The first time I had it was during a student reception and I promised when I return it would be a must have. When I arrived they didn't have anymore of the chocolate raspberry blend but the young lady waiting on me said they could make it foe me. I got an iced latte with chocolate and raspberry added. When I tell you that it was the most amazing thing my taste buds had ever encountered. Even better than the original offering I had before. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. I asked for it iced originally and it was made hot but they remade it iced and gave me the hot one as well. Super sweet and the service was amazing. It was my next to last stop of the day but no matter the time I go the customer service is always top notch. Looking forward to my next trip for this wonderful concoction, I feel like I'm already over due.

The wait isn't too long unless it is a campus visit day. Seating around McConn is usually full, so it might be best to take your drink to go. As someone with food allergies, I wish they had coconut milk as a dairy substitute. However, they do have almond milk and oat milk.

You can find caffeine in many forms here: lattes, cold brew ... whatever else. My mind is blanking on all of the other coffee drinks, because I just ordered a cup of the house blend to go (black). It was just the thing that I needed. I drink my coffee very slowly, so it's important that my coffee taste good as it makes its way from piping hot to lukewarm. The black coffee at The Caffeinery tastes good in all temperatures! What a relief. Sometimes, coffee will taste more bitter as it gets cold, but that's not the case with this coffee. It was good from start to finish. There's a little play space for kids here, which I love to see. I wasn't visiting with my children, but when I was a young mom, I was always on the lookout for restaurants and cafes with nooks for kids. That's really cool that The Caffeinery has a play area for children here. Parking is on the street, and I had no probably finding a free parking space.

The coffee is hands-down the best in town, and the pastry selection is just as impressive. The customer service is consistently warm and welcoming, and with easy parking and comfortable seating, it's a spot that truly has it all. We'll definitely be back next time we're in town.

Located in Sweetser, Indiana right by the Sweetser Switch Trailhead (which leads into the Nickel…read morePlate), the Sweetser Cafe is a breakfast/brunch smalltown diner where locals gather, non-locals don't feel out of place, the food is good, and the welcome is warm. I stopped by on my Tenderness Tour because I was dragging a bit for the day and wanted to pick up an iced tea. Taking a camera crew (this tour was filmed from beginning to end) was a little awkward, however, the locals tolerated my presence quite nicely and I was able to have a great conversation with owners and employees about everything I was doing - a couple even donated to the cause and we got a great photo or two! The food here leans toward breakfast - like most breakfast/brunch joints - and this wasn't my first time here as I'd been here on a previous tour. Pricing is fair and definitely below an awful lot of Indy's brunch joints. While Sweetser Cafe doesn't have a website (that I'm aware of), they do have a social media presence and I do know they serve black angus beef, have daily specials, and are locally owned. Sweetser, Indiana is a smaller town of just about 1,000 in Grant County and is a great place to start for those tackling the Cardinal Greenway (Indiana's longest rail-trail). If you stop in Sweetser, you stop at Sweetser Cafe (at least before 2pm).
