My friends booked Royal Hawaiian Catamaran for my bachelorette and birthday party. Shout out to our crew Kalani, Jacob, Adam, and Eric (trainee). They made this part of my trip such an amazing memory. I was not involved in the initial communication or booking of the catamaran, but my friends said it went smoothly. Our time slot was on a Saturday 12:30pm for 3 hours, which I thought was the perfect amount of time. We requested a spot that was secluded and away from other boats, and the team delivered. They provided a bunch of floaties (including a giant inflatable one shaped like a diamond ring) for us to chill on. The net at the back of the boat was roomy enough to fit all of us. They pointed out different animals to us - we saw dolphins, sea turtles, sea urchin, sea cucumber and an octopus! Some specific examples of their great service: - One of the girls' hats flew off due to the wind, and the crew did a U-turn and fished the hat out of the water for her. - One of the girls unfortunately got bad sea sickness. The crew quickly gave her ice to chew on and provided tips on how to reduce the nausea. They were quick to clean up any mess. - They continuously checked in to see if we needed any refreshments or had song requests. Their music taste was on point the entire time, so we actually didn't even need to change the song. - They offered to take multiple pictures of our group at different angles and on different areas of the boat. When reflecting on my bach/birthday weekend, a lot of the girls said the boat was their favorite part. This was definitely a splurge (especially since we only had 8 people and opted for a private catamaran), but it was well worth it! read more

The staff here are great. I highly recommend an associate if you're gonna do a private party it is worth the price especially when you're doing the sunset cruise with a private party. Try to get at least 20 to 25 people to offset the cost, but it is really nice tip them well. read more

The crew went above and beyond when our other charter had an unfortunate issue. They didn't have to jump in and save the day, but they certainly did! We had a rehearsal dinner charter and I couldn't recommend their hospitality more. If I could give them a 50/10 I would. read more

They provide soft drinks and allow you to bring on whatever additional drink and food you want. They provide snorkeling gear for you. There is so much space on the boat - I think over 30 people can join, but is also great for a small group. Would highly recommend booking this for a great morning or afternoon!! My friends and I booked with Royal Hawaiian Catamaran and it was def one of the highlights of our Hawaii trip! Kalani, Gio, and Grace hosted us and made sure we were thoroughly taken care of during our boat ride. All we had to worry about was having fun and not getting sea sick and they handled the rest! They helped us bring all of our food and drinks onto the catamaran and provided the cups, utensils, water, and juice. They always checked on us to see if we needed anything else and brought it out to us, too. We were lucky enough to see some whales and we had an amazing time snorkeling. I personally can barely swim but Kalani went out of his way to make me feel safer in the water (thanks again!). He also helped point turtles out to us. 100000/10 would recommend. Didn't know what to expect but it was an amazing Experience. Captain and the crew were very accommodating and personable which was awesome. Of the many Catamarans to choose from this one was chosen and I wouldn't have had it any other way. The trip was smooth and the captain made sure we were all safe and knew all precautions. We had an excellent experience with the crew of the Royal Hawaiian Catamaran. My friend booked it as a reception for her wedding for a party of about 16 people. The crew was super helpful and very welcoming throughout the trip. They were even able to accommodate a surprise wedding cake that we purchased for my friend in one of their coolers and suggested the perfect time to unveil the surprise at sunset. Our cruise went along the coast of Waikiki and stopped just prior to Diamond Head for snorkeling and swimming. We were all pretty surprised at how many different kinds of fish were active in the water and we even saw a sea turtle while snorkeling. Be aware that the waters can get pretty choppy while the boat is anchored for the snorkeling portion, so bring Dramamine if necessary as a number of our friends got seasick. We also had dinner catered by the onboard chef. She made al pastor and chicken tacos which were amazing! Overall this whole experience was unforgettable. We would definitely book again as we loved the experience of sailing around Waikiki with all of our friends! read more

Thank yoo Gio for helping when I freaked out a little in tbe water. Yes I freaked out with. Life vest on. However Gio(sp) was super helpful to me as I got off of the boat. I am not sure why maybe it was the ocean, or just nerves but I got off the boat and literally turned around to get back on. In the calmest voice ever he just was like hey just grab a hold of this we can just hang out. I was so grateful for his small torpedo buoy. After a few minutes of hanging onto the buoy I realize that between the lifevest and my swimming skills I was perfectly fine so I decided to do some snorkeling and it was so cool to see all the fish and the turtles it really wasn't a great experience and I'm telling you put on the lifevest and get off the boat and go snorkeling it's a very cool experience. How many people can say they have went snorkeling in the North Pacific ocean. This boat tour had really great attendance as they came around a few times and asked if we were OK and offered us beverages from the shared cooler. When my daughter said that she wanted to jump off the side of the boat somehow two of the lifeguards just appeared and watched her that was pretty cool I really like that they seem to care about everybody on the boat. I also liked how they took everyone's stuff put it neatly in the cabin so that way the room along the boat was not impeded with peoples stuff. sometimes people don't think about their things being in other peoples way:( well this boat and it's crew have that covered. I recommend bringing a generous portion of snacks as me and my family were wondering to ourselves why we didn't pack sandwiches fruit etc. I also recommend a good helping of Dramamine. This Catamaran cruise is the BEST cruise on the island. I went numerous times while I was living on Oahu and every time I had someone come to visit, I made it a point to schedule the cruise during their stay. Needless to say, time and time again, the cruise was on the top of the list as far as memorable moments on the trip. While the catamaran is impressive (featured in "Along came Polly"), what makes this cruise is the crew. Shane, Kalani, & Richie are knowledgeable, take every safety precaution, but still manage to be incredibly chill and let you have a good time (BYOB!). They also are environmentally cautious and COVID cautious. They all wear masks during the cruise and provide sanitizer. It's also important to note, the boat is all open air with plenty of space, so you are never too close to anyone. If you're even considering it, I highly recommend this cruise as it was the highlight of my time on the island.
