Stopped here on our way home from Bodega Bay as I was craving something other than seafood I had all weekend lol. What a lovely little place. As soon as I walked in, it felt homey and I just knew I was going to get some fresh ingredients! Service was super helpful and friendly. My husband and I shared the chicken club sandwich with fries and an extra order of onion rings. The sandwich came with an organic marinated grilled chicken breast, bacon, cheddar, avocado, lettuce, onion + housemade mayo on freshly baked sourdough. Everything melded together nicely. That toasted bread was . The French fries were fresh and definitely tasted homemade, I didn't leave one fry behind lol. The onion rings had a very light batter and went down pretty easy. My husband thought they were a little too greasy but they're fried in oil so what are ya gonna do? What I also thought was impressive was that their dip for the onion rings and the ketchup were homemade also and honestly was the best tasting ketchup I've ever had. The elderberry mimosa was also nice on this Sunday afternoon. Highly recommend Estero Cafe.

This is a cute little restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating, and a country cottage vibe. I was sat immediately and waited on promptly. I ordered the Sonoma omelet with a side of bacon, and the Estero iced coffee. The coffee was yummy, and the omelet was fluffy with lots of fresh veggies. This is one of my favorite brunch spots.

Stop at this little cafe for a coffee on our way to get seafood. Glad we stop, their drip coffee was one of the best I had. Small cafe, sits about 20 and a few tables outside. I will come by for their breakfast because the inside of the restaurant smell great. Lots of nice artworks on the wall. Service was excellent!!

What a cute little diner/restaurant. Amazing local artist's art work, peppermill, and pizza cutters were neatly displayed for you to purchase. Went for breakfast/brunch on Veterans Day. The waitstaff was welcoming and friendly. We ordered: lavender mimosa - served in a cute mason jar Breakfast salad with an added fried chicken - tasty and light but filling. Chicken was seasoned well. The crispy potatoes went perfectly and the house dressing was simple but so delicious. Blue cheese mushroom bacon burger - super yummy! Bun was toasted but still soft inside. Perfectly cooked meat and mushrooms and cheese was well balanced. I love the fact the mostly everything was locally sourced! Can't wait to try the sister restaurant in Sebastopol!

While visiting Sonoma County, we stopped by Estero Café for breakfast--and what a great find! I ordered the Huevos Rancheros, and it was so delicious I almost ordered a second one! Believe it or not, it was my first time trying the dish, and now I'm hooked. We also enjoyed the French Toast Combo and the Breakfast Burrito with bacon--everything was flavorful and satisfying. We left our plates completely clean! The staff was kind and welcoming, and the cozy atmosphere made the experience even better. If you're in the area--or even a short drive away--it's definitely worth the stop!

I'm an avid Diet Coke drinker and they had a delicious diet option, Along with their chicken sandwich and it was amazing. But what made this spot good was the service, We had a wonderful waitress and she was nice and bubbly kudos to her!

Really nice people working here. We were so happy to find something that had outdoor seating and was dog friendly during a weekend where rain was heavy and often. Parking is limited and lotsa tourists around. Park at the cute country store and buy a soda and then go over to Estero. Great menu, lots of little creative dishes and the service was so nice and friendly and sweet. Well run, deliciously satisfying food, cooked well, and lots of crab based specials that looked awesome. On a quiet part of Highway 1, go here and be impressed and well taken care of. Thanks for the delicious coffee and food!

After living in Valley Ford for over 6 months, I finally got in to try the Estero Cafe. My goodness, I'm so impressed. Met a lovely lady named Kat who helped me. The place was incredibly clean, organized & relaxing. I ordered a Benedict (didn't get a photo) & the breakfast sandwich. Made on freshly baked sourdough from a local bakery. Omg, everything was so tasty. Will be back to try more things on their menu. You should stop in

We had a delightful breakfast at the Estero Cafe. The service was impeccable and the food was so fresh, local & delicious. We split an omelette w/ hashbrowns & sourdough and added a side of bacon + English muffin. Our server Diana was wonderful. Friendly, professional and definitely made our experience more memorable. We noticed a sign that celebrated the local partner vendors and you can tell the difference when you taste the food. We will definitely be back!

Estero Cafe is a quaint small cafe on hwy 1 in Valley Ford near Bodega Bay. The menu for breakfast was pretty standard, and food above par but not "knock your socks off" quality. From what I remember, a little on the pricier side but everything was local so worth supporting the local economy. Service, although business was slow, took a while to get attention from staff.

We ordered the Coastal Tacos (rock cod) and Fried Chicken Sandwich. At first we were concerned that it might not be enough for us, but when the food came, we realized our worries were for naught. Both the tacos and the sandwich were quite large and also quite messy, but if a taco or fried chicken sandwich is not a little messy, it's probably not very good! The decor retains the flavor of the building's roots. I seem to recall reading that it was a stage coach stop (or railroad stop?) during an earlier life, which is completely believable since it was built in 1864. Rustic, but with some modern touches. Even before you reach the counter, the aroma of freshly baked sourdough and warm scones drifts through the air. A long line winding outside, but it feels less like waiting and more like the beginning of a ritual. Once you have your bag of baked goods and a cup of freshly brewed coffee, you wander into the garden, and this is where the experience becomes truly magical. Behind the bakery is a lush, meandering labyrinth of California wildflowers, berry vines, vegetables, and herbs. Raspberry and blackberry branches form leafy arches overhead. Sculptural artichoke plants rise from the earth with their beautiful buds intact. Dinosaur kale peeks out between flowers and shrubs. Unexpected pops of color everywhere you look. The garden feels abundant and slightly untamed, but never accidental. It is the kind of setting that makes you slow down, look more closely, and feel as though you have stumbled into a secret place. Eventually, the path opens into a small rustic seating area with picnic tables and chairs. We sat there surrounded by wildflowers and berry vines, drinking coffee and doing a full scone tasting. It was one of those simple but perfect mornings when all of your senses seem fully awake. CREAM CHEESE RASPBERRY BLACKBERRY SCONE- was extraordinary and easily my favorite. The filling-to-dough ratio was perfect. The scone had a beautifully tender, crumbly texture, with generous pockets of tart berries and whipped cream cheese that tasted almost like crème fraîche. The restraint was what made it so special. The cream cheese had no sugar, it remained rich, tangy, and creamy, allowing the sharpness of the raspberries and blackberries to come through. It was one of the best scones I have ever had. MEYER LEMON, MANGO SCONE - was equally thoughtful and completely unexpected. Meyer lemon zest was folded throughout the dough, so every bite had a delicate citrusy brightness. Small pieces of mango appeared in between, adding just enough tropical sweetness. I would never have instinctively paired Meyer lemon and mango, but the balance was exquisite - floral, tart, fragrant, and gently sweet. This was my daughter's favorite. MAPLE PECAN BLUEBERRY SCONE - was the sweeter option. The blueberries added their deep, jammy richness, plenty of pecans added earthy crunch, while the light maple glaze offered warmth without overwhelming it. It was indulgent, but still beautifully balanced. This is the one I would choose for someone with a sweet tooth. JALAPEÑO CORNMEAL CHEESE SCONE - may have been the most surprising. It tasted like the best parts of skillet cornbread and a classic scone brought together - golden, crisp edges, a delicate, crumbly interior and the natural sweetness of cornmeal. The jalapeño was finely incorporated into the dough, creating a gentle, lingering heat rather than sharp bites of pepper. Little pockets of cheese but honestly I think it would be better without it. It was distinctive, savory, and exceptionally well judged. It would be incredible alongside barbecue or a bowl of chili. ARTICHOKE FETA SCONE - with artichokes growing in their garden this one felt connected to the bakery like the raspberry one, felt farm to table. Generous amounts of salty feta, earthy artichokes and a great crust despite being gf, the bakery shows its adeptness with gf food. CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE - this was vegan and gf and really good. Coconut flavors and great crunch make this a whole different kind of treat. FOUGASSE - ROSEMARY, POTATO, GARLIC, JACK CHEESE. Despite the number of ingredients, the bread retained the excellent structure and chew of a proper sourdough. Every bite revealed something slightly different - a fragrant note of rosemary, a garlicky edge, a soft satisfying piece of potato, or a rich pocket of cheese. FOUGASSE - SHIITAKE, CARAMELIZED ONION, BLEND OF CHEESES - this one what a umami bomb with the shiitake generous all over, the onion overpowered them a bit but with the mild and nutty cheeses, this one is a hit What stayed with me most was the sense of intention behind everything. The bakery does not seem interested in chasing novelty for novelty's sake. The flavor combinations are original because someone has genuinely thought about how tartness, sweetness, richness, texture, and aroma should work together. The ingredients taste fresh and uncompromised. The setting feels like a natural extension of the food - abundant, beautiful, earthy, and quietly extraordinary. An unforgettable little gem, and absolutely worth seeking out.
