This is without a doubt the best, well established, well ran, Chinese restaurant in the city, I come here whenever anyone wants to eat Chinese... if I am on the Westside , i will wait until I'm back on the east to eat at this restaurant. I work in the northeast and when I want some, I take my lunch and order and drive back to eat here.. it's that good without. A doubt.. come try this delicious food, wherever you are. You will not be disappointed. I found this restuarant on a whym and never looked back.. The owners and chefs are friendly, I am always greeting with hellos from the cashier all the way to the back of the kitchen, I'm practically yelling across the the restaurant, just to say "what's up, how y'all doing." A restaurant where they make you feel at home every time you walk in, and the food, you know is cooked great and it is well priced.. I could go on and on, but stop by and eat here and you will probably leave a 5 star yelp review like myself... Great restaurant, keep the food coming. read more

I just ate at this restaurant and it was honestly one of the worst experiences I've had with Chinese food. The rice tasted old and dry, like it had been sitting around for days. My dish had a strange, unpleasant flavor that made it hard to even finish a few bites. I didn't finish it. The food didn't seem fresh at all, and it left a bad aftertaste. I definitely wouldn't come back or recommend this place to anyone. read more

First time trying this place and was already reluctant because we've yet to find a decent Chinese restaurant in El Paso. (Good luck right!)... We placed our order online and was given an estimated 20 min wait time. When we arrived after waiting 20 mine, upon walking in we weren't even greeted with a hello. . no welcome... Instead the young man who was at the register looks at us and says, "yes?" while the man and lady behind the counter just briefly looked at us, not even a smile then back to work. We tell the young man we're picking up our online order and he looks confused and tells us they didn't have our order. We ended up having to wait again he said it would be 5-10 mins but it ended up being more like 15mins. The aura they gave off was very unwelcoming and seemed as if we were inconveniencing them. This alone doesn't make me want to come back. I will only continue to support family owned businesses who actually value their customers and are actually FRIENDLY. Now on to the food. The cashew chicken was very skimpy with the chicken, the sauce did taste good but I've definitely had much better. The pork fried rice was nothing super special. The won ton soup was just okay, the broth wasn't great, the won tons had a strange texture almost like they had been sitting in the broth way too long or it wasn't fresh soup. Was not impressed at all. The egg rolls aren't even egg rolls, they're more like spring rolls, they are more on the skinny side and skimpy on filling. Tasted like it was mostly fried egg roll wrapper and tasted over- fried The side order of won tons were just okay, flavor was lacking. Wouldn't order this again Maybe they were just having a bad day but it's no wonder why there were zero other customers in there. Bad attitudes are bad for business. Sorry but your food isn't even good enough to be giving such a snobby, unfriendly vibe. Would I recommend this restaurant? Absolutely not. We spent $50 for a family of three on mediocre food. read more

Placed an online order thinking it would be fast. Nope. Waited 45 min. I called in 20 min after and they told me they would call me. They called me 25 min later asking if I was going to show up. WTF you told me to wait for your phone call. Anyway, the bbq mifun tasted off. My fried dumplings looked microwaved and were chewy like they had prepared them earlier in the day. Seem homemade. Anyway, I wished a happy cny to the cashier and she looked at me as if I had insulted her. The online price didn't match what I paid for in pickup. They added another $1 and called it a convenience fee. Guess what? No utensils. No napkins. No sauces in the takeout bag. What was I paying the extra fees for? Then add a 5% credit card use charge. This is the second time I've seen this at a restaurant. I understand things are costing more, but you raise the price from last year by 30+ %, charge me for takeout trays calling it a convenience fee and then charge me again for using my credit card? Greedy, misleading (it was not advertised anywhere that there would be an upcharge) and cheap as sh!t. I wonder what other corners they're cutting. I think I'll just stick to Panda Express where you know if your food is fresh and you pay only for what you order. read more

New China Wok - Fried dumplings - rubbery and tasted like it was sitting out for awhile. $10 for 8. Rip off. - Chinese Near Me - El Paso, Texas

The food was fresh and prepared quickly. I ordered vegetable spring rolls, pork with broccoli, house fried rice, and chicken wings. The food was fresh and colorful. The taste of the fried chicken wings had a delicate, warm spice flavor of ginger, cinnamon, allspice, or nutmeg, I couldn't quite guess completely, but there was a little sweet and warmth to it. I ordered take-out the day before Thanksgiving with the idea that it would be my Thanksgiving dinner. I broke into the spring rolls and chicken wings first. Took a taste of the bbq pork, delicious. The fried rice had a mild curry flavor and color. So good! The restaurant wasn't busy at the time, but it was clean and neat. Also included with my meal was a scrolled calendar for 2026, and I took it as a blessing or goodwill for the coming year. It is located beside a Dunkin' Donuts on Edgemere, and if the people of this neighborhood have not yet discovered this place, you should. I don't think English is well spoken here, but the international language of providing and sharing a meal certainly is. It is a small kitchen seemingly run by two people. I can imagine on busy nights, orders might stack up and take time. All I can recommend is be patient and wait. It will be worth it. read more

good food all around and the finished making the food faster then expected also was very clean compared to other chines places I've been to

This small Chinese restaurant single handedly got me through high school, I'll always be forever grateful for the owners giving me a bite to eat even when I didn't have the funds. They're great and I'll always eat here whenever I can! read more

It's Friday night and no one is cooking but I have a taste for some hometown Chinese food. New Chia Wok is in El Paso but a few of the people that work there used to live and work in NYC. The style of cooking they do here is very reminiscent of the way they made Chinese food back home in The Bronx. I love coming here on my cheat days to get some great Netflix and chill food. The shrimp and lobster sauce is to die for. The assistant owner is super cool and every time we see other I love catching up. Enjoy!! read more

I eat here often, but mainly I order the wonton soup... I ordered the chicken with garlic sauce (lunch special) & two egg rolls. when I arrived at 1045 to pick up my food because I'd scheduled an order, it wasn't ready and the guy said it'd be done in about 5-10 minutes. So I waited. When I got the order and started eating, I noticed that the rice was very hard and seems like it had been frozen/refrigerated and then heated up. Even the chicken was cold is some places. Nonetheless, I will stick to china 1 on saul Kleinfeld & pebble hills. read more

They have two options for serving size if the item on the menu says it is available; pint and quart. Even if they offer a pint size it is still quite a portion of food. If they don't offer it then it is regular size which yet again is a big portion. The food is delicious and fulfilling but I find it weird they serve their soup in a plastic container. The tables aren't that many and are made for groups of six people. They also have baby high chairs. They ask you immediately if you are dining in or take out. They also have an option of you calling in for take out and going here to pick it up. I find it inappropriate that there is a child asking if you want to buy snicker bars because it catches people off guard and throws them off from focusing on eating or ordering food. read more

Ok I normally don't write a review on Chinese food but oh my God this food is fresh and amazing. I mean it try it, I have a hard time finding a good Chinese place and this place is the bomb. What keeps coming into mind is Fresh!!! Try this place you'll love it read more

So I looked for a Chinese place that had take out and this place popped out. I ordered orange chicken white rice and noodles. And if I were rating just on the orange chicken it would get 5 stars. However this review is on overall experience. I called to make my order so that I wouldn't have to wait for my food and just pick it up!! The lady is like well u can just come in and order when you come. I'm like well that would be ok exept I want my food to be ready by the time I get there, so could you put my order in?? She said yes, told her what I wanted in my mind I thought she was putting my order in, I get there and it's not only not ready but they get start cooking at that moment and in my mind I'm like: " great! R u fucking kidding me, this is why I called!! Waited 10min I mean its not a really long wait but it's an inconvenience because my kids r waiting at home with my brother and I needed to get home ASAP. Like I said, that's why I called before hand. Well I come home and I'm like this better be worth it.. and orange chicken wow, it was good, but the chowmein oooh child those noodles we're so blaaaand, no flavor, like a stiff white woman dancing at a brothers club! NO FLAVOR!! WHITE RICE WELL; HOW CAN ANYONE FUCK UP WHITE RICE RIGHT??? so whatever, it tasted like well, white rice. Lol call not bad but not great either read more

Let's see! This place may have a vast menu! However I stick to what I know! The good stuff! I am going to go on recited and say they have the best mei fun I have ever had in my life. This place was pretty good, the lady at the register was masked, but all the cooks were not. I can understand why they weren't, it seemed pretty hot back there. I'm sure it's pretty hard to breath in that heat with a mask on. read more

One of my fav Chinese take out, they do in fact use face masks, quick service and yummy food.

My go to order is the sesame chicken combo with fried rice - it's truly amazing. I drive from the west side to the East side on edgemere just to order this. BEST in the 915 for my order at least. Excellent read more

Fast take out service. Placed the order and was advised it would be done in 5-10 mins. I live only 4 mins away. Although, I may say with a huge menu it was very overwhelming, the combination platters were a great save, and it had a lot of my favorites. Everything seems to be reasonably priced. The pork fried rice was delicious and not lacking any flavor, and the orange chicken was so-so. Im used to it being coated in a batter fully, they looked more like teriyaki chicken with orange sauce. I'll definitely be back to try more and other things on the menu. read more

Ewwww. Can you give a business zero stars? If I could, I would. Brought this home and after a few bites I threw it out and almost threw it up. A poor excuse for Chinese food. Looks like I've got to stick to Pei Wei forever while in Texas. Sure, it was only 5 bucks but I felt sick for the rest of the day!!!! I got the sesame chicken with fried rice. Fried rice was bland and lacking of any vegetables or egg. Chicken was mostly ALL gristle and the sauce was overly sweet and greasy. This place makes Panda Express look like a fine dining establishment. read more

Had the chickcen fried rice, dumplings, and spring rolls. The food had no seasoning, the chicken friend rice was only long strips of chicke, rice, tons of green onion, and huge chunks of white onion. The dumplings were supposed to be friend but you could tell they were steamed and then fried but only on one side not to mention they were really gummy and sitting in oil in the container. The spring rolls didnt contain to many vegetables and also had huge chunks of white onion in them. read more

Food is not good at all definitely will not return. FYI cook doesn't wear mask I watched him cook with no mask.

I had the shrimp with broccoli. It was FANTASTIC. The shrimp was huge and fresh, not fried. So was the broccoli. It was still crispy and delicious. Perfectly cooked. I highly recommend. read more

As the previous reviewer said, this placr closely mimics the Lee Trevino China Wok in taste, menu, presentation etc. I do think the Lee Trevino one is a little bit better especially for dining in. I would never dine in at this location, but for takeout it saves about 20 min total of driving time so this is my new Chinese food place for a quick yummy meal. read more

So I drove 25 mins to this place, ordered chicken Hunan and chicken with almond. When I drove back 25 mins to the home, I realized they gave me chicken with broccoli when I paid for chicken Hunan. sad to say I was very disappointed with our mean mojo get pan was very bland and had no water chestnuts thereof chopped suey had lacked in beef but lots of onions and cabbage the egg rolls were over fried and the wonton soup was a strange yellow color with a strange taste as for the fried rice it was like small pieces of plastic so dry and yellow no veggies or anything no flavor either so sad with this meal threw the rice in the yard for the birds and made my own read more

I have lived in El Paso for a little over a year and this is my FAVORITE Chinese food place. They are delicious and the closest thing that tastes like the Chinese back home in VA. I love about 5 minutes away and always use the BeyondMenu app to order and within the next few minutes I get a call to confirm my order and it's ready about 5-10 mins after that. Very fast paced. Some even recognize me now when I come in, they always know what my order is before I approach the counter. Sad to be leaving soon, I will definitely miss their food read more
