Our first conversation with Dave was that we should go ahead and purchase the equipment we need and he would do the installation. Over the next month or so we did the research and purchased a water softener, reverse osmosis system and a couple of other items including a new kitchen sink. We made an appointment and Dave came out. Three-steps out of the truck he calls my wife a "cougar" but I let it go. Whatever? Next, he tells me I should not have bought the water softener as there is a better product on the market that he sells. I'm sure he is correct; however, my softener is not returnable. Dave also tells me my Wellmate water pressure take is no longer working, that the bladder is "shot." He can tell this be just "feeling" the tank. He has to rush off and we consider all of this. The next day I text him and ask for a written estimate to do the installation and he DECLINES the work. I the meantime I purchased a replacement Wellmate tank and retained a new plumber (review coming). THE KICKER... MY OLD WELLMATE PRESSURE TANK WAS JUST FINE! It just needed to be re-pressurized. We don't think much about our Septic system until something goes wrong then we make calls in a…read morepanic-ed mode. I did just that. The first company I had at my home insisted they needed to break into the 125 foot retaining wall that encircles my yard and supports the mountain side. Fear drove me to reach out to other companies. When I called Lassila, the owner, Leslie, talked me down. She listened to what I had to say, heard what I needed and set about getting me the help, the CORRECT help that I needed. Lassila sent two young respectful men, Scott and Anthony to my home to check into the situation. Within in less then a hour the guys were able to local both Septic tanks without breaking into the retaining wall! A short time after the tanks were pumped arrangements were made for the men to return a few days later to do repair work to a pipe that was failing. Never at any time did I feel high pressure sales, just plain honest explanations of what was wrong, what needed to be done NOW and what could wait if I choose to. I felt comfortable with both men and the company they represented and agreed to have them do all repairs. When they returned with a backhoe I was amazed at how they carefully maneuvered thru and around my yard with all it's raised garden beds-- they treated my property as if it was theirs. They needed to open up a section of chain link fence to get access to my yard, and I was overjoyed and pleased with the care they took to reattach my fence and make sure my yard was safe for my dog. From the moment I first called Lassila to the moment their employee's said good bye I was treated with respect and concern for myself and my property. My only regret is that I do not own another house or two to have them come work for me again.
