Affordable Automotive was a refreshing change from the usual places, and made the process as easy as can be. The staff here are incredibly friendly. As soon as I arrived, Walt & the rest of the crew greeted me and chatted as if I was a customer for years. I explained the situation with my car (the AC decided to blow up right when the weather finally got warm, figures), and within 2-3 business days, they had it blowing better than new. The best part though, was that they kept me informed throughout the entire process - including sending a video text message to explain and show where the leaks were, which I found to be both incredibly helpful and a really nice touch, in terms of service. Hey, it's the little things that count. They even go over the rest of the car and let you know what will likely be a problem in the future, but weren't really pushy to get them fixed. Prices were on-par / cheaper than other reputable places nearby, and if you own property in Brick township, they (as of this writing) are part of the "Buy in Brick" program, which shaves a few bucks off your property taxes at the end of the year, a nice touch. Charging you $500 for oil pan that cost about $35 and only takes about 15 minutes is bad business as they don't realize there is yelp, social media, word of mouth, etc. Shame on you for bad business, no wonder why you are not that busy! Just found from Greg that they charge the hourly rate from what the dealership charges for whatever car you have. So I could have gone to Toyota instead of them. They check dealership price and do not have set prices for them only. You are definitely not & wrong name of your business "Affordable Automotive"!
