I've been to Roxy's a couple of times and it's always been a fun time for chilling and hanging with friends, going on a date, or meeting new people! First off, the grilled cheese part of it aka the front, honestly is so delicious it could stand alone. Their short rib grilled cheeses are unreal and the poutine hit for someone who has had poutine withdrawals in the last couple of months! There's not a ton of games, the place is relatively small but there's still some fun ones to try! To get tokens, it's $10 min for 40 tokens with card. Each night has different activities going on too and we went when they were doing karaoke! My friend sang a killer solo and it was a lot of fun! Bathroom review: 3/5 The theme was very fitting for the place but not my personal decor style, was giving a little raunchy

I think this is the standard grilled cheese

I am lumping both Roxy's into this review since only a door separated the front from the back. The food is everything!!! We came after a long day of drinking and needed some good unhealthy food cause et's be honest a great night never ends in eating a salad. We came around 8:00 on a Saturday night and walked right in. The guy at the counter helped direct us on how and what to order, thank goodness because I was overwhelmed. We all got a different grilled cheese, tots and a milkshake. Not one of us made a bad decision. After we ate we went back to the arcade for some drinks and games. The arcade was pretty crowded and it only got more packed. The space in the arcade was a bit cramped to begin with but if you add more than about 20 people walking will be tight. The drinks at the back bar were also fun but a bit too sweet for me, probably not all of them just the ones I ordered. I saw some reviews about there only being a few games unfortunately I don't think these people walked through the doors to the actual arcade. While there are a few arcade games up front there are many, many more in the back as well as a bar!

Our first time to Roxy's didn't disappoint. The Justin hamburger with caramelized onions, pickles and homemade pimento cheese was so delicious I devoured the entire thing!! Other order was the double fried chicken sandwich. No sounds out of those two once they started eating!! Pinball was a fun throwback to my teenage years.

First time here? The arcade bar is "hidden" inside Roxy's Kitchen so don't feel like you're in the wrong spot! The line was kind of long, a 30 minute wait for us around 9pm. The guy at the door was incredibly welcoming and friendly and handled people coming in and out very quickly. Once you're in, you go through the kitchen "doors" and enter the arcade bar. They offer various games, but there's definitely not enough games for everyone because you have to wait your turn for the popular games like the super Mario kart. It's $10 for 40 tokens and each game is 4 tokens while the older version games like pac man are 2 tokens. So I think it's pretty affordable to play about 10 round of games for $10. There's 2 bars, one in the front and one in the back of the arcade. You can also order off of Roxy's kitchen and they'll serve you inside the arcade. Overall, the drinks were amazing and very colorful and definitely matches the vibe of the arcade. Perfect balance of alc and juice, but definitely not something to get wasted from. This is not a place to get drunk but just a casual place to relax and get a little fuzzy while playing great games with friends

Roxy's is a delicious little experience. The front is just a small college style restaurant. The service is pretty normal for a college bar/restaurant. Busy on a Friday night. Once you get IDed and walk thru the freezer door you enter a different world. Neon, pinball machines, retro video games.. this place has something for everyone. There are two bars. One is running PlayStation and the other Xbox. You can actually sit at the bar and play whatever game is loaded up on the console. Such a fun place! I will definitely be coming back here!!!

Popular! Saturday 6pm they were not charging cover yet but it was packed inside. I only got to 2 games without waiting after circling around. The first time I went on a Saturday it was $5 cover and a long line at 9pm. The DJ played a fun mix of music. Games cost 2-4 tokens ($0.50-$1) which is not bad. 1 credit card swipe = $10 for 40 tokens. The amount of play time and fun level of each game varies a lot, and it's not all proportional to cost. It's nice that they have coat & bag hooks under tables and along the bar but I wished they had more places around the games to hang all the winter gear.

Word to the wise - this place is popular and gets packed! Especially if you're coming on a weekend night, come early or be prepared to wait in line. A4 has an interesting mishmosh of games. There are a few more modern ones, some old school "stick and button" games, a fair amount of pinball machines, and your skee-ball and basketball machine. They also have a Cruis'n Exotica racing machine- talk about a throwback! (at least for me). All together, a great selection with something for everyone. Value is pretty reasonable all things considered. Most games take somewhere between 2 and 4 tokens (four tokens to a dollar). Token dispensers also take credit cards that dispense in $10 increments. These machines also have cups up top for holding your tokens, and arcade machines have cup holders! Speaking of cupholders... there are two bars (same menu) that have drinks and food, including non-alcoholic options. While none of these blew me away, they were certainly solid - no complaints on any front. Especially where it comes to the non-alcoholic option, these were more than just a Roy Rogers or Shirley Temple. Final note: while the crowds can make it crowded, they manage to keep a more-or-less good vibe, and they have a DJ some nights. Might be hard to hear the person next to you, but not as bad as a nightclub!

Glad to see this place reopened after being closed for so long! I find A4cade to be a solid attraction if you're looking for a fun night out with good drinks and a nice variety of games. We came here after dinner on a Saturday evening and didn't have to wait, but by the time we left at around 9, there was a line out the door. If you don't want to wait, I'd recommend coming here somewhat early! They have a good selection of games ranging from old classics to more modern games ( some of my favorites are Mario Kart, skeeball, and Guitar Hero ) and the price is reasonable. You can get a lot out of $10 and there's plenty to keep you occupied. The space itself is very cramped nonetheless, they really stuffed as many games as they could along with tables and chairs as well as places to set your drinks down. It definitely felt a little stuffy being inside, but due to its popularity, it makes sense as to why it was so packed. The drink was very good - I'd love to try more of their menu another time! We both got Princess Peach's Downfall and I enjoyed it a lot. I think the mix of all the flavors complemented each other well - if you like rum based drinks that are fruity and not too sweet, I'd recommend this one! Overall, I will definitely be coming back. I actually came once before COVID as well and I'm glad to see the vibe hasn't changed too much - come for a fun time and good drinks!

I love this place. They are known for their fancy aray of cheese sandwich selections which are very tasty but their burger selections are are just as good. The double fried chicken sandwich is incredible, its both picy and sweet prepared stacked with fixin's. In fact one of the best places in the area to go for really good chicken sandwiches if you are like me and that's your thing. Customer service is fast and very good. They remember your first name and remind you of deals like punch cards. Cool and hip atmosphere.

This was suuuuch a fun place! I loved the speakeasy aspect to this arcade and it was such a welcoming place! The bartenders were so kind and helped us figure out where the token machines were and even which drinks were good! The atmosphere is very loud (it's an arcade, it sounds like one) but somehow not overwhelming! They had so many different types of games (skiball, pinball, basketball, old arcade games, new arcade games, MarioKart) so that everyone could play! The tater tots were absolutely delicious and such a perfect thing to order while playing the games, they even came out to tell me that the poutine tots weren't gluten free, which was so kind of them! The only thing I will say is that if you want to play MarioKart, you better stand next to the machine ALL NIGHT :D

A sick little speakeasy inside of Roxy's! If you haven't checked it out, you are missing out. There are all types of pin hall games and drinks. The one i tried was the cactus. In the group i was with, people tried the old fashioned styled drinks and the mock tails (rocket one). I would highly recommend this place.

Lots of fun! Great arcade vibe and exciting bar/drinks. There are not that many games so you do end up having to wait, hunt around, or play the same few over and over. Plus there isn't really anything for more than 2, so I would recommend just going in pairs. But it's a fun and different thing to do for a night out in Cambridge and I highly recommend it!

In advance, I stopped into the hotel to confirm that a gluten-free guest could be accommodated and was assured this would be handled. In reality, the accommodation was inadequate and, at times, unacceptable. While the rest of us were served scones, my stepdaughter was given cut fruit in their place, and told that was all they had to accommodate. The dessert course consisted of what appeared to be basic gluten-free cookies, misrepresented as something more gourmet - egg nog cookies??? This lack of preparation was both disappointing, upsetting and avoidable. The broader experience was equally concerning. We were subjected to an unsolicited and uncomfortable "lesson" on tea service, which detracted from what should have been a relaxed and celebratory occasion. While trying to enjoy the time with the girls, being a lifelong tea drinker and someone who has been to many times at your establishment and its various incarnations, this is something I have never experienced. The food quality was poor (scones were clearly reheated and stuck to the cloth napkin they were wrapped in), and there were notable service lapses, including being served water in a visibly shattered glass. Additionally, when hot water was added to refresh the tea, my stepdaughter's pot curdled and had to be replaced. It was especially disappointing, as I mentioned that I had stopped in and spoken with the concierge, and was assured, as they had called the kitchen while I stood there that they readily accommodated gluten-free. There are numerous places in the city that could have done this, and if you had just told me that you could not do so, I would have booked us elsewhere. I chose not to raise the multiple issues in the moment so as not to disrupt what was meant to be a special day for the girls and me. However, the total cost exceeded $500, and the experience did not come close to justifying that price point! Do not recommend.

My guess is that this is more of an evening destination where people come for cocktails and the atmosphere rather than lunch. We ordered a Diet Coke, the Scampi appetizer, Carbonara, and the Rigatoni Alla Vodka. The scampi was easily the best part of the meal. It was flavorful, cooked well, and made for a nice appetizer to start things off. Unfortunately, the pastas didn't quite meet expectations, especially considering the price. The Rigatoni Alla Vodka was $28, but the pasta wasn't cooked al dente and felt overdone. The Carbonara, also $28, was disappointing as the eggs had curdled and the dish ended up being much oilier than I expected. At $18, the scampi was enjoyable, but overall I don't think the food justified the price point. One bright spot was the service. Our waitress was incredibly kind, checked in on us frequently, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The restaurant itself is beautiful and has a very aesthetic design. I can definitely see why it's popular on social media. There is also outdoor seating, which I imagine would be a nice option on a warm summer evening. One thing I did notice, though, is how closely the tables are spaced together. Since the restaurant was mostly empty during our visit it wasn't an issue, but I could see it feeling crowded and fairly loud once the dining room fills up. I was honestly surprised by the meal because Gigi is part of the Mazi Restaurant Group, and I've really enjoyed some of their other concepts, especially Kava Neo-Taverna. Based on this experience, though, I think there are plenty of Italian restaurants in Boston that offer better food and better value for the same price. Overall, I'd give Gigi 3/5 stars. The service and atmosphere were both strong, but the food didn't live up to the pricing. If I came back, it would probably be for drinks, appetizers, and the ambiance rather than a full Italian dinner.

The Mint Condition was so refreshing and gave the illusion of a mojito but was perfect for a 8 month pregnant lady just trying to catch a vibe. The service was face and the bar was clean!! They have great seating inside the bar or you can sit on the outdoor patio. They have comfortable lounge couches and tables for larger parties! The view is impeccable!

My friend and I visited for the holiday pop-up and found the decor cute, but it was definitely quite full starting around 5pm on a Friday. We went around sunset (very early 4pm unfortunately) and easily got seats. We got to see the city both in daylight and at night which was nice. I liked the candy cane forest ($18 with tax) which was quite light and refreshing like mint ice cream. My friend got the fireside cran-beary cocktail ($18 as well) which tasted like cough syrup which she didn't mind, but I would not get that one for myself personally. Service was fine, although they had to remake my drink because there was some metallic/shiny appearing piece in my drink. Overall, it was a nice one time experience to soak in the views, but the drinks were hit or miss and the journey was much too pricey for my liking.

You have to enter the building with a small fox picture, go down a set of stairs and check in at the counter of said restaurant before they lead you into the back where the speakeasy is. The menu is "set" in that they have a particular cuisine focus for the night and the four food dishes are predetermined as well as the first drink. That being said, you get to order three more drinks from their cocktail menu that range from lighter to more spirit forward, ending with more dessert type cocktails. All the drink flavors were so unique and a fun twist. The food was actually very substantial. Good flavors as well. Our favorite dishes were the lamb cigars (large egg roll shape with eggplant and spices) and the whole branzino. Everything was good though. Service was a very friendly and they were open about the fact that if you didn't like a drink they'd make you another one.

She was great! Really enjoyed talking with her and she had great drinks recommendations. The food was delicious and very unique which was refreshing. Its a 2 hour experience with 4 drinks, 3 food courses and a dessert. You definitely wont be hungry after. Highly recommend for a date night.
