Pretty good as usual. Love their crab rangoon, sweet and sour sauce, coconut shrimp and cheesy crab. I do wish their chicken quality was better as it is often fatty and gristly. Their matcha ice cream is pretty good and so is the banana pudding too, This place is a good asian buffet with a lot of options. read more

HOT AND SOUR SOUP: 3.75 STARS More hot than sour, that is ok, last few places have tended towards sour. TASTINESS OF VARIOUS CHICKEN ENTREES: 3.5 STARS One spitting of of guk into napkin, otherwise good enough. CHEESECAKE : 4 STARS FOOD BEING HOT: 4 STARS CLEANLINESS: 4 STARS There was one dude frantically sweeping like he had chugged a Red Bull. VALUE: 3 STARS $15 dollar lunch, no senior discount. Did include whiskery fish and hibachi, not relevant to us. EXTRA CHARGE FOR FOOD WASTE: I would be curious to see that enforced. Not relevant to me, as unless I encounter surprise yukkiness, I eat everything I took, and I do not take excessive trips up. SUMMARY: 3.5 STARS Yes I would stop in again. read more

Visited this buffet and I can truly say it was a great experience! This was my first time visiting with my friend Jenny we came for lunch maybe 39 minutes after they opened their doors. The inside was very clean the buffet looked very well organized, and everything on it looked fresh. There was plenty of food in all different kinds of varieties and they had a nice selection of sushi and you could also get hibachi. We had about two plates before we were incredibly stopped the food was tasting great. The only issue I had was with their general sao chicken it wasn't spicy at all in the chicken meat itself wasn't very pleasant. But overall, it was a great experience and definitely would visit again. read more

I'm sticking with my original review from several years ago. Not much has changed. Sub par food. If you're looking for Chinese food, you'll have about 4 options. There only one I liked was the honey chicken. The coconut shrimp was disgusting flavored and slimy. The bourbon chicken dry, hard, and gross. Krab Rangoon gross. Spring roll gross. Salt and pepper shrimp, gross. I had the veggie rice noodles, which are the equivalent to Filipino pancit. Not really any veggies in it, and not much flavor. But okay. They don't have signs posted everywhere anymore saying if you don't eat all your food they'll charge extra. So idk if that's still a thing. Anyway. We won't be back. We gave it a few years and nope. Oh! We paid $20 per person for the Sunday dinner buffet. They didn't even have the traditional sugar donuts. Nothing fun to put on the ice cream. Skip this one. read more

This place is great depending on what you're looking for. Are you looking for authentic Chinese food? Then it's proabably not your cup of tea. But if you're looking for a buffet with sushi, hibachi, and a side of protein, then you're set. My recommendation is to go for seafood than other protein since they can be a bit dry. But the sushi bit is actually pretty good & i can see why they would offer sushi takeout as an add-on. The service was actually pretty nice and quick (never left my soda unattended). The food rotation was pretty frequent and the food area was clean too. The picture is my personal recommendation to try! read more

Asian Buffet - Salmon sushi, salmon nigiri, crawfish boil, spiced shrimp, coconut shrimp - Buffets Near Me - Wesley Chapel, Florida

First time and we left full and satisfied. It's been a very long time since we have enjoyed an Asian buffet. There are not that many in the area. Well Asian Buffet did not disappoint. Everything was fresh. Everything was hot. And the flavor of the food was so good. There was 5 of us in our party celebrating my husband's birthday and everyone had something different. My husband was looking forward to some crab legs. Maybe another time. But overall the birthday dinner was a hit. Let me call out one particular item. The Honey Chicken. Soooo Good!! read more

Our ABSOLUTE FAVORITE Asian buffet in all of Tampa. I am Asian and super picky, and this buffet is the best around town. Their food is always HOT & FRESH! They have a HUGE VARIETY of Chinese, thai peanut chicken (so yummy!), japanese hibachi & sushi, and so much more! All of it is DELICIOUS, and again HOT & FRESH! We drive over 30 minutes just to come to this one. The restaurant is super clean, has spacious seating, with very FRIENDLY and attentive staff--always have a full drink. Just to try it, so worth it!!! read more

I added videos of this buffet to show how fresh and full they keep the buffet. It's clean, it's delicious and you will want to go back. We drove from Riverview passing several Asian buffets but this one is the best. It's worth the 35min drive. The staff is friendly, the establishment is clean, including the bathroom. You won't be disappointed. Enjoy read more

Not good if you're gluten free. Lots of cross contamination. Little gf options. What really bothered me though was that I called in advance to get the cost for Sunday afternoon buffet. They quoted $20.99 per person all day. Three of us went. The final bill was 10% more. We thought the tip was automatically added. The server came up and loudly and rudely told us it was not the tip but 10% for using a credit card, (which was not disclosed on the phone or the receipt). The whole room could hear her. At that point we considered the bill paid. Sorry, no tip after that display. Won't be back. read more

I eat here quite often and am always seated promptly. The service is great, as dishes are cleared and water refilled constantly. The food is great for the value. I frequent the sushi, pepper chicken, seafood delight and the shellfish bar. I've been coming for years and will continue to do so! read more

this restaurant is a buffet and it has everything that you can imagine. Everything is hot and tasty and a lot of variety if you're looking for Asian food this is the spot to check. read more

The only thing I can say, it's very pedestrian more fruit than food. Don't think I'll be returning.

Good price and good service. They give a discount for paying cash and there is a senior discount as well. It's standard asian buffet food, but consistent and frequently refilled. I recommend sticking to hot foods, and not so much hibachi grill. Sushi is okay. Over good food, decent price, no wait and friendly service. read more

Food was good, price was reasonable and services were superb. Great for families of all sizes. It was crowded, but enough seats to accommodate all guests. Food was constantly filled and the staffs were very kind. We can't wait to come again! read more

Love this place. Great variety of food. They were pretty busy and food was constantly being brought out fresh. Waiter was very friendly and cleared our plates promptly. Clean and bright place. Sushi was fresh. Interesting seafood. My young adult children feel nostalgic coming here. Overall Very good value for what you get. read more

The latest reviews about the food being okay are correct. We went for dinner on a Saturday and it was pretty busy. The sushi was okay but everything else was pretty "mid". I wish there was more flavor. We saw a lot of people with sushi on their plates which if you're just wanting to eat the basic then you can go here. Customer service was okay. Unfortunately, not worth the price. read more

Pros: Generally clean dining area and buffet line. The buffet dishes seem to be restocked frequently (Et tu, Indian buffets?) The servers are good about refilling sodas despite the throngs of clients. There are both Chinese fast food dishes and western dishes in addition to Japanese sushi and desserts like Jello/chocolate pudding, various cakes. Cons: If you want a quite and peaceful meal, do not come here at prime dining time on the weekend. I came at 6 , but by 7 it was pure cacophony. Also, there was a wait after 715 pm. (I haven't really been to any buffets except Minerva post Corona and for the last 11 years Ive lost interest in them in general) The Chinese staple dishes like Bourbon chicken, Gen. Tso, Pepper Steak were pretty tasty. The peel and eat shrimp was solid. However, the sushi was very mushy and not fresh. Avoid. Also the various cakes/cheesecakes were underwhelming and not worth the stomach space IMO. The biggest strike is that the dinner price EVERYDAY is $19. I know COVID etc, but I was shocked. By the time you add soda, tax/tip, it is basically $25/person. It shouldn't be more than $15 tops. If I was in charge, I'd remove the Western dishes and scale back on the desserts.. Who goes to an Asian place for roast pork lol? Misc: They charge you for uneaten food so don't waste! Overall: Unless you have to feed a pregnant Lizzo or many teens, it's not worth it. read more

This was our first time eating here. We love buffets and I have to say this was one of the best Chinese buffets we've ever been to. All the food was absolutely delicious. The service was great and empty plates were whisked away quickly. Offers to refill our drinks were offered at least 3 times. We're planning to go back in February for my hubbys birthday. read more

I finally decided to try this place and was pleasantly surprised to see how busy they were. Just what you want in a buffet restaurant to ensure food is turning over to be fresh. There are lots of choices from soup to dessert to please any diner. Unfortunately the food was not very tasty when compared with other Asian restaurants in the area. Hot and sour soup was the best item I had but not as good as many other places I've been. General Tso chicken was mushy rather than crisp. Pot stickers were overdone and lacked flavor. They do provide a discount for paying cash. If you like the endless food that makes buffets popular, then go for it. If you want more flavor I'd suggest there are other options. read more

Food was bland, no taste. $20 on the weekend just to leave with stomach pains and foos poisoning. No white rice anywhere? Miso soup was tasteless and desserts were not good. Kids climbing on the food. I seriously don't know how this place makes any money. Never ever again. Doesn't deserve one star read more

Lots of different items but flavor was just there on alot. Some food was cold, crab rangoons had little flavor & if one did it was fishy tasting. KUDOS, and thanks for the superior quality customer service to the staff at Asian Buffet! The restaurant is very clean and the food is fresh. I especially loved the ample supply of Egg Foo Yong with gravy, egg custard tarts, and flan. The seaweed salad and sushi were very tasty. They have a variety of everything on the buffet. There was even sugar-free almond ice cream! I encourage all to come visit and support this local business. read more

This could have been a 4...but desserts here ruined it, mainly egg and custard cake..do not get them. Especially that custard cake that looks like flan. No sugar and cream?! Did someone forget to add them? Please tell me this was just a mistake that day. And egg tart just had a hard baked egg on the tart crust. Just egg taste allnup in your face. None of us could swallow a bite. The rest of the meals were pleasant. I really liked the sushi bar and even hibachi. I really liked the variety of cuisine available to include plethora of American food. Awesomely selected protein choices. Wish crab legs were hot vice vold. Great value ~$17 for all you can eat adult dinner? I can see the attraction. I also felt myself getting a little bit heavier as I sat here and ate so much sushi. read more

The food is usually fresh and is very good! Restrooms are clean. The restaurant is clean.

3.5 stars. Definitely NOT a bad buffet. The quantity & quality of food is not @ issue. The good service & spacious, clean dining area w/ tables & booths are not @ issue, although the brown room decor is outdated. The extended hours & cleansing table @ the entrance are also not an issue. What IS @ issue is the $17.99 cost per person when almost all of the food offerings are low in cost. Yes, there are cold crab legs, cold shrimp, sushi, sashimi, & crawfish, but no combination is worth $17.99 unless the diner makes multiple trips to the food bars for those few specific items. For $17.99, I expected to see more higher priced/higher quality prepared foods. The beautiful food bar (w/ its pink lighting) consists of many sections-- appetizers, salads, cold entrees, hot entrees, a sushi bar, a Mongolian barbecue (which wasn't available upon our visit), desserts, & ice creams. The food bar was clean & well stocked. The cost of an adult meal jumped $1 to $17.99 due to Covid. Even @ $16.99, the cost would be too high. I wont return; I simply don't eat enough to justify spending the money. The two individuals I covered also didn't eat enough to sanction a subsequent visit. (At $9.99 per person, I'd return, but that ain't ever gonna happen:) read more

You be the judge. After adding sushi to my to go box I was unaware it was an additional charge. It was only 3 (max 4) pieces and none was specially rolls so I ask to dispose of them myself... instead the guy insisted, took my plate, stuck his hands in to remove them and put them to the side!!! I actually commented are you going to put them back. No response. It was so obvious that's exactly what he did!!!!
