On the first visit, I was returning a package to a business. The package was part of an identity fraud case, so I was "returning to sender" in order for it to be removed from my account. I had only received it because the office staff at my apartment complex recognized my name (as the address was the other individuals) so it was very lucky. I brought it to FedEx to return and they said they would handle it. Imagine how surprised I was when my office called and said the same package had been redelivered and asked what I wanted to do. The FedEx staff had not relabeled the package and just sent it out- unacceptable. After that, I took my package to another FedEx location as this was important. (1 Star Experience) On my second visit, I was returning a laptop to my employer and had everything pre labeled / ready-to-go. When I walked in, the staff was super friendly and bubbly and happy to help. The woman working quickly scanned it, got me a receipt and everything was taken care of. Next day, I received confirmation that my package was delivered. This was a fantastic experience because of how quickly I was helped and the job was done as expected (5 Star Experience). Overall, it seems like this business is improving and has hired better employees in the more recent times. Next time I use them, I'll provide an update!

A package I sent through them languished in Spring Branch for four days before they picked it up. It then took a week to get to Houston. A week! I could have walked 199 miles in a week. After that the package simply disappeared. After another week of seeing the same lack of progress on their website I contacted customer service. They told me they couldn't track it because it had been "too long." They delayed the package and then lost it, but couldn't track it because their system took too long to do anything with it. I use USPS exclusively unless a shipper insists on using UPS or FedEx. If I really need the item I acquiesce. From now on I think I'll stick with USPS as they have proven to be very dependable.

When I got there the person who does that kind of work came out to 'help' me but basically blew me off and acted annoyed that I was there. I emailed him all the specifics he asked for, including the logo to print. He never returned my email, never quoted me a price and never got in touch with me again. The lady at FedEx tried to tell me we answered the wrong questions when submitting our equipment return request and we had the wrong QR code... it was the one that supposedly said we didn't need FedEx to pack it. there were no questions we had to answer when submitted the request to return equipment and told her as much. Clearly, she doesn't know what she's talking about. If the first thing she said was not a process we had to go through.
