I came here on a Monday afternoon and was surprised on how much product they had in the store. All the color samples and brushes you need. I had a color sample from Lowe's and the guy was able to match it perfectly. I went with the Benjamin Moore advance It runs about $93 a gallon total which is absolutely crazy but it goes on like glass. Can't wait to see The finished product of my very old But sturdy cabinets. The store was in Lake Mary. Not much parking but they do have one space allotted for Benjamin Moore customer.

It used to be my go-to store as a contractor, but I now find myself frequently avoiding it--especially since Steve's departure from customer service. This week, I placed a large lumber order. When I arrived Friday to pick it up, I discovered that it had not been placed on skids or strapped together so it could be loaded by forklift. Instead, they expected to load more than 1000 pounds of lumber onto my trailer by hand. In over 10 years of shopping at Home Depot, I have never seen a large lumber order prepared this way. I spoke with Sean on the floor, and he assured me that he would have the lumber properly bundled that night so I could return Saturday morning and have it loaded by forklift. When I called Saturday morning, it still had not been done. I continued with my workday and planned to return Sunday. As I was getting ready to leave, I received a notification that Home Depot had canceled my entire order. I called the supervisor and they said they only will strap and bind a lumber order if called in advance. Keep in mind it now takes sometimes 10 to 15 minutes to get a hold of anyone when calling in. How does this make any sense as a policy? Sounds like lazy management not wanting to reissue the order even after their own error. Absolutely ridiculous. This is just one of many recent examples of poor customer service, broken commitments, and a complete lack of support at this location. I'll be taking my business to the Orange City store in hopes of receiving better service. It is disappointing to see what was once a great Home Depot fall apart because of terrible upper management.

Additionally, I've been struggling with rot issues around a pool closet that wasn't all that well designed. I filed a request with Mr. Handyman and Chad (the owner) promptly responded. Once again, I found Chad and the whole team at Mr. Handyman to be fantastic. He listened carefully to the concern, evaluated the issues and came up with the most cost-effective solutions. He made sure he set expectations in advance of scheduling the work and carefully chose his people that had the right skill set to do the job perfectly. Speaking of the right skillset -- Steven, the lead technician on the job, was just phenomenal to work with. Have you ever met someone who just really knows their stuff and makes you feel at ease? That's Steven in a nutshell. He's worked in all aspects of construction and it shows in his confidence and the quality of his work. He kept me in the loop throughout the entire job and made sure I was completely satisfied. Additionally, I had relayed some struggles I was having caring for my elderly father, and he was a sympathetic ear - offering some advice and ultimately assuring me that he had my back on the house repairs so that I could focus on helping my Dad. There are just not enough people like Steven in the world. He is a rockstar. Additionally, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention Dylan, who helped assist Steven, he too was extremely professional and worked hard to help keep to the timeframe quoted. Ultimately, the job was completed in a timely and professional manner. The quality of work was fantastic and I couldn't be more pleased. This Ace location has atrocious customer service. The manager can't take 5 minutes out of their day to let us know why a grill we spent thousands on has been pushed back on delivery twice. I will not be rearranging my work schedule for a THIRD week. Don't sell items and promise delivery dates if you cannot even fill the order. We will shop elsewhere you do not deserve the business of this community and lost my family as a customer. read more

Great customer service, clean store and have a good selection of things I need that I can't get at the big box stores but they are as all Ace Hardware Pricey. The good thing about Ace is you can usually find the hard to find items and they have saved me many times. I do shop here often. An added bonus to this Ace is the now sell guns. read more
