Grand China Buffet was a great find while we were in El Paso! The selection is HUGE, and there really is something for everyone. I was impressed by how many different options they had, from traditional Chinese buffet favorites to seafood, sushi, Mongolian-style options, fresh fruit, and plenty of desserts. Everything we tried was flavorful, and the buffet was well stocked throughout our visit. I especially appreciated being able to try a little bit of everything without feeling like the quality was sacrificed for the variety. The restaurant is spacious with plenty of seating, and the staff was friendly and attentive without constantly hovering over us. For the amount of food and variety you get, I also thought the price was very reasonable. It's exactly what I want from a good buffet: lots of choices, good food, friendly service, and the freedom to go back and find something completely different every time. We definitely left full and happy! If you're in El Paso and craving a Chinese buffet with tons of variety, Grand China Buffet is absolutely worth a visit. Came with my family to eat , got greeted by the cashier and I asked for a plate to be weighted because as a bariatric person with half a stomach I can't eat a whole as plate of food it was explained to her, mind you we were in town for an appointment it's been a long day still have a long drive back home of like 2 hrs. But no one cares right ! The cashier says that I can't eat here with my weighted plate so I tell her if she can ask please since all my family was going to eat and theirs other places that are ok with it, she asked the owner or boss and he rudely told her to not ask him questions in front of customers didn't bother to come up to us or anything , ‍ I felt bad for her as she looked like she felt awkward since he told her rudely, so I just told her that's fine just let them eat. So I sat out on eating ‍ ambiance regular big sitting buffet. Everyone eating their food minding their own food, if you don't let customers eat with a weighted plate that they are paying for then why even use those plates. The food is tasty and they have a good variety including several vegetarian options. Normally the service is ok, but tonight we had a male waiter who I'd rather not have again. We had to go find him multiple times to get drink refills, and we weren't there long. Very dirt atmosphere it looks like they need to get a day or two and just do a deep clean on there restaurant the rugs look dirty and all of the tables and seats look like they need cleaned and sanatizedz, the Coke or pepsi never have gas tastes like water and sugar every time we go, the food its either cooked to much or not cooked enough, i think it needs better management and someone that can try the food before putting it on the heaters. read more

Regular GCB.. Food is just buffet quality. The facility is pretty old. Very busy all the time and which is why your server never come back for refills. I see so many people are waiting in line on weekend. (Especially on Sunday after church time) In the back, they have a room for bigger companies. They have a lot of different items in the buffet, which is nice. However, they weren't doing a very good job keeping it well-stocked throughout the night. There were about 5 other families there when I went and the service was still pretty slow, but the waitresses and hostesses were friendly. I didn't really like the majority of the food that I tried. The sushi was probably my favorite item. They also had a lot of decent desserts. When I was there, there were children running all over the place. They were pretty loud and they were touching all of the food in the buffet. One of them even picked something up, took a bite, and then put it back.
