Piercing is done with a needle versus a gun but he was very precise with the location of the piercings and confirmed the placement before the poke. Unfortunately being retired and in a new town and with friends who have virgin skin, I take hesitation just going into any tattoo shop. So, when my daughter decided to get her first tattoo I was excited yet apprehensive at first. After some research she settled with La Familia Tattoo Parlor and made an apt with Mystyk. Mystyk explained the paperwork, the process and even explained follow up care. Answered any questions my daughter had...which to a young adult is very minimal!! LOL Anyway, my daughter loved her first tattoo so much she went back and got a second one. I have to say Mystyk did a beautiful job and I'm considering to get another one here too! The shop is very clean, and they disinfect their areas after each customer. Every thing is kept nice and tidy. They even have mobile panel dividers for privacy...for your tattoos in private areas! I got a glimpse of another artist working on a sleeve and it was coming along beautifully. I think you just need to take the time and see which artist suits your personality and style you're looking for. Bottom line, do your homework. I give this place 5 stars for checking off all the marks for me and especially my daughter. Be sure you interview before you settle on something that's going on your body!
