We bought our house over 6 years ago. The previous owner had the septic tank empty before we moved in. We had 4 people living in the house and after 5 years, the toilets started to clog. Which hadn't happened before. So we got in contact with JT's Septic, since they came recommended highly from the neighbors in our small town! And they did not disappoint. They were fast and reliable. They even told us that our septic was so full of toilet paper and to not use any chemicals in our tank, that it kills the actual natural bacteria needed to reduce waste! I called to request someone to come out to mark our septic because we were going to dig and the cap markers had been sheared off some time ago. JTs wanted to charge me $430 just to mark it!!! I love these guys!! If you have a septic system do NOT call anyone else. Seriously, they show up the same day, at least in my cases, and it's always an emergency. There service is amazing and they do not bull crap you. I wouldn't recommend anyone else. They did a camera inspection, they dug and covered the septic lids. I couldn't recommend this company more. We have a cabin in Groom Creek, up Senator highway...it had been several years since we had it pumped, since we only use it in summer. I called and was greeted very nicely on the phone. They were able to come up promptly..here they is the best thing..when he came out to check, he only found a cracked lid on one of our pipes. He actually called and said we did'nt need to have it pumped yet and would feel bad about charging for that service. I was shocked any company would be that honest. We realized on a Thursday night that the water was going down really really slow and gave JT's a call after hours. They were at the house by 8am Friday, located the cleanouts in about 10 minutes, dug them up for the truck to drain which arrived a couple of hours later. So by about noon Friday everything was good. Nothing better to deal with then dealing with a family owned/operated local business that's fair priced and does more then what the average company would do for you. I was looking for the last company I had used about 16 years ago (sadly was the last time I had my septic tank pumped) and called JT's. Luck had it that they had my old record from back then. I visited there website on Memorial Day weekend and seen they had a the ability to schedule an appointment. I made my request for Thursday (the 30th) and listed anytime for them to come out. I wasn't expecting any reply from anyone from the office on Tuesday however Ashley in the office contacted me and said they'd be out on Thursday from 1 to 3. Jesse and Andrew showed up exactly on time and knew very quickly where my tank was. They had to dig up the one opening which was about 2 feet under the soil. Not a grumble from either of them and quickly had it dug out and accessed. Of course I planted a tree years ago not far from that location and of course there were tree roots growing around the opening. Again they didn't grumble, cut the roots that was in the way and got straight to pumping out my 1000 tank. They did a very through job, took pictures of the before and after job plus did a good checking out the tank to ensure roots didn't breach the tank anywhere. Thank fully I got lucky. There truck they showed up in looked spotless and everyone I dealt with was extremely helpful and really did care about my satisfaction. They were at the ready to answer my if my dumb questions such as putting rid ex down the commodes if that helped etc. If there's anything to learn from my experience, please don't allow your septic to go so long without service. I got away very lucky with nothing being majorly done but had it been another year or two at the max, the outcome would've been a disaster and very expensive. Your also able to use a credit card, check or cash for payments so almost all options are covered. Not sure they take that new cryptocurrency or bitcoin type stuff yet. Haha I also like to do business with my local and neighborly businesses verses any big box business that's out for your money and refuse to do anything else without additional charges. My only and very minor suggestion would be, is that on their website when scheduling an appointment day/time that they'd have a calendar or someway to make sure the times that they are available. However that is minor and basically nit picking. Thank you Ashley, Jesse, and Andrew for all your help in such a quick response and availability. I called and was able to schedule an appointment the following week. We are new to septic systems and the lady that answered the phone was so incredibly knowledgeable on septic systems. She was immediately able to pull up our system and then proceeded to describe,in understandable terms, what type of system we had and a brief description of how it works. She said we would receive an email the day before and a phone call the day of to let me know if they were running on time. All of that happened. Kyle showed up a little early and was super helpful as well. He knows his stuff. We had a peculiar add on that wasn't making sense. He was pretty sure he knew what was required but was humble enough to say he wanted to check with the owner. Which Kyle did and they were both on the same page. I appreciated that he admitted he wanted to verify. As it turns out, an addition to our system resulted in an unusual setup but he figured it out on the spot and verified it as well, just to be sure. Just what we are all looking for: a company who makes sure every one of their employees are knowledgeable, thorough, professional, prompt and courteous. We weren't scheduled to need an inspection or pumping of our septic system for another five years, but we recently detected something we thought might lead to problems. We called the office and were advised that they could check it for us the next day when they would be in the area. This morning we heard from Jesse, the service guy, when he was a half hour out. He arrived just when he said he would and, in no time, detected a small problem which would have become a bad situation. He fixed it immediately and did thorough diagnostics. He was as happy as we were that it turned out to be fairly minor. He left us with a thorough explanation and options/pricing for the next visit in 5 years. Great guy, great company. I called JTs when my septic tank was in dire need of pumping. I called at 8 am they were at my home working at 10 am, was a great response time. They explained home the system works and gave me some maintenance tips. The cleaned the septic tank, filter, and checked the system for any problem areas. JT'S septic service was great. We called them on a Friday morning about 8 a.m. We live about 120 miles from where their office is located. Wasn't sure if they would even come to us.( Septic businesses closer to us wouldn't come out. Had to be within a 30 mile radius from them) Any JT'S came out about 3hrs later. Found the septic tank and lids. Pulled the roots out and pumped out our tank. Took maybe 2hrs. We thought the price was very reasonable. We are very happy with their services. read more
