I can only speaking on Ash the piercer.... She was awesome.. I used to have several ear piercings but because of issues healing I ended up having to take 4 out of 7 piercings out. I got my tragus pierced and there is no pinching or redness at all. There is a bit of swelling but that is to be expected. She did a fantastic job and walked me through the aftercare process!! She has her own room for privacy which is very nice and an incredible selection of earrings. My one advice:: Call and make an appointment! After being turned down several times by reputable piercers in California and New York, I had given up on ever piercing my septum. Until I met ASH!!! She took one look at my nose and knew exactly what to do. She took her time marking me perfectly, I took a deep breath, blew my breath out, and boom she was done!! I felt ZERO pain!!! That's when you know you've pierced correctly thru the "sweet spot" the only pain was when she had to slide the jewelry in. Healing took me 3 months. As long as you clean it under water during a shower you're good. Ash pierced up high, which is where the sweet spot is also by piercing high you can flip and hide your septum ring for work. Truly a spiritual experience. I waited 3 years for her. She's such a sweet heart and down to earth, cool AF love her!!!!! read more

Here's an update on my cartoon tattoo. I just signed up to pay over $8,000.00 over the next 18 months to have this horrible tattoo I got at Royal Avenue burned off with a laser. This tattoo was supposed to be a significant statement. A source of pride, and an attractive piece. I hate it.every time I see it in the mirror I cringe. I never take my shirt off, even when I am home alone. I only get into my pool after dark. My advice to anyone thinking about getting their first tattoo is think some more. Don't be satisfied choosing a shop. Research the artist. This place came recommend by two people. The problem was they hired a guy who the owner later described to me as "a good biker, but a bad tattoo artist". His appraisal coming after the fact, was little comfort. To recap, I spent $250.00 for the initial tattoo. Two weeks later I paid another $250.00 to make I look less shity. Now I am paying$8,000.00 to rid myself of this blob of ink. I may yet get the tattoo I wanted. This time, I will have a gun in my hand. (Just kidding). But I will not let a good biker do it. read more
