The food was decent, read same as usual. Our waitress dressed in some pants that squeaked when she walked. I found it annoying when she literally stood behind my chair and reached over my shoulder to retrieve a straw wrapping from the table as I was raising a fork to eat my food. Went to try "youpo" noodles for the first time and turned out they didn't have it... so I had to order alternative and I chose Lan Zhou Spicy Beef Noodle Soup. Less than a minute, the soup was on my table. Faster than any fast food chain lol I have never had this type of noodle soup, so I am not sure if that was authentic/traditional taste, but in general, any Chinese dish has strong "umami" to it, which this soup didn't. Really enjoyed the spring rolls- what's not to like- and the veggie dumplings were tasty as well. Both fillings were flavorful which was great because sometimes veggie fillings are very bland. D4 and D5 - noodles with veggies, both dishes ended up being very similar although D5 had a lot more sauce. Heads up- the noodle dish servings were huge. A little overpriced, the meal pictured below was over $30! The food is always fresh, hot, and delivery instructions are always followed for me. Beef and broccoli was very tender! So my wife, son and daughter in law were craving this place and we had never had any issues with the food being delivered on time and hot until today. It had been more than 30 minutes and still nothing so I called the restaurant and they informed me that Grub Hub had picked up the door @05:29 & it was already 06:15 & nothing so I called Grub Hub and the representative said oh it was delivered @0539. I order the Crystal shrimp dumpling, spicy wonton soup and crab cakes... the shrimp dumplings Were really small the shrimp inside the dumplings were small too felt like I was just eating the wrap. the taste was pretty bland over all small. Ordered the combination noodles with shrimp, beef and chicken, huge portion and extremely savoury and seasoned perfectly. They could have made it spicier for my taste, but the included hot oil was the perfect accompaniment. Next were the barbecue pork Bao, Extremely fluffy, tender with delicious barbecue pork. Restaurants outside the airport area seem to exist in scattered patches in El Paso. This place resides in a seemingly abandoned strip mall in a neighborhood that could have been transplanted from Phoenix. The Yelp pics make it look a lot more upscale than it is. Other than the sushi plates and rope suspended lighting, it's a fairly conventional space. There were only one other set of diners there afternoon we visited and they told us to sit anywhere we liked. We initially ordered shrimp dumplings but our waiter returned to tell us they had run out. I asked if they honor the Yelp coupon that popped up bc when I checked in but after a discussion in the back they decided it wasn't valid.... We ended up ordering far too much: king pao chicken bao, steamed veg dumplings and broccoli chicken. My bf managed to finish the dumplings all on his own but the kung pao was inedibly spicy. It felt like there were a lot of chili seeds in them and those with acid reflux are better off picking another choice of filling. I'll end up scraping the insides out to salvage the buns which were good. The broccoli chicken was ok but bathing in way too much brown sauce and was pretty salty. Rice is $2 extra but I don't know how you'd get that dish down without it. It's a big bowl of spicy wonton soup, your choice of spicy or non spicy. This bowl is enough for 2-3 people with about 8 wontons filled with beef and shrimp. For $80 we got a plate of sesame mush sugar sauce luke warm chicken, and the Kung Pao chicken was exactly the same sugary mush,and the orange beef was mushy, sugar lumps that was exactly the same, just darker. A 3 year old could have prepared a better meal. They also cheated us out of white rice (but they would have probably screwed up the white rice too). The deserts were uncooked dough sugary mush. Do yourself a favor. Instead of eating Kung Fu Noodle food, just wad up a few $20 bills and throw them in the trash. Then go hungry. You'll be way better off. Never tried this place before. After a long day at work I just wanted to sit down to a nice meal from a different location. After reviewing their menu. I placed an order through Grub Hub at 7:32. Ordered two entrees and an order of egg rolls for the family. I received notification that my driver was on his way to pick up the order and that I should receive my food at 8:01PM to 8:11PM. I was eagerly waiting the food to arrive. At 8:36 over an hour of waiting, I received a message from Grub hub from the restaurant, stating that the order was canceled. Reason for this notification was, "restaurant closed". But on Yelp restaurant hours from 10:30AM to 9:30PM. I was refunded my money. I was not given any type of apology for canceling my order. We finally have a good Chinese restaurant on the east side of town. The restaurant is spotless and beautifully decorated. We were the only people dining in unfortunately, but they had a steady pick up business. The dinner started out with a deliciously flavored vegetable soup. I ordered the spicy garlic eggplant with vegetables. I have to say, that it was the most delicious dish I've ever eaten at any Chinese restaurant. My husband had the spicy beef noodle soup, which was full of vegetables, noodles and meat, the broth was flavorful and had such depth of flavor. The steamed bao with beef and onion was served with chili oil which I found to be bland and it didn't add anything to flavor the bao, so I asked for Chinese vinegar which took the bao to the next level. I never give a restaurant five stars but Kung Fu Noodles definitely deserved it, I hope the quality of their food continues on this level. I am going back on Monday with a friend just to make sure.
