between Portland and Albany and it has hit the mark every time. Would go here if it were in Portland as well! read more

The absolutely worst quality of Indian food, granted it came out of a "food truck" but the tiki masala base was water, zero flavors, and the chicken was so overcooked and chewy, I wouldn't feed it to my dog. The aloo gobi was dry, with no seasoning other then hot peppers...again no Indian flavoring...and at $15-19 a dish plus tip, it was the worst Indian food experience I've ever had in 40+ yrs of dining out..... read more

Really impressed with this! We had chicken tikka, garlic Nan and parathas! All were very good and fresh!

Fantastic food with aromatics that fill the air enough to make your mouth water from a mile away. The woman who works the register is so kind and attentive to her customers, and she makes sure the area is nice and clean. You need to be there earlier in the day because every time I go there they're always out of naan and tandoori items. That's ok though, there's plenty of other options to choose from! I ordered the aloo paratha and yellow daal; and oh my goodness I was in food heaven! The paratha was hot and fresh, and absolutely melted in your mouth with its savory spices that absolutely opened your senses. Now the yellow daal I only order as mild as I wanted to enjoy the flavor more than the spice, and I was not let down because I was sent down a river of savory goodness with a very slight sweetness that naturally came from the lentils. The texture was creamy, but you were still able to taste every layer of that dish. It was phenomenal. If you're ever in the area as a trucker like myself, or a local wanting to try something new; come here! Fantastic quality, good portions, and all at a great price; it's a must try!! read more

Best buttered chicken in the area. It costs a little more but I can't help going back again and again

I fell in love with Indian food many years ago and always search it out when traveling. As I was passing through this area recently, I decided to stop here and placed an order. As I tried each item I was absolutely delighted. I had a chai, chicken tikka masala, saag paneer and a mango lassi. Each item was outstanding! This is now the best Indian food I've ever had! read more

We were traveling through & saw some food trucks next to Loves truck stop. Wandered over & ordered saag paneer, chicken tikka masala, naan & rice pudding. Holy moly. This place was on par/better than any sit down formal restaurant. Juicy chicken, perfect balance of spices, good char on the naan. Reasonably priced for the quality & portion size. read more

First experience ever eating Indian food and I am hooked! Some of the best food I have ever tried in my entire life. I have literally been there almost daily for the last couple weeks because I can't get enough. I also went in search of an Indian restaurant where I actually live and it was terrible compared to this food truck. And I'm convinced I have found some of the best Indian food that there is. Great authentic Indian food. Great biriyani. Would eat here again! Warning. Their food is a bit on the hot side but worth it!!

There food is amazeballs and everyone should try it. The flavors are out of this world! I got the fish fry, kheer which is rice pudding. Last time I got the other dessert and it's really light and sweet. Oh and the samosas have amazing flavor and are not greasy at all. The fish wasn't greasy either. The chime churry sauce was super yummy too. And the people are friendly and kind. read more

Blown away! It is IMPOSSIBLE to find good Indian food in Salem! This is close enough that we had to try it after seeing the billboard that it's by Love's. Checked out their website and we were in. Called ahead since we were taking it to go....back to Salem! Very friendly and patient on the phone. Ordered the Chicken Curry, the Butter Chicken and the Tiki Marsala with garlic naan bread.
