We knew from the beginning that some things are not able to be controlled by any contractor. So when the bid gave us some breathing room, we were very pleased. Work began as soon as the permits were approved and we are currently ahead of schedule for completion. I would recommend R. C. Savage Construction to anyone looking for a builder!

Our relationship with Randy transpired over a 7 month period, during which we paid him $8700 for soils testing, engineering and building plans. We sold our home in Phoenix, purchased a lot in Prescott, and secured a rental. During this whole process, Randy both verbally and written, promised the contract price would not exceed 600k. On March 26th we received Randy's contract and it totaled $720k. $120k over budget with absolutely no mention or warning the entire 7 months that we may end up being over budget. We are aware that lumber prices skyrocketing is out of his control, however when you hire a contractor you expect that they will communicate and inform you of fluctuations in the prices of building materials. When we told him that $720k wasn't possible for us (which we were very upfront about our strict budget from the get-go), he offered no solution but to go get other bids. We complied with his recommendation and sought to get bids from other contractors. We were told that the drafting person Randy hired, would need to remove her copyright from the plans and give written permission for another architect to make changes to them. She ignored our requests and therefore the plans we paid Randy for are useless to us. Randy has offered no solution or rectification for the money that we are out due to his negligent false guarantees and promises. In hindsight, it appears to be a typical bait & switch move. There are MANY other fabulous contractors in the Prescott area and we wish we would have done our due diligence from the beginning and found a more honest and experienced contractor. We hope this review saves another family the grief and devastation our family has faced since meeting Randy.

I checked reviews here and kind of randomly called Mike. We spoke for a while and he was quite cooperative about helping me with my inquiry. I ended up not buying that house but fast forward to this month (July 2025) and I bought a house in Prescott. My home inspector found several issues that needed repair that involved several specialties (plumbing, carpentry, drywall). I remembered my conversation with Mike and called him. We had a preliminary discussion on the phone about what needed to be done, and he assured me that he was qualified in all the required areas. It's also important to note that Mike is a licensed contractor. Mike came to the house at the appointed time and date and reviewed my list and checked out the areas where the work was needed. He gave me an estimate based on the number of hours he thought the work would take over a three-day period. Having been around the block many times regarding home repair, I found the estimate to be competitive and reasonable. I hired Mike. He arrived on the job promptly every morning. He completed all the repairs within the estimated number of hours and with much care and expertise. I will definitely be calling Mike for any future work that needs to be done at my house.

I will definitely use his service again. I highly recommend him for you handyman or construction needs.

Tony, the owner, quoted a great price with high end materials. The company is ultra conscious of protecting the property of the homeowner, and leaving everything as pristine as it was upon arrival. I cannot commend them more on their beautiful work. Should the need arise for similar services in the future, I'll certainly be calling Tile Perfected. Many thanks.

Tony responded to my call the same day and came out to take a look at the job. He recommended that we consider a porcelain tile which would stand up better to the freeze and thaw cycles (vs slate). He also suggested that we consider finishing off the front-facing (vertical edge) of the porch with a metal trim piece and tile extending to the ground. This was something that no one else had recommended. Tony, and his assistant Alex, did a meticulous job of removing the old slate, grinding down the old adhesive until the surface was completely flat. They also sealed some cracks that had appeared under the old slate. They were very meticulous about laying the new tile. The tile installation came out better than we imagined, and we are extremely pleased with the results. The communication throughout the project was very good and Tony was very pleasant to work with. Overall, we are extremely pleased with the communication, quality of work, attention to detail, and the cleanup . If you are looking for a high-quality tile installation, be sure to check them out !
