I should have taken the items back instead of leaving them there. Update: I received all my garments on time. They look fine. However, I won't be back since they don't give a receipt for dropped off items.

Last week they were at the prices listed below, now they are about $.30 higher. $$$ - Dryers are at $0.55 for 15 minutes What's the same? - Feels safe, well lit, security cameras, bathrooms require a laundry card - vending machines are slightly overpriced, but there's a Dollar Tree within walking distance Though it's more expensive, it's convenient and there's always space.

It is bright, clean, quiet, and staffed. They do have several sizes of machines ranging in price from $3.75 to 11.00 wash. (11 is like a Ferris wheel!) drying is .75 per 13 minutes. Dryers are hot and 13-20 mins is good to go even for towels. Carts are readily available. Clean floor if you drop something. Everyone has access to folding area. Bathrooms are clean but need a swipe from an attendant. Vending machines available and reasonably priced. Tv is on low if you're interested, background music is low. Chickens play area. Several walls of washers and dryers. I got 10 loads done in 2 hours! Spendy ok, but have you ever hand washed 10 loads... let's weigh the options here. Detergent is available, bleach, oxi clean, and even laundry bags... all for a small price. Also have drop off service. It is credit card or add dollars to a swipe. My cc didn't like the 10+ authorizations. Definitely a non creepy, bright light, reasonably busy on a Saturday laundromat. Would recommend.

This place does a great job on his shirts and pants. They also do a fabulous job on my dresses and sweaters (the kind that I can't do at home). Only once had an issue and they made it right. Also, it doesn't hurt that this business is at the same intersection as two big name coffee shops! Love running errands when a stop for coffee is involved.

My first visit to this dry cleaners, the owner was absolutely miserable. Barely acknowledge my presence walking in the door. A month later I had more dry cleaning, so I stop by there one more time thinking maybe she was just having a bad day, that time she smiled and was nice. I was surprised. However, every time I've gone there since then she has been miserable. I have never met a more unfriendly owner. She never bothers to greet you not even with a hello. I like a friendly neighborhood cleaners, when I walk in, they appreciate your business. I feel like I'm an interruption in her day just by walking through the door. Time to find a new dry cleaner.

This is the BEST Cleaners service I have EVER experienced in 25+ years of using these services...insofar as quality of cleaning. I am most impressed with VC's ability to get out all the 'phamtom' - seemingly immoveable stains that suddenly appeared on my shirts [likely from all the 'chemicals' used at mass volume cleaners like CD One Price]. Best of all is their ability to bring my older shirts back to looking like brand by removing [what I once thought were immovable] deodorant stains! I STRONGLY recommend using Village Cleaners as your central dry cleaning source. Heck, knowing what I know now, I would've traveled from Pingree Grove to use VC's [Algomquin] services! DO NOT GO HERE!! First of all let me say...I feel sorry for…read morethis ladies husband because he is sooooo nice! Secondly their washers do not spin out the water very well....this has been an issue each time I have gone..maybe less the 10 times since it's been open. My family owned laundry mats when I was younger ..I know! I went there around 10ish on a Sunday only 2 ppl in there and all of the sudden it got packed. I got some of my washers started ( 4 out of 7 loads) 3x 3.50 and 1 x 3.75. for some reason the owner decided to shut down the system and get it back up...however it wasn't going so smoothly for her. I am not sure if this was a voluntary process or if something was wrong that the system needed a reboot. By this time the facility was packed with people waiting to get started. My loads that got washed were finished so I took them out and put my car to dry at home. I had also taken out the others and also put them in my car because I didn't want to wait another 30 mins to wash. I saw another customer talking to the owner and I said oh maybe I should check my balance in case all these "errors" deducted from my card. She took me to the machine to check balance .75.....after I had started with $30.75. I said oh no that's not right.. She found my receipt confirmed to starting amt and asked me what machines started...I showed her the 3x 3.50 and told her and a top loader over there. She said well there aren't any clothes in here. I told her they were done so I took them to my car. So after telling her like 3 times or more what washers I had used she started getting shitty with me she loudly told me "I am trying to calculate what you used so I can credit your card" I said I understand that and I just told u 3 times ...these 3 washers and a top loader over there. Apparently her calculator doesn't work because I calculate 30.75 minus 14.25 equals 16.50. she brings my card back and said "I credited $10 so there is $10.75" I was so livid when I left because what a waste of my time and at the point it's not even worth speaking to her anymore because clearly she thinks she right in this situation. I saw her husband in the parking lot and asked him if he was the owner ..the first thing out of my mouth to him was "I understand this is a stressful situation for your wife ' next thing I know she's standing next to him...arguing with me even more. I finally said "listen I am a customer there are plenty of more options for me to wash my clothes" I didn't do anything wrong by asking for a refund that their machines malfunctioned. Then to be treated like I was trying to scam her is a whole other situation. Well enjoy the $6.00 u made for being a rude business owner.
