I know I am harping, but we could have gotten a king bed, fridge, microwave, hair dryer etc and breakfast for only about $10 more. Had I known about the extra fees we would have gone to another place but we were already here. So what I mean by extra fees is they charge $5 for Internet and that allows you to connect only one device, the other place allows multiple devices for no extra charge. Also they wanted to upgrade to to a fridge and microwave for $3 more, and there are no ironing boards or hair dryers in the rooms, but as we were leaving I find out that the hair dryer is available for use from the from desk, they keep track of them as the clerk put it. I don't have a problem with that, but let people know at least as they are renting a room. So as I was explaining to the attendant about my price issues she kept telling me about all of the reasons why, but that was not justification enough for us, next time we will not choose this motel simply because we need to connect at least two devices to Internet, and we obviously want the best for our money and not have to keep adding fees onto our rate. Plus I prefer to have breakfast. So once again and I want to make it clear, I do recommend this place, great place, very pet friendly, and it was clean. But just know about the prices, room fee (probably $60), Internet $5 for one device, no breakfast, $3 for a fridge and microwave, and you have to ask for the iron or hair dryer. According to USPS tracking, the package was delivered at 10:27 AM. When I arrived around 3:00 PM, the package was nowhere to be found. The staff did not know I had canceled my stay, so they could not have refused the package or returned it to the carrier at the time of delivery. From what I observed, packages are simply left on the front counter where anyone could access them. As a result, I believe someone from the property may have taken it, or at the very least, failed to secure it properly. The front desk staff were not helpful and showed little interest in assisting because I was no longer a guest. Since USPS did not provide a delivery photo, there is always a possibility that the package was misdelivered. However, given the staff's attitude and the lack of accountability, I was left with very little confidence that anyone made a genuine effort to locate it. Overall, between the poor first impression of the property, the lack of package security, and the unhelpful customer service, this was a very disappointing experience.
