So I explained that the car is 11 years old and 60 thousand miles. Maybe just change the old transmission oil and do the oil change. The day before I called and he said the car does have codes but he would not tell me what the codes were. I asked to only fix the codes related to the transmission not anything else because there are 3 recalls to be fixed by the dealership that would not cost me any thing. so he just changed the oil and drained the transmission. But when giving me a ride back to get my car he said he had to drain the trans twice because it was so bad and said he was concerned about that? But would not say what his concerns were? Instead he asked personal questions that were very inappropriate . In my mind tell me what codes you found , what are your concerns about old trans fluid not what a 78 year olds love life is like! And when paying there where no signs saying they charge 3% if you use a credit card. No mention of it. So he said my charge was $594.05 but the charge was 611.87.and the side of my car had major mud splashed and dried on the passenger side which I did not see till I got home. So i would never go back to PPT ever again.

American Transmission does not provide invoice or records for repairs made under warrantee. American Transmission does not honor their warrantee. Paid American Transmission for two transmission installations and one transmission installation under warrantee. All within an approximate two year period. All three failed. Inadequate repairs and faulty parts. Even though third transmission failed under warrantee and American Transmission acknowledged faulty parts, American Transmission refused to honor the warrantee. Sighting an issue that is not their problem. Basically there was a bunch of double talk, excuses, and no eye contact. Knowledge is power. Do your research. DO NOT USE American Transmission. The other shops either had no idea what I was talking about or had some outrageous offers like doing a transmission maintenance without changing the filter. Additional work done included spark plug change and oil change. JA Autowerks is about 100 miles from me. But after speaking with the crew there I knew it was the right place for my 2016 Audi RS7. From the moment I called them for a quote until I picked up the car, communication was spot on. Even with a bunch of people out sick, John the owner called me and met me when I dropped the car off. A few days later I was promptly contacted about the price of some additional items and gave the okay for the work. I didn't get to meet Jason, the tech who worked on my car, but I can tell from the craftsmanship he knew what he was doing. I'm meticulous when it comes how I work on my car, and it looks like Jason is also. Since I was so far, Nick took time out of his DAY OFF to meet me to pick up the car.
