Let's start with the food, it tasted very "decent" at best and NONE of it blew me away. It's sad to say that the previous Golden Panda restaurant was replaced for this quality, not to mention some of the food wasn't even fully cooked! Dropped in after passing this place more times than I can count, and finally decided to go inside with a few people who go regularly. When I walked in I was surprised how clean it was (the outside building seems a bit unwelcoming). When we were seated, it was your typical Chinese buffet with the same chairs you always see, and similar layout. When I got up and got food, I was worried there wouldn't be any options because of the buffet layout, but, it hit the checkmarks for what to expect from a Chinese buffet. The food was fresh, and tasty. My issues are the pricing is not Zephyrhills pricing. The price is almost 21 per person for lunch, when all the other areas charge 15 at the max. Also, although I went in when they opened, a few of their items were already over cooked (most likely left over night). We were seated right away. Wait staff took drink order right away, we ordered Pepsi and immediately were so excited about the selection of foods. They have three rows of buffets, this had the usual Asian buffet items. In the back area there is sushi, hibachi, and a small ice cream area. In the hibachi area, you cannot add your own garlic, hot sauce, or sauces. The noodle choices were regular noodle or chow mei fun. For the meat options there was choice of chicken, beef, and shrimp. I chose the beef and it was cooked tenderly and thoroughly. Everything was hot and fresh. Drinks were kept filled. All the staff were nice and accommodating. The bathroom (ladies) was clean. 3 stars because it's just okay. People are friendly, responsive, quick with refills, clearing table and keeping the buffet full. The sushi selection is small but what the do have is fairly decent. Rest of the buffet was about the same. Some dishes are pretty good and others are not. Nothing really stood out from the rest. 1st of all the food should be hot that is on the bar!! 2nd Don't let a table in then middle of the floor use a booth behind someone(us) to change their kids diaper and then whoever saw my face says oh she was just taking a nap!!! Like I didn't just sit there and watch the lady change the diaper!!! 3rd we are eating and look up and some lady is standing at the bar and eating the whole time she is fixing her plate. The food is good, the problem is that for me personally there's not much variety of what I like especially when compared to the previous buffet that was here before. This was right when they opened but for example there was no pepper steak and the beef with broccoli has a spicy sauce instead of a brown sauce. Those are the two main things that I eat at buffets. So I am pretty much limited to fried rice, lo mein, and fried stuff, which is good, just for the price I don't eat enough to justify going here! read more

New place in town, we visited shortly after opening and the line was out the doorway. The fever has died, no wait now. The buffet is good and has the usual of Asian buffets. Not going to lie, garlic string beans taste a little spoiled. I've eaten Chinese literally all over American and these are the only ones that ever tasted sour. General Tso chicken tasted cold and old. My family and I went during early dinner hours so maybe they just kept stuff over from lunch. To cap it off, I had a party of 4 which included: Myself, my wife, and 4 year old twins. The host clearly looked at my kids and tried to charge them as adults ‍. Just came from Royal Buffet,Zephyrhills. The food on the buffet line was fresh and constantly being refilled. The hibachi part was delicious. The wait staff was very friendly and seemed to be helping each other refilling drinks and clearing used plates. They were careful to ask if you were done with your plate. Well, I must say they did a great job on remodeling, but it felt cold and uninviting. There are too many chairs and tables for the restaurant. I don't enjoy sitting 6 inches from a person. I don't know. The food is mediocre did not care for the egg rolls. They were bland. The spring rolls were OK. The best part of the restaurant was the hibachi grill. My granddaughter had her food from the grill and it was delicious. Might give it another chance in a few weeks. read more
