Wow my new favorite place. Headed back to San Francisco from roadtrip and happened to stop by. Hands down best bread I have ever had forget Tartine in San Francisco this is my favorite new spot. Highly recommend I will go out of my way to come back. Thanks for making such delicious food!

Hot chocolate croissant and banana bread. Both excellent choices!

Do not venture to West Marin without a stop at Route One Bakery & Kitchen! My daughter and I visited on a summer weekday from Inverness. She loved the unique hot chocolate croissant (think smores) and I was a big fan of the banana bread. We played in a nearby playground after our pastries and then came back to grab pizza to take home for lunch. Their focaccia pizza is otherworldly! If you're a mushroom lover, definitely don't miss that one! I also enjoyed their Caesar salad. We came back on Saturday before heading home to get more pizza and some sourdough bread. My daughter asked for toast every day for breakfast for as long as the bread lasted. Route One Bakery & Kitchen is a very special bakery; don't miss it!

Went in for lunch and came right back the next day! Everything on the menu was tasty, satisfying and would want you to come back. Cozy place, nice covered outdoor eating area, and staff were friendly. The mushroom pizza, cara-cara current croissant, apple pie are a must.

We got three slices they were all amazing!

We showed up later in the day. Right before they closed. The staff were awesome, polite and helpful. Most things were sold out but we found plenty of goodies to snack on after a day at the beach. Highly recommend the pizza was so good! And the Mexican hot chocolate croissant was amazing! The best chocolate croissant I've had. Topped with a toasted mallow cream. They closed while we were there so the staff offered us free sourdough loafs to wish we gladly excepted. We worked through the loaf over the next few days. For someone who geeked out on sourdough making during Covid and now has a true appreciation for quality sourdough. I can say this place makes a great loaf with a perfect crumb! Highly recommend this place and look forward to going back!

Great spot We really liked _the bread (sourdough: plain) (it's the same place that supplies to bread for Marshall store's "garlic bread") _The hot chocolate

Probably one of my favorite bakery by far. In one weekend I tried almost all of their delicious goods. And I loved them all!!!! I took some home.

Stopped here on my way for a weekend trip in NorCal and I continue to think about the pizza here! Their specialty is definitely bread, and I can attest that their pizza, sourdough, and pastries are the best you'll ever taste! Not to mention their mocha coffee with fresh whipped cream and orange zest is to die for!

Stopped by after coming back from a walk on the beach. I got a loaf of focaccia and a persimmon chocolate scone. Both were really good! I took the focaccia home and crisped it up in the oven and the crust on the bottom was divine. The onions on top were rich and caramely and I enjoyed the texture and flavor the seeds and zucchini gave. The persimmon scone was good as well! I wish the persimmon flavor was a little stronger, but it is a pretty mellow fruit after all. Would stop by again if in the area and craving some bread.

Best sourdough I've ever had; get the seed bread. Amazing flaky raspberry hand pie. Dense coffee cake. Delicious ham & cheese croissant.

I appreciate that it's a local business that supports other local businesses, family owned and operated, and is a beloved part of the community. The barista knows the orders for the regulars and seemed to know when someone wanted a chat versus needed caffeine and not up for talking. My oat milk mocha latte is always delicious and finished too quickly. There is a variety of rotating baked goods and a few easy breakfast options (like yogurt parfaits, frittata slices, and breakfast burritos) that have always been delicious. The homemade pastries are seriously amazing. Today, my scone (gluten free pear, ginger, and cardamom) was so yummy I got a second one to go (there isn't always a gf option for pastries available so especially enjoyed this one). Someone said their almond croissants were the best they had ever had. And they've had croissants all over. The coffeehouse is super cute, with nice indoor and outdoor seating options. The parking lot is easy to navigate. They also have my absolute favorite pronoun sign. One of the few places I'll always recommend and always stop in.

One turned out to Jim Irving, the owner, which became clear as a steady stream of regulars nodded in respect or chatted him up. Roadhouse has a cozy, slightly gritty charm, with shared board games, indoor and outdoor seating, and a small selection of fresh baked items, including cream cheese blueberry coffee cake, morning buns, and banana walnut muffins. It opens very early, which customers dedicated to their caffeine, like myself, will appreciate. My Mexican mocha with oat milk, cinnamon and mild spice was well made, and hit the spot.

As soon as I walked in, it felt homey and I just knew I was going to get some fresh ingredients! Service was super helpful and friendly. My husband and I shared the chicken club sandwich with fries and an extra order of onion rings. The sandwich came with an organic marinated grilled chicken breast, bacon, cheddar, avocado, lettuce, onion + housemade mayo on freshly baked sourdough. Everything melded together nicely. That toasted bread was . The French fries were fresh and definitely tasted homemade, I didn't leave one fry behind lol. The onion rings had a very light batter and went down pretty easy. My husband thought they were a little too greasy but they're fried in oil so what are ya gonna do? What I also thought was impressive was that their dip for the onion rings and the ketchup were homemade also and honestly was the best tasting ketchup I've ever had. The elderberry mimosa was also nice on this Sunday afternoon. Highly recommend Estero Cafe.

The buttered bread and cheese overwhelmed the thin layer of mushrooms. The texture of the sandwich just didn't work, with mushrooms and spinach falling out on every bite. Side salad was the mixed greens you would get at the grocery store packaged, with some red onion on top. That was it. The onion rings were super thin and the batter fell off before you could dip. No texture and no crunch. Very disappointing. Wish I took a picture. The road noise is pretty terrible on the patio. We were there an hour before lunch closing. Service was wonderful and warm.
