Not bitter and not too sweet, like other places, their espresso is the perfect combo. The Abbey is always quick, accurate, delicious & made by friendly staff. I walked in and was overwhelmed by the sight of a large bookcase containing dozens of varieties of pre-packaged ramen. That wasn't the kind of soup I had in mind (because...pre-packaged ramen), but I thought I would give it a shot because I didn't feel like driving anywhere else. Apparently customized ramen is a cultural phenomenon that I was unaware of. The owners walked me through the process. You pick your ramen. You pick your toppings (meats and veggies). You take your "kit" to the ramen cooking machine and make your soup. I ended up being very happy with the results. The soup was tasty. The place was new and clean. The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive. Five stars.
