Called Tim today to have him come out and pump my septic and check to see if there were any clogs that could have caused the water to be backing up into my tub. Not only was he available to come by and check it out he got it taken care of the same day. He had all the proper tool to locate exactly where the tank was without digging around too long. Oh was I impressed! I had gotten a ridiculous bid from another local Sedona plumbing company who said they could pump our tank for an outrageous amount($2,700) just to pump my tank...definitely not Arizona's Best. Mr Rooter called them to come pump our septic (we had a backup), they were on time and did a good job (I guess :) .... He actually took a "weed wacker" looking thing and mixed up the sludge before he pumped, that way it gets the tank clean and doesn't just suck up the water on top. I contacted Yavapai Septic Service because I'm preparing to build a garage addition on my property where a septic system is supposed to be located according to recorded county maps. Yavapai Septic Service purportedly did an inspection for my close of escrow just last year and there is an apparent conflict between the platt map filed with the county and with the location of the septic system included in the inspection report. I contacted Mr. Marquez to see if he could assist me with locating the actual septic system but he was not the least bit interested in helping me. He kept insisting that I should be able to locate the system from the map drawn on his report and was not the least bit interested in helping me locate the system. Sorry, his map does not reflect my property and boundaries. I now have to wonder whose property he did his inspection on because there is no evidence he ever did an inspection here and he certainly is not willing to help. Tim and his assistant came to pump the septic tanks at our house and at our rental house. He told us ahead of time that there are two compartments to pump. For the past 15 years, the company we had used only pumped ONE side! He worked hard with a device that broke up the residual effluent in both sides to bring the tank to a clean standard. Not only did he do an outstanding job (the best ever), he arrived on time in uniform with a clean truck and a fine attitude. His first impression was a good one, to say the least. Called Tim at Yavapai Septic Pumping because of a blockage in my septic system. He came right out, pumped out and washed down our tank, and advised me on proper care of our system and how to avoid a reoccurance. Apparantly, using wood stove pellets for kitty litter and flushing them down the toilet is not a good idea. (Who knew)? He also helped me unplug the leach line further out, which was beyond the call of duty considering he just came out to pump the tank. I highly recommend him.
