I had never been to or heard of Royal Cleaners until I had the pleasure of sitting next to the owners on the 13+ hour flight from Korea to Chicago while returning from business trip 2 years ago and finding out we lived in the same area. The story: I had tried a few others in the area and have found the service, mediocre at best. So, after learning who my seat mates were and sharing my experiences with them, they told me about their shop and suggested I try them out, as they have a more personal approach to the business. So, a few days after we finished our journey and I had unpacked, I started bringing my clothes to Royal, I'll never take them anywhere else again! They truly go above and beyond for their customers!! Great place to get your clothes cleaned and ready for any occasion!! read more

I took a down winter coat here to have a broken zipper fixed. They replaced it with a heavier duty zipper and the work was great, couldn't even tell it was replaced. Very friendly woman who worked there. read more

We took in a U.S. flag in that had come apart at several seams from the weather. It had been flown on the last naval ship our late son-in-law had been on. They not only repaired the ripped seams but went above & beyond our request & sewed over all of the seams so that it would be strong! Beautiful work & we will fly it proudly once again. Thank you so much!! They are amazing! read more

Brought in two suits. Which sat in my truck for 2 weeks after my daughter's wedding which was outside. Suits had some bad ring around the collar. One shirt had some dark stains due to spilled drinks. Both shirts came back bright white again. read more

I went to dinner with friends and had buffalo wings, followed by black cherry chip ice cream. The food was so good I decided to bring some home ... on my shirt :-( The Team at Royal Cleaners worked diligently to remove all of the stains that had been sitting for a few days while I was out of town. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly and accommodate same day service requests. I highly recommend this local owner operated business. read more

My cleaners and seamstress of choice. I've always had everything cleaned and repaired perfectly and on time. Very professional and reasonably priced service. No reason to go anywhere else.. read more

In general, I like this cleaner. It would be helpful if they updated the hours of operation on their website and order tickets, though. Both said they were open until 7:00 pm today. I arrived just before 5:30 to find the place closed and a handwritten sign on the door saying they closed at 5:00 pm. Not a huge deal, but nobody likes to have to make an additional unnecessary trip, when it could have easily been avoided by updated information. read more

I took some work pants to be taken in at the waist and they did such an amazing job! You wouldn't be able to tell there had been any alterations done. Plus they did it really quickly and the lady who works there is super nice and helpful! Highly recommend! read more

If you're looking for a reliable, dependable cleaners in the area, please LOOK ELSEWHERE! I came here based on good yelp reviews and wow, have I been let down. I brought two items, a white blazer (to have dry cleaned) and white pants (to adjust the hem). When I came to pick them up, I saw large yellow blotches all over my $100 blazer. I was schocked that whoever cleaned it had not seen them! Keep in mind, my blazer only had the standard slightly dirty collar. On my pants, the hem was lowered but now in its place was a dirty ring all along the bottom of my white pants! I understand that this was from where the hem was previously. What I don't understand is why I did not receive a call about this from the person who did the alteration, explaining the condition of the pants and asking if they should clean them, as they looked horrible! Like a ring around the bathtub on both pant legs. It was poor customer service to not call and notify me, and instead iron the existing dirt further into my pants (probably setting the stains). They ended up re-doing my blazer, but I was too horrified to ask them to clean my pants as well, not knowing if the same yellow stains would appear. When I came to pick up my blazer the second time, I could still see the yellow staining, just not as vibrantly as before. When I calmly asked the owner about this and what I should do now, she informed me that they simply do not stain clothes, and that was that. I told her that her answer was unacceptable to me as they CLEARLY DID STAIN MY CLOTHES and she told me that instead I should be thanking her, as my blazer was filthy to begin with! (Totally untrue and WHOLLY INNAPROPRIATE). The best past was that she refused to refund any of my money, so I got to pay $16 to have $175 of clothing ruined! I ALSO RECIEVED NO APOLOGY AT ALL. For all of these reasons I am seriously considering taking them small claims court. It is THAT BAD. THE MOST JAW DROPPINGLY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECIEVED. STAY FAR AWAY! read more

The couple that own this place are super sweet. They worked so hard to get the mud off of my wedding dress and even gave me a discount on the preservation package. I highly recommend this company. read more

We can't say enough about this cleaners. The owners take care and pride in their work, and always exceed our expectations. Our clothes are always clean and nicely pressed. Turnaround is only a few days and they will handle an over night request if asked. Aside from clothes, they've cleaned rugs, comforters, and table runners. It is the little extra things that make a difference. I hadn't realized that a silk skirt I brought in for cleaning had an unraveled hem. I picked up the skirt and found that the owner had taken the skirt home and hand-stitched the hem for me. Well never take our dry cleaning anywhere else! read more
