I told the hospital nurses that I wanted him home the next day. st Jude Hospice stepped in and made everything happen. My husband was home mid day on Friday and all equipment was already delivered. Nursing care was at the home waiting for him. The care provided was professional, caring and loving. The staff brought a level of calmness to the family. Amparo "Chu" Wang, the CEO, came to my house with caregiver (Carmen Veloso Wieberg, CEO at Instant Healthcare). Chu was so caring and professional in explaining how hospice works, and very patiently standing by until we were ready to contract the hospice care. Chu and her teams are very knowledgeable - they understood our stress and was VERY quick to provide all the help we needed, i.e. medical equipment (hospital bed, wheel, bath chairs, oxygen kit, etc), nurses, pain meds, etc. Everyone in Saint Verena was so warm and helpful to us; they must really care about what they do. Under Saint Verena's care, my mother passed away peacefully with no pain, and we as family got so much support too. My family is forever grateful for Saint Verena and Chu Wang the CEO.
