I was so excited based on the Instagram story I saw. Sadly the moment we walked in the tables were piled with uncleaned plates. Had to wait for someone to clean a table off. The most unfriendly staff ever! Didn't smile, greet us or even bring menus until asked. Took drink order then came back 5 minutes later with no drinks and asked if we were ready to place food order. Then took order and came back with drinks. Food came out one plate at a time as ready. She forgot one of the dishes for about ten minutes. It got busier and never came back. Had to get up to ask for to go containers and the check. The place was nice and the food was tasty. But do not see myself going back. First off, if you don't like your job don't make it everyone else's fault. Bad customer service reflects on you, not your boss. Second, this isn't pork fried rice. Like at all. This is yellow rice with pork and onions. If you look up fried rice you can do a comparison. Just say yellow rice and keep it pushing. Paid our fair share but will not be coming back. Our family roasted the food for a good 30 minutes instead of praying over it. Update: We all got sick. Nausea, stomach issues and made friends with the toilet. The food was ok. What was NOT ok, was the server mopping all around me with the strong scent of fabuloso, while I was trying to eat my food. We devoured the Beef Hunan and Orange chicken combos which included rice and egg rolls. With egg drop soup and dumplings and it all exceeded our expectations! Totally have leftover for later. This place took $56 from my spouse . when my spouse went to pick up our food the place was closed at 10 pm on 8/1/2025 although the door says it closes at 11 pm on Friday.My spouse went in today 8/2/2025 (Saturday) to resolve the issue and see if he could still get our food since they took his money and the woman said she could give him food if he paid again.... but why would he pay another $56 for food he never received... Unfortunately the food is good here but the person who claims that she' is the owner named Alisa accused me of "yelling at her " when I was asking about the difference of their dishes over the phone .. I advised her I was not yelling and I was speaking normal- she is very unprofessional and to make false accusations of a customer when I'm asking simple questions about the food is unnecessary. It made this experience a bad experience and for someone to be the owner and to treat their customers like that is uncalled for. I addressed this in person since it was a to go order and she continued to tell me I was yelling at her. I stated that maybe my phone is loud but I was not yelling and I don't appreciate false accusations when I'm simply trying to place an order over the phone. There is a way to communicate to a customer and if the phone is loud then say so - but falsely accusing someone of yelling "at them" is completely beyond me. This place is an okay all America- Chinese food place. I wouldn't expect it to be more than that. One thing I will say is at least they are always consistent. I gave them a three stars because of the following: 1. Consistency- at least I know what I am expecting and will always be getting. The food quality is on par as any other American Chinese place I've been too. I lived in NY for two years and I wouldn't say it's as good as that but for what it is, it's appreciable. 2. The service is always fast. Whether I put in an order or call in, I've never waited more than 15 minutes max. Even for large 8-9 plate orders. Always the same time...which is great. 3. Can never go wrong with their sesame chicken and General tsao's. Always a simple go to in terms of flavor, pricing 4. The portions here are large! You can get by with 2-3 servings per dinner plate, which I would say is a bang for your buck. Salt. As in there's none. I found a hair in my house fried rice which was bland. The lemon chicken has a super thick breading, in which half was essentially raw, and the sauce tasted store bought and artificial. Kung Pao Beef was completely flavorless and not spicy at all. Fried dumplings were decent, chicken egg rolls were good and crispy, and the highlight would be the bbq pork lo mein, however i've had much better. Overall everything was lacking salt, flavor, and seasoning. Large portions and quick service, I do not recommend eating here. read more

Food is absolutely amazing and delicious! I worked here for over 15 years and never got tired of the food. I am far from home now and I miss this place so much. I realize in El Paso it's nearly impossible to find good Chinese food, even harder to find authentic Chinese food. Most of it is altered for the American palette. So I had what I thought were realistic expectations... but even that was too high. Considering the location the atmosphere was as expected. The waitress was soft spoken to the point where I could hardly hear her, she did an ok job. We had to flag her down a couple times. Which is ridiculous as we were the only people in the place. The food was awful. I tried to find something I enjoyed about it but we even threw out the full to go boxes out as soon as we got home. I'm sure high school kids love it, big portions. But I've had really good, authentic Chinese before and this was not even close, barely resembled Chinese and quite disappointing. read more

Unfortunately this place has dropped a few stars from a few years ago. The quality has declined but I think the neighborhood has as well. They cater and rely on their high school clientele as well as the people that just want a cheap large quantity plate. There are a few plates they make that are acceptable, but stick to what you like here. Or stick to what you know. DO NOT TRY SOMETHING NEW. I have been disappointed one too many times here. They over use the sweets with low end products. Today I went in and they were doing some remodeling but have no idea what that's about. Eat at your own risk. Pulled a late night @ office and our group needed a quick take out dinner to bring back while working. I searched online and found that this place was open until 10 during the week (perfect for us!), so i decided to order a few dishes. The menu posted thanks to Yelp! users was pretty easy to use since I couldn't find a website for them. We ordered the fried dumplings, a cup of hot and sour soup, mei fun noodles, sweet and sour chicken, and the Hunan shrimp. This totaled to about $37 for three people for dinner, not bad. Our order only took 10 minutes from call in to pick up, another plus. Our food came in individual foil containers, and the soup/sweet sauce were kept separate. The fried dumplings were HUGE, looked/tasted homemade. They were different than anything I've had, the dough was particularly thick so it depends on what you're used to. The hot and sour soup was ok, average for a take out place in terms of flavor but I appreciated the tofu and mushrooms in it. Mei fun noodles were as expected, combination veggies + meat in a curry inspired noodle dish. I'm a little disappointed it wasn't more curry like or heavy in flavor, IT was very light and tasted more like powdered spices than anything else. The sweet and sour chicken was good, with a huge portion of the fried chicken. The pork fried rice that came with it tasted good but looked again, different to the eyes. I understand the owners are originally from NY, so maybe that's why. Over all, would probably order again from this location if we needed a take out night. We'll try different options too. read more

I used to come here over 10 years ago during my lunch hour when I attending High School. I had it last night and it was wasn't as delicious as I remembered it being. A bit sad about that, but anytime I come back home to El Paso I'm always going to Carlos and Mickey's, Chico's Taco's , Taco Cabana and Cattlemens. So I was determined. I paid $17 for two very full dishes I of course ordered the Sesame Chicken and my boyfriend ordered the orange chicken. We left so much of it behind because it was so much per person. I'm not expecting to find good Chinese food in El Paso but at least something somewhat edible. China Wok is not. Ordered the orange chicken lunch special and shrimp fried rice. The lunch special does not come with soup or an egg roll if you order to go I guess since we weren't given any? It was a big portion but very rubbery, tuff chicken. The shrimp fried rice has an odd yellow color. The shrimp were small and had a bad taste to them. Even the ton of onions couldn't mask the bad taste. I know these places are trying to cut costs but you will not gain customers serving stale, non authentic food. read more

There were SO MANY Bone Fragments found in their Chicken! VERY SHARP AND HARD Bone Fragments. Not to mention the "Chicken" doesn't even taste like Chicken. They are Abnormally Shaped Pieces of some kind of Meat with a Dry, Hard to Chew, and Unpleasant Taste. The Sauce they drizzle on the Meat is liquidy and has NO Authentic, Home-Made-From-Scratch taste. It's most likely Pre-Packaged Ready-To-Use Commercialized Sauce they throw on everything they "Make". 2 of my Teeth got cracked on the Top Left Side of my mouth from the Sharp Bones in the Meat. This was So Embarassing considering I bought $68 Bucks worth of this Trash to feed my Guests (Friends and Family) at my house, who also experienced Bone Fragments in their Food. We All Did Not hesitate to stop eating this Trash Immediately. Called and made a Complaint, instead of them offering some kind of Solution or Assistance, they HUNG UP ON ME. I can't even Believe they're STILL in Business. I don't get it. Save yourself the TIME and TROUBLE, your HARD EARNED CASH, and your TEETH. Avoid this China Wok on Lee Trevino across Hanks High School. Unless you want Meat that I'm not even sure is Actual "Chicken" with Sharp Bones in Every Bite, be my guest. I have Pictures of some of the Bones I found in the "Chicken". If there is an Option Available to Post them on here, I will. Please Beware of Restaurants like these who don't give a Rat's A** Which is probably the kind of Meat they use. Not sure if there are any other Restaurants that they own throughout the City.. I know they Own this place and the Stores right next to theirs, which they Rent Out. Just Be Careful and Beware of their way of Business. They only care about MONEY. Not the QUALITY and SAFETY of their Food. If you know of any other Restaurants they own, Please Comment and Post so not only myself, but EVERYONE can be Advised and Warned. We Need to Advocate for Us, the Consumers!! We need to use our Freedom of Speech and Social Outlets like this one to exercise our Rights as Consumers and Paying Customers.
