Called in a takeout order and picked it up. Food was ready pretty quick considering it was peak dinner time. It's also my fault for not checking but didn't realize till I got home that I didn't get any of the 4 sauces selected. Also didn't get my extra gravy that costed $1.75. On that note, the loco moco didn't have much gravy on it either. The garlic chicken was good but was primarily breading, even more so than usual. Overall Hawaiian food is usually always good but the quality is always variable when coming to this location.

The staff are friendly, and I often get food here for lunch. They're quick and efficient! I've had a few times where they messed up my order. They fixed it, and the owner gave me a free meal as compensation for the inconvenience. The owner is super humble. Great Hawaiian spot overall! Highly recommend!

I just moved today into the neighborhood and I was super tired and hungry. I was kindly greeted and offered a sample of the bomb chicken special. I forget the name but it was delicious ! That's what I ordered. Spicy grilled chicken. What a great way to end the stressful day of moving. The other staff were all so kind and helpful too. Those little things are noticed. And appreciated. Even tho they were busy! The cook gave off the good vibes and overall I really loved stopping in even when I ordered to go. I'm def going back!! You guys rock!

So Hawaiian food seems to be around in little nooks and crannies in Hillsboro. Here is one we finally tried. Roxy is a chain and we tried the one off of TV Hwy. The staff was friendly-ish and the ambiance seemed busy and upbeat. My husband and I opted to share a mixed plate of Garlic Chicken (crowd favorite) and Pineapple chicken. The Garlic chicken was definitely something to applaud. I loved every bite and would get it again. The Pineapple chicken was a bit more of a miss. Lacked a lot of flavor and felt like shreds of pineapple just thrown on top of plain chicken. Each plate is given two sauce cups so I doused the pineapple chicken in their sauce which made it a bit more bearable. The mac salad was typical and nothing special, but still would get again over rice. Overall the plate was $12 and I would come back for the Garlic Chicken. However I would need to be craving Garlic Chicken to come back, other than that it was nice to try at least onc

Hapa Pizza: A Masterclass in Fusion and Flavor If you…read morehaven't been to Hapa Pizza in downtown Beaverton, you are missing out on what is arguably the most exciting culinary evolution in the Pacific Northwest. It is rare for a restaurant to live up to "New York Times Best in the US" hype, but Hapa doesn't just meet the bar--it sets a whole new one. The Crust: A Neapolitan Dream Everything starts with the dough. They've mastered a Neapolitan-style crust that achieves the impossible: a light, airy crumb with a soulful sourdough tang and that signature wood-fired "leopard spotting." It's chewy, charred, and provides the perfect structural integrity for their bold toppings. The "Mind-Trip" Flavors What truly makes Hapa a destination is how seamlessly owners Aaron and Natalie Truong blend traditional Asian dishes with the canvas of a pizza. * The Bánh Mì Pizza: This is a revelation. The lemongrass BBQ pork is sweet and smoky, perfectly countered by the crunch of pickled daikon and carrots and a drizzle of sriracha aioli. * The Phở Pizza: It sounds like a gimmick until you taste it. The brisket, Thai basil, and hoisin-sriracha swirl actually trick your brain into thinking you're eating a bowl of noodles, but with the satisfying crunch of a pizza. * Khao Soi & Thai Curry: For those who want a kick, these pizzas bring deep, aromatic spices and creative textures (like crispy wonton strips) that you simply won't find anywhere else. Beyond the Pie Do not sleep on the sides. The Tom Yum Caesar Salad is a tangy, umami-rich masterpiece that redefines what a salad can be. And if they have the Korean Burrata or their Asian-inspired Tiramisus (like Ube or Vietnamese Coffee) on the menu, order them immediately before they sell out. The Vibe Despite the national accolades, Hapa retains its heart. The space is clean and modern, and the service is consistently praised for being warm and efficient even when the line is out the door. Final Verdict: Hapa Pizza isn't just "good fusion"--it's a world-class example of how to respect traditional techniques while fearlessly innovating. It is a mandatory stop for any food lover in Oregon. Pro Tip: They are known to sell out, so arrive early or check their social media for daily updates. Your taste buds will thank you.

The pho and banh mi were my fav! I was skeptical but the flavors were really good. It's kind of amazing how well they captured the flavors onto a pizza! The diavola was good, but more "normal" flavor that I've had at other places. I will say the crust wasn't my favorite, but I would still get it again and just not eat as much of the crust so that I can eat more slices :)

As I drove up a few customers were entering the business, as I walked in a few folks were waiting in line, this gave me a sense of comfort that folks would be waiting for to go orders and dining in. The gentleman at counter greeted me and gave me ample time to review the giant menu board. I landing on the Hot and Spicy Chicken, the meal comes with two scoops of white rice a large portions of chicken and a good sized green salad with dressing. The portions were huge, good tasting chicken, it was not that spicy but maybe for some they may find it to be, if you decided to try it is the T8. The food price was reasonable, they served the food quickly. They also have a soda fountain for a few bucks more. I will be returning to try a few other dish options. The vibe is very chill, nice quiet atmosphere.

The chicken was great as were the veggies. Also for $11 I think the price was definitely worth it. The veggies are comparable to Panda Express, which isn't a bad thing, that's just what I thought of. I ordered to go and it took less than 10 mins to get my food out so that was great! While it's not the most amazing chicken teriyaki in the world, it's a great tasting and affordable option if you're looking to grab a quick lunch. I'd eat here again and maybe try their spicy tofu or something, that sounded good when I saw it on the menu. But yea, solid lunch spot!
