Sometimes my fiance and I just get a craving for Chinese food but we want a little bit of EVERYTHING so the buffet is the place to go except near us, we don't have a decent one. We were in the area and decided to try this place out and so glad we did. You can't beat the price for the number of options this place has. Everything was fresh, delicious and they kept bringing out different dishes. I tried just about everything but my favorite was their lo-mein noodles and steamed veggies and mushrooms. The place was very clean and not old and dingy like a lot of the Asian buffets you see. They did a really nice job with the colorful lighting too we noticed and decor. If you've had Bariatric surgery and want a small to go plate while your family enjoys the buffet. Do not go there. Our oldest daughter came to visit and we wanted her to eat there with us. I can only eat baby portions and they did it for new years. Today from the get go the two older ladies in the front said no. You can say that and then get more food. I was so embarrassed I told her to please stop and just charge 2 meals and I wouldn't eat but she kept saying no, you can take food if we're not looking. I came here with my daughter and showed my card stating I had bariatric surgery. they said they only can have me pay for a Togo box still charge me full price. I got my good and went to my table and 5 mins after one of the worker came over literally yelling The place got quiet and everybody was looking at us. she said no no you can do that eat at the table with my Togo box with my daughter. We came here on a Saturday night. I was pleasantly surprised! It was $16.99 for dinner and there was quite a lot to choose from. There was a lot of different Asian dishes, I'd highly recommend the coconut shrimp! There was also sushi, soups, king crab legs, crawfish, mussels, tilapia, salmon, French fries, and a lot of different items to choose from, however a lot of it was fried. Lunch was $11.99 and I believe they even had breakfast as well! I thought the sushi bar and seafood assortment was most impressive. Everything sat on ice and was kept very cold. Even the sushi was kept on ice trays. That's important when visiting buffets. I'm very weary about which food I eat, especially seafood, but this was well kept. Overall, I am very impressed! The only complaint I have is that they didn't accept my Yelp check in coupon. They told me I had to print it out and bring it in next time. That was disappointing. I'm a Uber driver and thought I would stop here for a dinner at 8 PM considering I will be working until 5 AM. I was worried it was gonna be bad based off the 3 star this restaurant has. One of the best Asian food buffets in the greater Tampa Bay Area. I prefer the dinner buffet since it has more shrimp options around. The seafood is of better quality than most other buffets, like the cold shrimp cocktail and the fresh salmon sushi. My husband loves the peanut chicken and will call before we go to make sure it's there on the bar. I absolutely love the service in the sushi/hibachi area. Those 2 young men are a great help and cook to order is perfect. Then dessert with hand dipped ice cream. I read some talk about pricing. I find it fair for a buffet. If I go to any hibachi it's 17.99 just for a plate. Now I can't take left overs home at a buffet but this is my perfect dinner here: I have a sushi appetizer, hibachi where I control my portion, and then ice cream dessert with a chocolate chip cookie. This Chinese all you can eat buffet is one of my favorite places to load up on protein. I am a pretty picky eater when it comes to different types of food. In other words I don't eat sushi or dumplings or any kind of veggie, but I love chicken and this place has a very wide variety of chicken choices. My favorite is their peanut chicken, in fact I would come here if that's all they served. It was four of us and all my wife just wanted was what was on the menu so there would have been 3 adult buffets. We told this to the waitress who got the manager. The manager was rude and unprofessional. When we told this to the manager she stated, this is a buffet place, we asked, then why do you have food you can take home? The manager decided to speak to someone on the phone at that same time. Had walked past this gem many times but only tried it today. Fantastic buffet of many tasty dishes with something for everyone. Great hibachi grill will cook anything you want from their ingredient bar. Lots of great options for kids as well. I had some good sushi, coconut shrimp, chicken and broccoli, egg drop soup, and a few other items that were all on point. Very affordable, good service and tasty food. I'm not the type to leave a review unless I have a bad experience unfortunately... Food was not so much the issue as the service this time. I don't want to specify who the server was but I think a lot of others have complained about the same person. My wife and I felt very rushed and the check came to us very early. The waitress came back and checked to see if we had left a payment within the first minute and kept hovering until I did put my card in there. Then she came back with it and told me to sign and hovered around until I did and then visually and verbally said the amount and scoffed, getting upset with the tip that I left. Granted it wasn't much but typical buffet you pay before you eat and that's that.... I guess they do it different here though. After she got upset with my tip she became rude and started passive-aggressively taking the dishes off our table. I confronted her over her issue and said I could have chose to not leave a tip and she made a scene in front of multiple of the other tables and other staff and started ranting that she did not charge me for a refill on my drink... refills are free btw... I would rather pay more for my overpriced food and have the staff paid a better wage than feel obligated to leave a tip. I absolutely despise tip culture. PAY YOUR EMPLOYEES MORE... CHARGE MORE FOR THE FOOD... DON'T EXPECT YOUR CUSTOMERS TO PAY YOUR STAFF. OVERPRICED... Not enough good options to be worth the price... and not so much Asian food as the name would lead you to believe. WILL NOT RETURN OVER THIS NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE. Love that this buffet is close to my neighborhood: ) this is a great option if you've got picky eaters in the group or are short on time. The buffet is BIG with lots of options, a sushi bar and a hibachi area are on the back wall. Everything seems really clean and always replinished unlike some buffets where thibgs sit half full. The server wasn't friendly at all and considering the raise in price change, I would think they would treat their customers with a bit more courtesy. She came once I signed and opened up the checkbook in front of me and pointed to the receipt. She yelled at me pointing saying I didn't give enough (mind you, i tip the average amount) and told me to give more. I wanted to take the cash and leave. This buffet is great!! They have lots but I mean LOTS to choose from. Everything was so clean and well organized, you wouldn't think so many people ate there. They have fried food, seafood, hibachi station and sushi. They had a few signature Japanese meals and desserts. The waitresses were constantly checking if we needed anything else and very friendly. It's located in a large strip mall so there are plenty of parking spots. It's a large location so there are plenty of seats, even for large parties. I have been dining here since they opened and the food and selection was wonderful. Today 3/24, things were different. They have rearranged the inside so that there is no longer a logical flow. This also disguises the fact that many favorites are gone. There is no more lunchtime pricing and yet things like ribs and crab legs were conspicuously missing. Most hot entrees were cold as well as the soup. I wasn't even able to get hot tea, just hot water. Normal requests like sugar, lemon or more water required numerous requests and I still never received them. Consider this was 4:00 pm and they were not busy, imagine how bad the service will be during normal dining hours. I spoke to the manager who was nonplussed. Was very satisfied by this restaurant. The sushi here was very good and there were SEVERAL types to choose from as well. Noticed that the entire time I was at this buffet there was someone constantly rotating food and replacing with fresh food. The service was also very good as well. As far as Asian buffets go this would have to be one of the cleanest most well maintained that I've been to in a long time. As someone who has spent anywhere from $100-$5.99 on buffets across America, I look forward to being hungry in New Tampa around lunch or dinner. I have been here at least 6 times now and can't find a good reason to stop. Of course I prefer the dinner offerings because of the crab legs and oysters, but lunch is no slouch either. They touch all the bases with a wide variety of fresh food, mostly attractive and attentive waitstaff, reasonable prices and a clean environment. I rarely see children here and if you park behind LabCorp you won't have to worry about door dings from the cramped and loaded main parking lot. I really think this place would benefit from a more glamorous name, but it's nice that most people glaze over Asian Buffet and I find a ready booth where I can charge my phone every time I come. read more

Good variety of food, however vegetables tasted like seafood, egg roll filling too salty, lo mein noodles were not marked spicy and contained hot peppers, which my husband is allergic to. Sushi was not bad for a buffet, it was fresh and contained many flavors and variety. I am accustomed to paying $12 for a basic buffet and $14 for a very good one. Tonight we paid $16.99 per plate. Way too high. There is a sign on the tables which informs diners that if you leave too much food on your plates when they are taken away, you will be charged for that. This is NOT a full service restaurant, but the dining room hosts that bring the drinks and remove the empty plates expect a full tip - the receipt even suggests amounts to pay. This is odd to me because every other buffet I have been to does not allow tipping. The bill was brought to my table and I put my card on it. When the slips were brought back, I indicated on the tip section of the slip that I had left cash on the table. To my horror, the host collected the credit card slip from the table while we were still sitting there then asked us for the cash tip. We indicated the cash on the table and she sneered at it. "THIS is the tip?" Apparently she expected more. I don't know if this occurs anywhere else in Florida, but FYI that is very rude. Once the credit card slip is signed, it and the tip, should not be collected until the customer leaves and tips are NEVER commented on to any customer for that table or nearby diners. For these reasons we won't be returning to this restaurant. read more
