Super cute little stop! It is a lot bigger than we thought inside. Lots of cute decorations around and TVs mounted for watching. The restaurant was very clean and not too busy so you can relax when you are eating there. Bathrooms were more or less clean. The staff were also very friendly. We had no issues. We called to order ahead because we wanted our pizza ready when we arrived. And good thing we did because it takes 25 min for a medium cheese pizza. I thought about ordering online, but that was 40-55 min and I realized that the prices online were more than the prices if you order and pay in the store plus a $1.75 service fee and you'd have to wait at the restaurant while they make it. There is also an arcade there for the kids to play. The cheapest prize was 50 tickets though so my kids weren't able to earn enough to get anything. But they had fun playing and we took the tickets home so they can just play arcade at home. Food itself tasted fine. No issues with the pizza. My kids liked it. We saw a lot of people eating at the salad bar too, so that must be good. We had a side salad and it tasted fresh. Good ranch dressing. This place also puts the Parmesan cheese on the fridge! Which is great because it's supposed to be refrigerated and many pizza places leave it out on the table all day. We would recommend this place. Lots of parking and nice relaxing stop in between our drive.

October 2024: Television tuned to watch a baseball game. Walk up to the counter, order food, grab a table and food is delivered by staff to you. The food was awesome. The atmosphere was relaxing. The only downside was that staff was behind a counter, doing something on personal phones , when the dining room needed some cleaning. Definitely want to return one day.

This pizza shop was so charming, the name is was brought us in but the food and service will have us come back. The food was perfection both the pizza and salad bar. It was clean and cool in this heat. The women who took our order and served us was a breathe of fresh air, so kind and attentive - she really went above and beyond. In the back there is a fun arcade we got to enjoy. Just all around the perfect pizza spot!

We took my son here for a last minute birthday celebration (he turned 3) although it can most definitely use upgrading and deep clean, it's a classic spot that's been there forever and I'm not sure if we just came on a extra good day or what but their pizza was amazingggggg. Will Come here again just to support local Barstow small businesses. Though I wish the city or the owners would pay for an upgrade in certain areas of this spot and pay for deep cleaners as well as fixing the broken games, Just needs some TLC!

Got the Supreme no olives. Was good, not greasy with a nice crisp to the crust.

I stopped by there on my way back from Arizona. Pizza was good and so was the antipasta salad. Make sure you order from https://route66pizzapalace.pizzamico.com/menu and not https://www.route66pizzapalacemenu.com/?utm_source=gbp You will be paying 40% more if you don't.

Would you pay $30 for this?????

Pizza was good, outside the restaurant was a little sketchy and the inside was... odd. Price was outrageous for what we ordered.

I purchased beef jerky, chile lemon pistachios, chocolate covered gummy bears, roasted garbanzo beans, and tajin flavored pistachios. A little embarrassed to say but I did sample everything I purchased, during the car ride there. I will say this is a premium indulgence. I'm sure the prices reflect the gourmet quality. We will definitely make this a must stop, every time we drive to Vegas.

We were on our way back to Las Vegas from Disneyland trip & needed a bathroom break & to stretch our legs. My four year old son asked for chocolate ice cream & I treated myself to lemon cream ice cream. Both flavors were fresh & YUMMY. My hubby doesn't have a sweet tooth, so opted for Jed's all natural beef jerky. Loved how they have a counter with a myriad of flavors to sample from. I tried the spicy mango brisket & it was delicious with a tiny hint of spiciness. My husband liked his black pepper jerky. There were so many stuffy toys & other novelty toys. And of course, I bought my spoiled son a toy before leaving the store.

I was skeptical at first, but pretty good food overall :) When my girl suggested this place, I was…read morea little hesitant because diner spots like this, most of the time are overhyped. It's one of those places to stop on the way to Vegas. Since it is a 50's diner theme, might as well check it out what's the hype is all about. The ambiance is I would say very old school (Back to the Future vibe). There's a lot of Elvis and Marilyn Monroe pics and memorabilia in this establishment, which is I'm sold to the hype. They have 50's juke boxes, as well.. so not too shabby! Their service is pretty chaotic at first, but once you get in line.. its smooth sailing from there. The gift shop is pretty much crowded because of the people window shopping or waiting for their diner experience. Their beeper doesn't reach on the outside of the restaurant, so we are forced to stay around the gift shop.. yeah that's sucky part lol. The food is surprisingly good and with a reasonable price. My girl and I ordered their burger combo that got us 2 sides for only $16.. can't complain with that especially on today's economy. Their malts and shakes are the star of any 50's diner theme restaurant. Oh yeah their classic chocolate shake hits the spot. Not too fancy and not too sweet for its ingredients, it just went down to my happy stomach :) Overall, not too bad and I actually recommend this spot to people on the way or back from Vegas to Cali :)

We had the Fabian French Dip and the Huell Hauser teriyaki burger. Both were excellent, the burger was substantial , cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The French Dip had a generous amount of of thinly sliced beef and delicious au jus. We had a choice of 2 sides. The fries and potato salad were excellent and the salad was simple but very good. Definitely a great stop for excellent food and fun atmosphere. We bought two pieces of pie but have yet to eat it we are so full.
