Only had this a few times but the food had been great every time I've had it! Great small town grill environment.

I kept forgetting about the Grill and would remember when driving by. Finally got there on a Walmart run. I started to go with breakfast but saw the hotdogs are Nathan's. I went with the Char Heel with no onions and shredded Cheddar, tots with cheese and bacon and a side of macaroni salad made that day. Husband went with the special... chicken fried chicken with mashes potatoes and French fries. The hotdog was so good and loaded with topping. The tots had big pieces of real crunchy bacon and they were cooked just right. I took the pasta home for lunch the next day... so good with my leftover pork. I'm a salt-a-holic, so I did add salt. The gravy was really good! It was so nice being in a down-home grill with great friendly service. I will be back for breakfast! read more

The main food was decent but the side of onion rings I had was really greasy and limpy. The hot dog I had was amazing, but the "old durham burger" needed a little bit more to make it better. The service was the biggest problem. Took them 45-50 mins to make my food TO GO. I wasn't dining in so carry out orders should be way faster. Seems like it was a lot of playing around going on. The place in general is very nice, has a good walk in and bar to sit at to wait for food and if your dining in you have whole other area to go to for a good sit down experience. read more

Nice spot to grab a bite in Roxboro. We were up that way working this week and decided to give Rox City Grill a try. We were given a warm welcome upon entry. Our waitress was very friendly along with the rest of the staff we encountered. My cheeseburger was very large in size and very flavorful. The fries were hand cut, fresh and packed with flavor. The food looked good and the service too for the most part. But, there were no signs requiring masks and the staff, when asked, said that they were not wearing a mask ether. No social distance enforcement. The customers that came in did wear masks when entering. The kicker was when the cook came from the back wearing a beard guard as a hair net. You might not agree with the mask regulations but, it is something you are required to follow. read more

Great food, great service, nice small town atmosphere. Our food took a little long to come out, but the staff and waitress were very attentive to us and when the food finally did come, it was hot and fresh. I'm kind of a mushroom swiss burger snob and any restaurant I go to that has one on the menu, that is the first thing I try. Their mushroom swiss was outstanding and as I usually do, I ordered a double. I caution you that if you do the same, make sure you are VERY HUNGRY! The burger patties were HUGE! I swear there was no less than a pound of beef on there and that thing was the size of my head. I ended up finishing it (and finish it I did!) with a knife and fork because struggling to get it to fit my mouth turned the burger into a bit of a mess. The house made potato chips were delicious and crispy and definitely get the ranch sauce to go with them. All around great meal with great service and I highly recommend it. My only complaint (and it has nothing to do with the food or the service which is why they still get 5 stars) is maybe leave your personal political views out of your business. Everyone is welcome to their beliefs and opinions, I have no problem with that, but if I'm going to run a business that I want as many customers as possible to come into, I'm going to leave my personal politics out of it so that everyone feels welcome, not just people that align with my beliefs. I understand it's Roxboro and Person County and the long standing culture that has grown there, but as an outsider coming in from a lifetime of large, meteopolitan areas, maybe lets just put away the division and sit down and enjoy a good meal. read more

Food was great, waitress and other staff friendly and helpful, tables actually were solid and no wobbling. their fries are hand cut and delicious, the burgers had it seems a half pound of meat!
