I noticed how nicely my eggs were cooked to perfection and how my food was plated and can tell they took pride in the presentation of their dishes. My friend and I both had the chilaquiles breakfast and everything was very good like homemade from scratch not canned beans or anything like that. The place and ambiance reminded me of when I vacation in Mexico with good music and very clean. Our server was very gracious and took good care of us and yes it's a little away from the usual places but it's definitely worth getting out there.

We live in Las Cruces where we don't have any decent Chinese restaurants. A dear friend of ours…read morerecommended this place as they often dine there so my wife and I stopped by on May 21. We got there around 11:30 and the place, that it is small was empty. The server got happy when we told her that we got recommended by a friend from Las Cruces. She told us that they were preparing a large to go order so we just arrived on time. She explained a few things on the extensive menu and pointed out to their lunch specials that cost $8.85. My wife ordered the Teriyaki chicken and I ordered the Tofu Homestyle option. The price includes a soup and either steamed or fried rice. The platter was generous, we liked specially the Hot & Sour Soup. After we arrived several customers came to eat there as well as picking up food. The server was fantastic, on of the best we ever had; very pleasant, fast and courteous. We will be back soon.

We had the Shrimp w/ blackbean sauce, BBQ pork egg foo young, Spicy fried rice and spring rolls. All of items were delicious and the servings were very generous. The Spicy fried rice was quite a treat and highly recommended as an introduction to the chefs capabilities. Service was amazing and treated us like "regulars" on our first visit. -- 6/10, but with vibes…read more First impression: this place looks way fancier than the buffet back in my hometown. Like, chandeliers-for-no-reason fancy. I half expected a maître d' to escort me to the crab rangoons. The food journey (aka chaos on a plate): * Chow mein - honestly delicious, the noodles were vibing. * Rice - colder than my ex's heart. * Orange chicken - one bite had me sweating. But I'm white, so that's probably just a personal problem. * California roll - one piece was ALL cream cheese, the next was NONE cream cheese. The balance of the sushi universe was disturbed. * Egg roll - also cold. Like...straight out of Elsa's freezer cold. Beverages & desserts (aka rollercoaster of emotions): * Dr Pepper - incredible. The right kind of spicy, borderline spiritual experience. Would honestly come back just for this soda machine. * Pudding - tasted like both mint and cough medicine at the same time. I'm still processing. * Jello - had recoil. Like, I poked it and it pushed back. * Strawberry bananas - apparently the star in other reviews, but they tasted like cucumbers pretending to be fruit. Special mentions: * The "chicken on a stick" looked like a squirrel leg cosplaying as a frog leg. Did not taste like chicken, or...anything really. * They don't do margaritas (tragic). Ordered a strawberry lemonade instead -- it was basically water with trust issues. * For reasons unknown, my Black friend was charged 3¢ more than me. Is this the inflation Joe Biden warned us about? * Our Mexican friend loved literally everything though, so maybe this buffet is just a choose-your-own-adventure situation. Final verdict: $20.23 for me, $20.25 if you're my colored friend. Absolute bargain if you like culinary confusion. Would I come back? Yeah...for the Dr Pepper and the vibes.

On a whim I sat down for the buffet, and I was super impressed for such a little place at a late hour in a little burb of El Paso. It's 150% better than Linns (which is so overpriced and lackluster now), and as good as Teppanyaki (obviously that place is huge so don't get crazy expecting all that variety). Also, something I didn't know I needed was the perfect cherry jello that's firm but not gross, and sweet but not cloying. Their little "donuts", macaroons, and crème choux buns thingys are pretty tasty too, and I hate coconut usually $14 with a drink and free refills there's no beating the value.
