The ambiance was only okay, especially being in a side room; the main room is 3 steps up but felt more like the body of a restaurant vs. the trailer of a classic NJ diner. We also all had to walk up in the end and pay separate checks instead of getting 1 or more checks delivered to our table. Diner style, sure, but not what we were expecting coming in. So I would say, between the food (we all really went breakfast-oriented), the service, and the atmosphere, it's somewhere around 4 stars on average. Not a bad place for breakfast or lunch if you can find it (it's not in the most walkable neighborhood).

Bun-patty ratio was of reasonable size, patty was juicy, and bacon was decently crispy. The onion rings were fine, but probably not something I'd order again. Seating is plentiful in here. Pretty barebones place, don't expect too much in terms of ambiance. Overall I like it. I'll return if I want something besides a fat boy burger.

And when I finally have to step up and point out that I'm still waiting, I'm the asshole! I'm the one being rude or making a scene! I just wanted what I paid for. I show up almost everyday, I'm polite, I pay cash, I don't cause problems while I'm waiting, I tip, I smile, I treat others with respect.... It would be nice to get some in return. It took almost 30 minutes for my friend and I to be served at the bar. The first time I was here I had the roundhouse mac n cheese. It was good though nothing special, but the poor service definitely cancelled out what was decent food. The second time I came here on a work dinner, where we somehow stuffed almost 20 people on a long table. Service was a lot better, though maybe it was because I was with a large group. I went during poutine week, so I had the Taco Mac n Cheese Poutine. The mac n cheese was actually mac n cheese bites, which was ehh...but I liked the concept! Cheese curds are good, size was generous, and the nacho beef was cooked well and juicy. So to cancel both visits out, I'll leave is as 3.5/5 for now. If I get good service next visit I'll be happy to bump this up to a 4.
